“melanie was amazing :) with this being our first time leaving our benji with a sitter she was so kind to answer all our questions she was patient and sent us updates along with pictures which was very comforting to know benji was in good hands . she’s the best !!”

“Sarah and Hagan provided a great place for my Weimaraner to stay over a long weekend. They have an air conditioned kennel with large fenced in area perfect for any size dog to be comfortable! Our 11 month old pup has a lot of energy and can get anxious when left alone but seemed to have a great time and was checked on regularly. They are very educated on handling dogs. We received plenty of pictures and videos during our dog’s stay. Would highly recommend Sarah and Hagan!”

“Our dog Zara had a fantastic stay with KIm. Very grateful for her. She sent regular pictures and updates and really took very good care. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring host!”

“Emilee is a great dog sitter! Maisie had an issue one night and Emilee was communicative and caring, and I felt confident in how she handled the situation. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Maisie with her again. Thank you Emilee for treating Maisie like your own.”

“Samantha did a fantastic job with our two dogs. We got frequent updates with so many pictures and the dog had a lot of fun. If we have to leave our dogs, we'll leave them with her!”

“This is Reggie’s second time staying with Jennica. And we are so happy to have found her! She clearly loves dogs and gives our fur ball love and attention. She provides constant updates and stays on top of communication. We really appreciate her services!”

“Nicole was very patient with this nervous dog momma! She made sure Diesel was comfortable while introducing him to other dogs! Thanks to her, he made new friends! I'll definitely use her again for boarding or even walks! Diesel loved her, too!”

“Ms. Alexis was absolutely amazing watching Biscuit! She was so accommodating and helpful as we had a sudden funeral to attend. Biscuit was extremely well taken care of and if you need someone who will truly love and take care of your pet, I 100% recommend using Ms. Alexis”

“Harley’s experience was wonderful. She enjoyed playing with their family dogs and cooling off in their kiddie pool. We enjoyed seeing pictures and videos of her having a great time during her visit. Our experience was also wonderful. They were very flexible for us with drop off and pick up when our plans changed. They even let us know when she ran out of food and offered to pick her up some for us. They went above and beyond and took great care of our Harley girl. Very grateful, would 100% recommend and will use them for future trips. Would give them more stars if I could!”

“We had a great experience! Daisy was well taken care of, Whittney was great communicating while we were away, and our fur baby was excited to stay! Thank you again and we can’t wait to bring her back.”

“Leanna was so wonderful with our girl. She went above and beyond accommodating us when it was MY fault for messing up which day I would be returning and added on an extra day to my reservation. We loved that we did a meet and greet to make sure everyone got along well. Her young daughters were so incredibly sweet to Tahlia and apparently had a great time with her. While Tahlia has love children in the past, she is older and hasn’t been around a lot of kids in a number of years. Leanna was great making sure Tahlia felt loved by her sweet girls but also making sure Tahlia wasn’t overwhelmed. Her yard was a perfect heaven for Tahlia and I’m sure she had lots of new things to smell and see. Leanna did great to make sure I felt updated and I felt super secure leaving Tahlia with her and the girls.”

“Terry has all but adopted my babies. They love her as much as she loves them!! As soon as they walk in her door they leave me and are checking everything out. Terry is the best!!”

“Yolanda was wonderful! Took exceptional care of our bashful senior pup. Great at communication and flexibility, also offers grooming options, which was fabulous to know, since we dont have a groomer locally :) fully recommend, and we will use her again!”

“omg, Mel is amazing! My mom and I always heard bad things about Rover, but we had a family emergency during Master's week (everywhere was booked!) and we decided to try our luck on Rover and found Mel, we instantly fell in love (as well as our two dogs)! Mel is amazing with communication, keeping your pets happy, and Grey is an amazing playmate! We will be booking again either for trips or whenever we need a break from our dogs. I highly recommend Mel <3”

“Jessie is the most amazing sitter she is so attentive to your pet. She pays close attention to his eating and bathroom. She does everything possible to comfort him and pet him. Her care is beyond and above any I have ever heard about. She even made him treats and special food. Amazing!”

“Tater had a blast at Poria’s house! Poria gave daily updates with multiple photos. Tater came back smelling even better than how I left her, lol. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Charles did an amazing job taking care of Kenji. From daily updates and photos to ensuring Kenji had walks and playtime. Kenji got along well with Knox, who is a Dalmatian as well. Kenji was happy when I returned, and it was a huge relief to know he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Charles for anyone needing a dependable and caring dog sitter!”

