“We are honored to say we were Jen’s first customers since she joined Rover. We were going to be out of town last weekend and felt like, basically, the only choice we had was to leave our pup at a kennel. We really didn’t want him to be confined to that small space with attention only given to him during feeding and potty breaks. A family member and a neighbor recommended we check out Rover. I read about several of the sitters, but when I read Jen’s and her reasons for branching out to take care of more dogs, I immediately got in touch with her. We set up a “meet and greet” for that night and after meeting Jen and her family and watching how they interacted with our puppy, my husband and I felt she was definitely the right choice for us and our ten month old Bordoodle. About: All my friends know me for my love of cats. I have two of my own, and have fostered dozens of kittens and cats. My time volunteering and fostering at rescues has given me experience with all types of cats, from spicy to sweet, babies to seniors, and cats who need special care and medication. For Ft. Jackson families, I am a veteran and have base access. I'm a student and have class during the day, but am available mornings and evenings on weekdays to drop-in. On Friday-Sunday I'm available all day! I take care of all cats like my own. I give them food, fresh water, and clean their litter. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.
About: We are a military family, we’ve moved around quite a bit and have opened our home to so many dogs in so many different states. I have 3 kids who are used to animals (especially bigger dogs). We have a private yard (unfenced, leads and leashes used and always supervised). We recently welcomed a dog permanently into our home so we do have one female dog in the house, she is crated when needed and very friendly otherwise. I’m home all day and would love a buddy or two to join us from time to time! I only ask that dogs are kid friendly! We don’t mind animals on furniture but will adhere to any at home rules you may set (if you don’t allow them to do certain things at home, I won’t deter any training and let them do it here and vice versa!). Crate trained dogs are preferred but definitely not required! Just know a lot of dogs may do better in a new setting by having their own spaces to retreat to! About: I have grown up with and taken care of dogs/cat/other furry creatures my whole life. I am excited to help care for yours. I have also handled dogs with various behaviors/needs. I currently work full-time as a dietitian at a hospital but am usually pretty free on the weekends and I get off at a decent time so I am able to do an evening walk or drop in on your fur baby in the evening as well if needed! My dog, Axel, is very spoiled as he sleeps in bed with us and he gets daily cuddles. He enjoys going outside so he gets plenty of walks when it is not too hot out but on the minimum, he walks twice a day every day. I will care for your animal as if they were my own and will spoil them as much as you allow me to!

About: For over 6 years I've been working in the pet care industry. From 2019-2023 I worked in the dog daycare and boarding business, first as a kennel tech at Central Park Dog Daycare in Oklahoma City, then for almost 3 years at Peachtree Pets in Georgia, where I worked as a kennel manager. During my time as a kennel tech, I received well over 100 hours of training in dog behavior from multiple sources. I have administered medications of all kinds, including insulin, to dogs of all behavior types. From 2023-2025 I worked at Hollywood Feed, where I took their extensive dog and cat nutrition training and sold organic, holistically sourced dog and cat food. From them, I learned the importance of feeding high quality food. Now, my dogs eat better food than I do, but they've never been healthier! I have two dogs of my own, who are my pride and joy. They're happy, spoiled, and have a great bond despite all their differences. Right now I'm mainly working from home as an artist. I plan to begin selling my work at street fairs, but those events only last a few hours on a couple days of the week, so overall, my schedule is currently, completely open and workable. I am completely open to spending as much time with your pet as you'd like me to, whether I'm hanging out with them for several hours each day, or only taking them out to potty briefly, it's totally up to the pet's comfort and your own needs. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 9 years old and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I had a Labrador Retriever and Weimaraner mix who was absolutely precious. She passed away on April 3, 2026, which was very difficult, but caring for her taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and the importance of providing dogs with love and attention. I currently have a Boxer, a Cocker Spaniel, and a Chihuahua, so I’m comfortable handling both large and small breeds. Through caring for my own dogs and helping family members and friends with theirs, I’ve gained experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I’m familiar with different energy levels and temperaments, from active, playful dogs who need plenty of exercise to older or more relaxed dogs who prefer a calmer routine. Family and friends know they can rely on me to provide dependable and attentive care for their pets. I always make sure every dog is happy, well-fed, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention while their owners are away. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I currently work part time and attend college classes, so I understand the importance of being organized and responsible with my time. My classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I typically work Friday evenings. My work schedule is posted about a week and a half in advance, which allows me to communicate my availability clearly and plan ahead for pet care. Outside of those commitments, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I am committed to providing reliable care, regular updates, and plenty of attention to every pet. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping a dog company, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I have a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise. I also have three friendly dogs who are well socialized and enjoy meeting new canine friends. I always supervise introductions and interactions to make sure every dog feels comfortable and safe. For dogs that are crate trained or need their own space, I have both a small crate and a large crate available. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I do my best to accommodate them. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, or stick to a specific schedule, I’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and comfort they deserve while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets all of my life! Big dogs, small dogs aged from 6wks -11years old! Dogs are more than just a pet to me, they are family! About: I’ve owned and trained my first dog since I was 6, I am now 18. My family has recently adopted a puppy. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs and smaller dogs. Additionally, I have been booked for several trips or walks and all dogs, big or small have had great care! About: I’ve always been around dogs. Since I was born until now! Its ranged from doberman, beagle, to now german Shepard. Im qualified to care for any dog no matter the size!
