About: I've had and taken care of a dog since I was 7 years old. Dogs were always a part of our family life. In my family and friend group I am the go-to person for pet sitting and puppy walks. I recently participated with a trainer from Ultimate K9 training in Southern Maryland with my own pup Russel who passed with flying colors and both he and I learned many new skills and tricks. Working with dogs is one of the loves of my life. I typically work a 7-5 shift at my day job but do have some flexibility during the day that I can use for a pup break. Evenings I am consistently available after 5pm. Weekend work is not a problem and I am open to helping support your much needed getaway. Love is always the first ingredient but of course we respect puppy boundaries as set by the puppy parents or how comfortable the pup is until they feel comfortable. Meals are fed to pups at the same time to make sure they are not feeling favoritism. Belly rubs and play time are also important for bonding and trust. I will send images of pets daily if the pet parent would like. Just let me know.

"Zuri", our 12 week old German Shepherd puppy, came home from her weekend and was so tuckered out, she slept majority of Sunday afternoon (which was nice so we could unpack from the trip!). About: I have taken care of dogs and cats frequently since middle school, often in house sitting settings as well. I have had dogs throughout my entire life and have many friends with cats and have spent ample time with them. I have dealt with numerous animals with health issues or problems, including older pets and puppies. I understand the value of all the little unique things that are important to an owner to ensure their pet is taken care of, healthy, protected and loved to their standard. My family rescued a puppy this past year, and I took on a large responsibility in training and watching him during his more crucial stages. I also work with puppies through a local breeder and have learned a lot about puppies and their development. With a schedule that makes my routine look different day by day I have found this would be a great fit as I can be flexible in working with clients. My weekends are free and I have lots of longer gaps throughout my day between classes which could be valuable to those who have to leave their pets for long periods of time. About: Hi, I started pet sitting when I was earning my BS in Animal Science from LSU. Over the years I’ve worked as a vet tech and at medical/ veterinary schools/ teaching hospitals. I’ve been a basic skills/ obedience trainer and watched clients’ pets at their homes or brought them into mine for 35 yrs. I live in a quiet neighborhood 6 miles from Myrtle Beach airport with my 1 year old Lab and his 8 year old All American cat. We love other animals and are very understanding of friends’ individual personalities. We’d love to add your family to ours. I only host one client family's request at a time. Your furry kids will only play with my dog and cat. Caution: let us know if your pets are on a diet because we love treats to bond and offer positive reinforcement. Hope to hear from you soon. I work from home and spend most of the day with my laptop outside on the patio. There’s also a dog door so the pups can come in and out it will if they need the yard or AC. Even when I’m in the office, the door is open. Generally, your pups will only be crated between 10 PM - 6 AM and 6 PM to 8 PM while I’m at the gym. Other than that, my eyes are on them all the time so they can run loose. I do make exceptions for older and/or well-behaved guests. I believe that each animal is an individual so I avoid broad assumptions. Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe in setting pups up for success. This means eliminating situations where they could get into trouble -such as a young dog being loose at night and having an accident, chewing prohibited item, etc. Unfortunately, I’ve seen accidents happen. So I know they can. I treat everyone else’s loved pet as I would a child. It’s a big responsibility that I take very seriously.

About: When I was growing up, I woke up every morning to the sounds of some sort of pet feet on the floor; There were cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, birds, reptiles, and everything in between being cared for by myself and my family at some point or another - I guess you could say my love for animals comes honestly!
