“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. We are glad to have found a trustworthy friend like Jen to care for our dog while we travel. We would strongly recommend her.”

About: I started working in a kennel as a teenager and quickly advanced into working as a Veterinary Technician at the same facility. I have since moved on to work at a clinic closer to where I live, and have been working there for 6 years now. I have worked in this field for about 11 years total and am fully capable of taking excellent care of your pets! I work part time right now to stay home with my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son most days. I work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-6:30pm and Fridays from 2pm-6:30pm. On the day’s that I am off, your pets will have around the clock care from me. On the days that I work, I will come home on my lunch break to give them a potty break. We live on 14 acres that are not fenced in. Your pets will be walked on a leash a least every two hours during the day. I have found that leash walking is the most effective way to ensure your pet will not escape. I will only give food, treats and medications that you send with your pet to ensure your pets health and safety. You may request a bath or nail trim at an additional cost which will be done on the day before you pick your pet up. You will be notified immediately if your pets begin to show any signs of illness, and I will personally take them to your Veterinary Clinic of choice if needed. I promise your pets will be in great hands!

About: I am a big animal lover, from any size or breed! I recently was working for a breeding company in which I had to feed, bathe, and clean out the area for the pups. If I was lucky enough, I got to cuddle them! I am very good at keeping up with the instructions and bonding with the fur baby! Right now I am just studying to get my Real Estate License. With that being said, I am pretty flexible throughout the whole week. Prefer week days, but with a heads up on the weekend I will make it work. At home I have a fenced area in the backyard, or keep them inside. If I am watching them at your own home I can always follow any directions and just keep them company and take them out for walks or to play.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens. I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types. We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

About: I have had experience training and caring for dogs. I currently own 2 dogs, one small and a bigger one. I am the go to sitter for my family and I know enough to interact and communicate with these fun pets. To this day I am still learning more about how to strengthen my bond with my four legged friends and always trying to find a way for them to live a clean, lengthy, healthy life. About: We’ve had our puppy since he was 8 weeks old! We’ve potty trained him and taught him to do basic skills and to be very obedient. He could run outside and come back immediately when we call if he gets out. I am a stay at home mom. We have a 3 year old German shepherd that is low maintenance so plenty of time to help other furry friends. Also open to bringing him along for play dates, he is super friendly! We are working on a fence but for now either let our dog out the back yard to potty or play with our supervision or place him on the lead for short periods of time. “Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. We did a meet and greet and Erika slowly introduced Abby to each dog in her care at Abby’s pace. On the day of drop off Abby had significant anxiety about us leaving.
