She even ate really well, which is rare when she’s away from home. Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that Etta seemed sad to leave all her new friends and come home to just me, haha! Rebecca is incredibly communicative, her home is spotless, and Etta smelled so good when she came back—I genuinely thought she had been given a bath, but it turns out that was just the lovely scent of Rebecca’s home. From the moment we met April at our meet and greet, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. She immediately made us feel comfortable, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. While we were away, April went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared for our three very different pups, from our wild, energetic puppy to our sweet 16-year-old senior, each with their own unique needs. She provided incredible communication throughout the entire weekend with thoughtful updates, detailed visit summaries, and lots of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. What truly impressed us was everything she did that we never even asked for. Despite the rainy weather, she brought her own towels to dry our dogs off after taking them outside. About: Hi! My name is Carrington, and I’m a 28-year-old animal lover. I have 2 rescue dogs of my own and 1 cat! I’ve been dog-sitting for nearly 12 years and treat every animal like my own! I work in real estate/finance for a 1031 exchange company, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate last-minute requests. While it can be difficult for me to commit to weekly walks (since I let boarding dogs out at lunch and walk dogs staying with me during my lunch break), I’m always available for random drop-ins and walks! I have two dogs who LOVE playing with other dogs. I offer daily visits, potty breaks, baths, nail trims, dog park trips, walks, pet taxi services, overnight stays, and around-the-clock care. About: Between my wife and I, we've had a variety of animals to care for. From horses, lizards, birds, cats, dogs and even the wildest of them all; children! In addition to that I have experience in caring for special needs and the elderly. So, we know the importance in making your special family members are well loved while you're away. Evening drop off/pick ups are much more preferred due to full time jobs and a child in grade school. We have pets of our own so pet care is just a part of daily life! We both work full time jobs, but our mother/in-law moved lives with us and can let them out during the day. In the evening we have a 5 year old daughter who loves pets and is an eager helper! The weekends we are homebodies but still love to go to parks and walks as a family. We have a large fenced in backyard, space for whichever pet requires a crate. Aside from the occasional 5 year old meltdown, we have a relatively quiet home, good for your pets that prefer the quiet.