“Courtney was amazing when she watched my two girls!! She played with them and gave them lots of love so I felt at ease having her in my house taking care of my cats. She even tidied up around my house a little which was a huge help given my stressful travels. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter or cleaning person! Thank you Courtney!!”

“Michelle made being away from home an absolute breeze, I usually leave my cats with friends for the weekend but I just moved and haven’t been able to find anyone I know. Grateful for someone that was able to provide me with updates and check in on anything needed each visit. The communication was great and I hope to be able to have her check in on my pets anytime I’m out of town!”
“It was our first time using Kelsey and she was absolutely wonderful. Our animals are a bit difficult with their needs and its really hard to find someone who actually cares about their well being and I can truly say Kelsey has a heart of gold and made sure everything was as we left it and each animal had what they needed. So grateful and absolutely recommend!”

About: I have had many many cats of my own over the years, and have 4 litters worth of kitten experience! (Including labor, monitoring mother and babies during and after birth, making sure babies latch, gain enough weight). But outside of baby season, I am an orange kitty lover with one of my own as well as a Turkish Angora, and Sphynx. With that being said, I know how to brush a cats coat (or bathe lack thereof!) I have administered ear drops, chews, pills, syringes, anything you can think of for felines!
“Haley was fantastic! She kept me posted and shared a few cute pics of my little guy with each visit, which made this nervous mama feel a lot more comfortable! We would definitely work with Haley in the future!”

About: My husband and I are both retired and love opening up our home to pets, to give them the home away from home feeling. We also love going to visit pets and have a part in making them happy while their owner is away. No pet should be left alone for long periods of time and we feel they get much more attention in a private home then in a kennel. We do not have a fenced yard but we love taking them out doors with their lease. We have been watching friends dogs since we have been married (8yrs) and I have watched pets for friends over 20 years. We have recently lost our baby who was 15 yrs old and we want to share our love for animals with others, Codi was a diabetic so we are use to giving shots to pets. We do plan on taking vacations ourselves and know how important it is to be able to leave knowing that your pet is being care for and loved. I have been doing Pet sitting for over 20 years look forward to giving your pets a home away from home. We have a big yard and love going out side with the pets we watch so we can be with them at all times . Want to make sure they feel loved and wanted. Being my husband and I are both retired and home during the day we have extra time to give a lot of extra love to your pet Love is a BIG thing in our home and we want to make sure our home is safe and a happy place for your pets. We are retired now and spend most of our time at home and looking for a pet to give our love to . After losing our own baby a few months ago we look forward to caring for others When the pets are taken out side we prefer to go with them and stay outside with them. This also give them time to run and enjoy the outdoors. Being that we both are retired, we are home pretty much all day except for maybe going to grocery store or maybe a doctor appt here and there. We treat each dog like they are ours and want them to feel at home when they are away from their real home, and love spending time with them

“Our pups had an awesome time at their daycare date with Payton and her pups! Payton was prompt in her responses, punctual, open with her communication, and great with managing our crazy puppy as well as our older dog while we were away for the day. Her dogs are also all very sweet and playful. Definitely would recommend!”

About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). I can do any weekday besides Wednesday afternoons. I can do most times on the weekends unless I have a prior engagement planned. I can do Christmas/Winter Break, but I will be away for Thanksgiving this year. I have a fenced-in yard and have plenty of room for housing your pet as there are no other pets in the house currently. The neighborhood is very safe and has walking paths for walking pets. I am also happy to drop in or stay at your home if that is more comfortable for your pet (or you)!
“Ms. Ronda was Awesome! She took good of my dog even trained her. This was the 1st morning I woke up with my dog not barking to go outside. This was my 1st time using her and it will definitely not be my last. I highly recommend Ms. Ronda. Thank you”

