Her 3-year-old absolutely loved him, which was one of the sweetest parts of the whole experience. Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. I have a strong and intuitive bond w/ cats and I understand their unique and diverse personalities, as well as their diverse levels of care. About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. Please feel free to reach out for more information. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

I do not crate any dogs in my care unless requested. Meet my pets I have two dogs. An 8yr old Maltese named Charlie. He loves to play and he could play all day long. He's full of energy and gets along with all breeds/sizes. I also have a lab mix his name is Jesse and he is 11 yrs old. He is also very sweet and gets along great with his little brother and every dog he comes in contact with. About my yard I live in an townhome with a gated backyard with grass. There are couches that the dogs love to lay on. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medications to dogs. I have experience administering pills and eye medication. I took care of a very ill dog for close to 2yrs. I have experience treating eye conditions as well. I work from home with an extremely flexible schedule. I make my own hours so I have plenty of time to care for your furbaby. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs that would love to play with your pup. I could also separate my dogs if necessary. If your dog is being crate trained, I could accommodate that as well.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.
