“If I could give April more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was our first time ever having someone we didn’t know come into our home to care for our dogs, so I was honestly pretty nervous. From the moment we met April at our meet and greet, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. She immediately made us feel comfortable, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. While we were away, April went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared for our three very different pups, from our wild, energetic puppy to our sweet 16-year-old senior, each with their own unique needs. She provided incredible communication throughout the entire weekend with thoughtful updates, detailed visit summaries, and lots of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. What truly impressed us was everything she did that we never even asked for. Despite the rainy weather, she brought her own towels to dry our dogs off after taking them outside. She also stayed longer than scheduled to take each of our dogs on individual walks, simply because she wanted to make sure they got the attention and exercise they deserved. I’ve been surrounded by all kinds of animals my whole life, from my first job being at a dog kennel, to my mother opening a Bearded Dragon and Ball Python Snake Breeding Business, where we hatch, care for, and find homes for different reptiles. I first got my first two chihuahuas about 28 years ago and haven’t been without a furry angel. I would't have any other way-doggies are smart and just amazingly fun. Other than the gym, appointments,etc, - normal errands. That is pretty much the current extent of my schedule. I travel from time to time, but not regularly.so I am at home a lot. I have a small harmless chihuahua ,”Lilly “, so it’s just her and me. I always am well aware of where the doggies are, inside and outside. They always have water and food if necessary, according to the client’s wishes. About: I have had dogs my entire life. In my adult life, I have raised and trained 3 dogs. They are very well behaved and friendly. I am currently working from home Monday through Thursdays. So is my husband. We both love dogs and can give them a lot of attention. I have 2 friendly dogs and a very large laundry room if they would rather be by themselves. For clients, I usually stick to schedule with their feeding, potty breaks, etc. I like to keep their food and water bowls clean every time to prevent them from being sick. I take them outside for potty breaks and play with for about 30-40 minutes unless it’s too hot or cold. I also like to keep the owner updated on how their pets are doing and send pictures.

While I get ready for the day and get the reptile’s lettuce ready, I make sure Ozzy is present and getting lots of love. Ozzy walks with me up and down the stairs while feeding the lizards and walks with me over to my friend’s house to let out her dogs. They’ve grown up around each other and are very comfy playmates. When everyone has finished potting and playing, I wait a bit before handing out food for their stomachs to settle. After leaving my friends, I have free time until a little after noon to distribute bugs to the lizards. Once a week or so, I also take time around noon to clean out tanks and deep clean bowls. About: I’ve owned big and small dogs! From a pit bull to a terrier. Took care of my susy girl for 10 years, she was diabetic so i am experienced with medication and injections. I am a student and work full time in the afternoons but I am free every Thursday and Fridays! and Sunday to Wednesday from 11-2pm. I can drop by or dog sit. I have one small friendly terrier who lives inside and is welcoming to all pets. 4 friendly cats. Fenced yard! Furniture friendly to all fur babies
About: Between my wife and I, we've had a variety of animals to care for. From horses, lizards, birds, cats, dogs and even the wildest of them all; children! In addition to that I have experience in caring for special needs and the elderly. So, we know the importance in making your special family members are well loved while you're away. Evening drop off/pick ups are much more preferred due to full time jobs and a child in grade school. We have pets of our own so pet care is just a part of daily life! We both work full time jobs, but our mother/in-law moved lives with us and can let them out during the day. In the evening we have a 5 year old daughter who loves pets and is an eager helper! The weekends we are homebodies but still love to go to parks and walks as a family. We have a large fenced in backyard, space for whichever pet requires a crate. Aside from the occasional 5 year old meltdown, we have a relatively quiet home, good for your pets that prefer the quiet.
About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I typically work a few days out of the week and 4-6 hour shifts! These 4-6 hour shifts are either 10am-3pm or 3pm-9pm! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.