“Laura took excellent care of my girl Lucy. She kept me updated throughout the day with comments and pictures. It was obvious Lucy enjoyed herself. I will be sure to ask Laura to care for Lucy or her sister and brother Gretta and Hawk in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m Avery—an experienced animal handler, lifelong dog lover, and amateur eventer based in Aiken, SC. I’ve spent my life around animals, from growing up in a pet-loving household to training young horses and competing in three-phase equestrian events. I adore both dogs and cats and understand how to care for animals of all personalities—from energetic to reserved. Working with animals has taught me patience, instinct, and how to calmly manage a wide range of temperaments. My two dogs, Blake and Peanut, are well-trained and social. Blake is the gentle leader—friendly and confident—while Peanut is sweet, a little shy, and loves snuggling once he warms up. Together, they help set a calm, welcoming tone for visiting pets. I’ve also volunteered with rescue groups like the S.A.V.E. Coalition (Houston, TX) and the Medfield Animal Shelter, where I fostered and rehabilitated Luna, an abused special-needs Pit Bull. Whether your dog or cat is high-energy, reactive, senior, or shy, I take the time to understand their needs and tailor care accordingly. Why Choose Me? • Experienced with dogs, cats, horses, and rescue animals • Calm, responsible, and attentive to individual pet needs • Communicative, dependable, and flexible • Pets in my care are treated like family Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits As someone with a flexible, work-from-home schedule, I offer mid-day dog walks and drop-in visits—perfect for keeping your pets happy, exercised, and cared for while you’re at work or away. These are a great option for regular support and can easily fit into my daily routine between meetings. Whether your pup needs a potty break, playtime, or a quick check-in and meal, I’ve got it covered. My Home & Care Style Blake and Peanut have free roam of our home and securely fenced yard, but I always supervise guest pets closely until I understand their comfort level. I provide a structured routine with room for play, relaxation, enrichment, and quiet time. If your pet prefers their own space, I make sure that’s respected. Before You Book I’ll ask about your pet’s routines, personality, medical needs, and quirks to ensure their care mirrors what they’re used to. I want them to feel as comfortable as they do at home. Let’s Connect! Whether you need a one-time drop-in, consistent walking help, or full pet sitting, I’d love to be part of your pet’s routine. Reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet—I’m excited to welcome your pet into a calm, loving environment. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I’m available on weekdays between meetings and for full-time care on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I genuinely love doing it. I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized dogs—Blake and Peanut—who provide great company. I closely supervise introductions and can crate your dog if needed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I tailor each dog’s care to their personality and needs.
“My little guy enjoyed his time with Kim. We were visiting the area for an afternoon/ early evening visit with family and just needed a couple hours of sitter time … and Kim was very accommodating. She made our visit worry fear. Bryce returned to us and didn’t skip a beat.”

About: I have 25 years of experience as a pet sitter being self-dubbed the "overnight queen" as I specialize in overnight stays of any length. The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!
About: I have always had a passion for loving and caring for animals. I am working on a change of career and want to earn extra income and hope to slowly transition to being able to do more through Rover. I have grown up with animals and have cared for everything from a duck to a horse. My grandparents owned a farm and I took care of and trained the horses and also caref for the dog and cats on the farm. I also have fostered through the Humane Society to help dogs and cats find their furever home. I can't wait to get to know your fur baby and help you with their care and everyday life. I love walking around at parks and certain trails. I can stay in the neighborhood, as well, if preferred. Let me know if they have a favorite treat or particular way they like to walk or play. I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old who loves all animals. This will give her the opportunity to socialize with more animals. This will also provide more opportunities to teach her responsibility through watching how I care for animals. I usually check the pets water and food, if asked. I give medicine the ones who need it. For dogs, I usually include a short walk so they can potty or let them out into their yard. For cats, I’ll try to engage in play for a little bit so they can get some exercise in, as well.

“Very pleasant young lady. Took excellent care of my little girl cotton. Thanks for the picture updates!!! They put my mind at ease. This was my first time using Rover and thanks to Nahla it won’t be my last!!!”

About: Hello! I’ve been a dog sitter for over 12 years now. From assisting with the birth of puppies and kittens, to helping our older babies get out of their bed, and holding their paw while they take their last breaths, I’ve done it all. I truly have a passion for animals and want to provide them with the best life possible. After all, they are our best friends! I have experience with epileptic, pregnant and in heat, sick, physically disabled, and as I mentioned, new borns and older dogs! I have a very open schedule! I’m free in the mornings, nights, middle of the day, and on weekends. whenever you need me, I’m here! I never let the dogs out without a leash at my house, no matter how experienced they are with the area or how well they listen. Their safety is my biggest priority. Let me know your preferences and guidelines to follow!
About: Family has relied on me for all pet needs. I’ve helped with sitting, potty breaks, feeding and walking. Or even just to keep their fur babies company. I work remotely with the ability to adapt my schedule as needed for pet care. I would love to take care of your sweet baby! We have a huge front and back yard for exercise and play. We have 1 dog who would be a great playmate for your baby! We also have 3 children that love animals and would provide great companionship.
“Hillary was great. My dogs had a good day and came home tired. They got to run and play ball. She even cut their nails which they never let me do but let her. She is great with them.”

