I had never left my kitten at another house before, so she allowed me to do a little day care for free before the actual dates I was gone to allow him to get used to the environment which was so nice. She also had two very sweet but super active dogs and a friendly cat. My kitty is pretty chill and adjusted well but I could see all of the other animals (especially the dogs) potentially being a lot for a skiddish/anxious animal to handle. About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

“Angela is a gem!!!! She took excellent care with our special needs dog! Dax requires a lot of medication and special foods because of his PLE disease. She and her family welcomed Dax, he was treated as one of their own. I would highly recommend Angela to care for your fur baby. We plan to schedule with her again when we travel.”

“Stephanie was great! She was really good about communicating with me and responded quickly. When I had a timing mix-up she was flexible and worked around my schedule. I had never left my kitten at another house before, so she allowed me to do a little day care for free before the actual dates I was gone to allow him to get used to the environment which was so nice. She also had two very sweet but super active dogs and a friendly cat. My kitty is pretty chill and adjusted well but I could see all of the other animals (especially the dogs) potentially being a lot for a skiddish/anxious animal to handle. At the end of the day I got Kuzco back a very happy cat and I would definitely trust her to watch him again :) Thank you!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have also opened my home to many foster pets throughout the years amd finding great homes for them. I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups throughout the day as I'm retired and home all day. From walks to snuggles and playtime I have a fence yard and friendly dogs of all ages to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well
