“Celia is such a sweet person! You can tell she truly cares about all the dogs. Pax is a rescue and sometimes struggles being away from home. But, Celia was so good with him and kept me updated on how he was doing and even sent pictures.. which helped calm my nerves about leaving him. He came home a very tired, happy pup! I cannot recommend her enough!”

“I appreciate Nick so much! I needed a pretty last-minute booking while traveling down to Columbia to visit family, and he accepted Mateo within just an hour or two. He took such great care of him and sent me pictures throughout his stay, which I really appreciated. Even within the first 10 minutes, I texted to check on Mateo, and Nick reassured me that he was doing great and that he was enjoying his company. His communication was amazing, and he really took the extra steps to make sure Mateo was comfortable and well taken care of. As someone with a reactive dog, I’m VERY particular about who I trust to watch him, so I’m really glad I found Nick. Anytime I’m traveling to Columbia and need someone to watch Mateo, Nick will definitely be my first choice!”
“Amazing experience, extremely communicative and easy to work with could not have asked for a better sitter. My dogs were very happy upon pick up and my dogs love playing with her puppy.”

He's full of energy and gets along with all breeds/sizes. I also have a lab mix his name is Jesse and he is 11 yrs old. He is also very sweet and gets along great with his little brother and every dog he comes in contact with. About my yard I live in an townhome with a gated backyard with grass. About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. Please feel free to reach out for more information. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.
“Shermida is amazing! Super sweet and amazing to work with. Great response times and communication, wants to know how to best work with pups to make time with the the best it can be. Would highly recommend! Would love to be able to have my girls with her again!”

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.
“Luna had a fantastic time with Shannon and her daughter. They were caring and attentive to Luna's need and we will definitely be using their services again. Shannon reached out with updates and pictures throughout the day and is a very good care giver.”

“Sebastian and his family were so very kind—and my Jet had a great time with them!! We will definitely call on them for our Rover needs anytime we are visiting Columbia! Thanks for an awesome experience! ❤️”

“Needing a pet sitter for my fur baby while I was visiting my daughter at the University of South Carolina- only for a few hours to watch the basketball game. I didn’t want to leave her in the hotel with all the doors slamming. I was so pleased and thankful to find Gina on Rover- who responded immediately and said that she could watch my Nola. Gina gave me lots of pictures during the visit and made me feel safe and comfortable! I knew she was in good hands! 🐾💕 Would definitely recommend and use again! 5 out of 5 🌟”

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! With dogs and cats, I try to provide them with as much mental stimulation that I can (and maybe a few treats).
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. From playful puppies to senior sweethearts, I understand the routines, personalities, and little quirks that make each dog unique. Being a lifelong dog mom means I’ve handled everything — feeding schedules, exercise needs, training basics, medication routines, and plenty of love. I’m very active, so your dog will enjoy engaging walks, outdoor time, and fun play sessions that match their energy level. Whether they’re a high‑energy adventurer or a slow‑paced stroller, I make sure every outing is safe, stimulating, and tailored to their comfort. At home, I’m all about affection. Snuggles, belly rubs, ear scratches, and kisses are part of the daily routine. I create a warm, cozy environment where dogs feel secure, loved, and completely at ease. My goal is always to make your pup feel like they’re part of my family while you’re away. I’m a stay‑at‑home mom, which means my schedule is wide open and fully flexible. I’m home throughout the day and able to care for puppies and dogs anytime. Whether you need last‑minute help, daytime care, or consistent weekly support, I’m available and ready to give your pup all the attention, playtime, and snuggles they need. Your pup will have a blast here- a fenced yard to run and play. Have a sweet fur baby here to keep them company and help feel right at home. It’s a fun, safe, and social environment full of wagging tails. I’m also happy to stay in your home if your pup feels more comfortable in their own environment. I provide the same loving care, snuggles, playtime, and attention right where they feel safest. To help maintain their routine and provide consistent, reliable care. This option can help reduce stress and keep your fur baby in a familiar, comfortable space.
“Jessica was amazing! She helped out last-minute when my other sitter canceled. She asked questions to make sure she had all info needed for Cooper. Communicated throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. Clean house and even went extra the before Cooper came over to make sure any small things were picked up off the floor since he’s a puppy and puts everything in his mouth. Her kids were an absolutely delight for Cooper to play with. Will definitely use her services again!”

It's a great way for your dog to release that playful energy while strengthening their health as well. Playtime is also important in keeping our pets happy and friendly! Getting out and throwing balls, frisbees, sticks, etc is one of my favorite things to do with my own dogs and it's another great form of exercise for your pup! All animals are precious and deserve all the love and care that they can get and I consider it a privilege for me to help you provide that for your furry family member!! I'm currently volunteering part-time which allows me a more flexible schedule which in turn makes it easier to accommodate to the scheduling needs of my Rover clients!! Every one of our beloved pets are different with wonderful, unique personalities of their own! I always offer and recommend a meet and greet to get to know you & your fuzzy friends & vise versa...as well a to taylor each visit to your pet's unique individual needs! (Eg, important medical information, personality quirks or anxites, etc) My goal is to create a dream vacation experience for your furry loved one; Full of playful fun & exercise; cuddles & belly rubs; custom meal plans with your choice of treats & toys to their liking & potty breaks galore! I love & care for each of your furry family members as If they are my own, & as a pet parent myself, I know the importance of having peace of mind by trusting that they are safe and in good hands when you are away! It is my promise that by the end of every visit, walk, overnight stay, etc....that your pet will feel Happy, Healthy, Full, Loved, & worn out from Fun!!!!!

About: Background/experience in veterinary medicine. I am very comfortable with giving medication, taking care of special needs/senior pets. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I currently own my own equine business which means I set my own hours. I am a very active person so including other animal duties into my daily life is not difficult. I treat each pet as if they were my own. I would do everything I could to keep them comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. Even if that means sitting on the floor while they take a nap so they don't feel alone.

About: I’m a caring and responsible pet owner, and I share my home with my husband, our three kids, and our 11-year-old Golden Retriever, Karma. She’s truly part of our family, and caring for her over the years has made me even more patient, attentive, and nurturing—qualities I bring into how I care for every dog. I’ve always had dogs growing up, and they’ve never been “just pets” to me—they’re family. I treat every dog with that same level of love, respect, and attention, and I would care for your dog just as I do my own. In addition to my personal experience, I’ve helped neighbors by watching their dogs during vacations and stopping in for visits when they have long workdays. I’m comfortable with daily routines, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I love walking dogs regularly and believe it’s important for both their physical and mental well-being. Whether your dog enjoys long walks or prefers time in a fenced yard, I’m happy to follow their usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy. I’m currently a certified teacher between positions, which gives me extra flexibility and time to dedicate to your furry family members—something I truly enjoy. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon! I’m a certified teacher between positions, which gives me extra flexibility and I'm currently available full-time to dedicate to your furry family members. I have a fenced-in yard at my home where dogs can safely play and relax, and I also enjoy taking walks around my neighborhood for extra exercise and enrichment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m happy to follow their usual routine—whether that means going for walks or letting them out in a fenced yard. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for in the way they’re used to.