About: I have worked with animals all my life from livestock to exotics. I have a degree in wildlife and love animals. I can ensure a safe loving space for your pets while you are away! I am currently a stay at home mom of a 6 year old son with more than enough time to spend with your fur babies. I have a large fenced in backyard and plenty of playmates for your fur baby. My dogs are very open to new animals and enjoy playing with new friends. I also have two cats, two ferrets, and a parakeet.
About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.
“Natalie was great! I brought my dog for daycare multiple days per week for 4 weeks and she was well cared for. Natalie was responsive and very kind. I will book her again if I need doggie daycare again.”

About: I have been caring for a variety of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rodents and horses since I was 12 years old. Since then I have fully trained my own dog to do basic tasks but also to “find” things (such as an inhaler for my mom) and stand with her back to my calves if we are in crowded areas. I am always learning new ways to better care for pets and new tricks for my own dog! I have just graduated from university so I am currently searching for a full-time job in my field. That means for now I am completely free to help out with pets whether that means walking, drop in visits, or house sitting. If I am coming over to housesit I will likely be at the house for the majority of the day and stay over at night too (or whatever the owner requests.) I am completely flexible and open to negotiation.

I will provide intensive home care to geriatric dogs with complex health needs, including cancer, seizures, tracheomalacia, and diabetes. I have experience with puppy training and caring for adult dogs of all sizes. I have also cared for cats, lizards, turtles, horses, and a variety of fish! Whatever your pet care needs are, I’m certain I can take good care of your furry family. I work full time Monday through Wednesday, and am available for pet care Thursday through Sunday with flexible hours including early mornings to late evening. I prefer to meet your pets before the first appointment, so that I can see their environment and be familiar with their daily routine in order to best care for them.

About: I treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal is to provide more than just pet sitting, and I create a loving, comfortable environment where dogs feel safe, happy, and cared for until their family returns. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I make time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and affection they need. Caring for animals is something I look forward to, and I enjoy creating a safe, loving environment where pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean and safe, follow any special instructions from the owner, and provide regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.
About: I have had some sort of pet since I was 6 - gerbils, dogs, cats, fish, turtles! My husband and I currently have 2 fur babies and they are treated as our children! I have experience with sweet and cuddly dogs as well as small aggressive dogs (my shih tzu Wally). I am very relaxed and easy going and will provide top tier care for your babies. I work Monday through Thursday. I am pretty much available every weekend and plan out of town events ahead of time. I am also pretty good with short notice. My husband and I live in a newly established subdivision with plenty of sidewalks. We have a fenced in backyard and 2 doggies at home.
About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. I have grown up with all sizes and types of dogs and cats as well as other animals such as reptiles. Taking care of animals fills me with a sense of joy and love that you can't get anywhere else. I have a cat of my own that I take care of every single day as well as helping my partner take care of our dog and their 2 cats. I will not be bringing pets to my home, as I do not have a home adequate for pet sitting. Thank you so very much. I have my adorable loving cat that I take care of daily! I make sure he gets exercise, he has water, and his food it good to go. Weekly little box cleanings and bowl cleanings. I make sure that I take care of my pet and others pets by following the rules and guidelines that have been set forth in front of me. Whether that be your basic care for the animal or a person's personal preferences on how they would prefer their pets to be cared for.
About: I have been around dogs all my life. I worked as a dog walker at the county shelter. I used to show dogs in the AKC. I am currently taking master trainer course to become a certified dog trainer in order to start my own dog training business. Most of my experience with dogs has been in behavior modification and basic obedience. I have plenty of time to care for your animals. It doesn't matter if it is during the week or the weekend I can usually make it work. I make sure the animal is comfortable with me when I enter his or her home. I always bring treats and make sure the clients home is left the same way I found it.

Amazing!”

“Our experience with Brandi & her husband watching our dog was excellent! She keeps you updated throughout each day and sends pictures and videos! My dog had other playmates as well as a variety of toys to choose from. Her home was very kept and clean considering the dogs had access to the entire home. It is very impressive and I don’t know how she does it. Will definitely ask her to watch our dog again in the future, thanks again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Emily made the process really easy! Our dog Lola had so much fun. Emily sent pictures and updates and took such good care of our girl!”

“Payton took great care of our baby while we were out of town. She was very communicative and sent us lots of updates with pictures. We felt at ease that our pup was being cared for well.”
