“Her and her family were amazing!! Leayn sent me a ton of photos and updates, and our dogs had a blast hanging out with her. She has a big fenced in yard, and the sweetest dog to help keep our pups entertained. She gave them baths the day we picked them up, and even made us puppy paw paintings for Valentine’s Day! Highly recommend her for well-rounded care!”

“Autumn is possibly the best dog sitter we've ever had! We were nervous about finding a sitter for our new puppy, but Autumn answered all of our questions and made sure we were 100% comfortable. Autumn and her family treated our puppy like she was part of their family. Our dog has some separation anxiety, but at Autumns house she wasn't anxious at all! We got frequent photo and video updates. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, loving, and safe environment for their pet.”

“Ashley did an amazing job with Raven. I appreciate that she made sure Raven was comfortable with all the 2 and 4 legged friends. The pictures and videos were also great!”

“Selena was very attentive to one of our special-needs dogs. We always feel that our dogs are safe with her and she does a great job. They seem very happy while they are with her!”

“Sarah was very accommodating to my last minute care need. My girl is very anxious around other people but she was comfortable around Sarah from the first meeting. My girl enjoyed her day and I would definitely recommend Sarah to care for your fury babies!”

“The first time I met Melissa, I knew our fox terrier, Hershey ♥️ would be in good hands. Melissa is kind, caring, responsible and sends daily pictures with updates. She has a beautiful fenced in yard. I highly recommend Melissa♥️”

“Alyssa was absolutely wonderful with our dog. During her stay, we got plenty of updates and pictures. Our dog was on a bit of medication during her stay and Alyssa had no problem administering it to her daily and at the correct times. It was so good to know our girl was loved and cared for while we were away.”

“We’ve tried several dog sitters and are so happy we found Kaylene! We felt we made the right decision immediately. Our dog was well cared for with lots of love and hugs. Will rebook again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Taylor, while her and her family watched our dog, Hopper! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely comfortable knowing he was in great hands. They took excellent care of him, gave him plenty of attention, and kept us updated while we were away. It was obvious that Hopper was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. We will definitely use them again! 🐾❤️”

“Ashley was amazing! She was able to book me last minute. As most pet parents my Benny is my baby and as soon as we arrived Benny was excited to go inside (tho he’s never been there). Ashley made me and my dog feel so much at ease and comfortable. If you need someone you can trust with your fur baby I HIGHLY recommend Ashley! Quick to respond and made the whole process so easy. I would rebook with Ashley everytime. Thank you so much for helping me!”

“We fee so lucky to have found Shana on Rover. She took such great care of Dora, our senior dog. Dora has some cognitive dysfunction and has special needs, so we were very nervous about finding someone to watch her. Shortly after meeting Shana, we knew Dora would be in good hands. I can’t imagine anyone caring for her as well as Shana did. We highly recommend Shana and would definitely use her services again without hesitation.”

“Sami had the time of her life! Sami went on a bike ride, walk to the beach, and a trip to the marina! She was so happy. Karen provided lots of pictures and updates on Sami’s visit. Karen was wonderful to me and Sami. She was so accommodating. I will definitely book Karen again. She’s a fabulous sitter!”

“William was great he took care of our baby and took him to the beach and to the park and dealt with him howling and stuff . Really appreciate everything would highly recommend. William took our booking last minute due to moving situations which helped us so much ! Provided us with pictures and everything. Our dog is not the easiest to deal with but he managed to take care of him !”

“Fernanda took wonderful care of both of our dogs in her home. They were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when I picked them up. She communicated consistently throughout their stay, which gave me great peace of mind, and she was extremely dependable from start to finish. I would absolutely trust her with our dogs again and highly recommend her to others.”

“Megan and her family were great. They treated my dog very well. Even when I had to stay for an extra day on my trip, they cooked for my dog and fed him. I recommend Megan. She is great!”

“Edra was such a blessing of a find. I was very nervous to have to leave my dog with a stranger while vacationing in Hilton Head. I chose Edra because of her reviews and the calm environment and attention she is able to provide. She showed so much genuine care to my dog, and also to me as I was very nervous. She sent so many photo updates throughout the stay, and was always quick to reply. She stuck to my dog’s schedule and was more than accommodating with her. I could tell from the drop off as well as the photo updates that she was comfortable and well taken care of. I wish Edra lived closer to me so I could use her any time I go out of town and need a dog sitter, but I will definitely reach back out any time I am going back to Hilton Head. 10/10 she is so great! I highly recommend Edra to care for your pet.”

“Madison was fantastic with Lizzie and was very accommodating with arranging both pick-up and drop-off locations. Her communication was great, and she sent me photos of Lizzie while she kept her. I highly recommend Madison, and would definitely have her keep Lizzie on any future visit to the Hilton Head area.”

“Elaine did another excellent job looking after my two cats! She even took extra time to get to know the shy one and to clean up a few unpleasant messes from the not-so-shy one.”

“Very thoughtful and appreciative of how she watches my boys! She was even able to befriend my extremely timid cat which shows just how cool of a person she is. My boys love it so far every time Taylor watches them!”

“Highly recommended! We adopted a young cat about 7 months ago and have only been away from her for 2 days in that time. We had booked a 2 week trip before we adopted her and I was very nervous about leaving her for that long. Stephanie came 2X daily, played with her, gave her loving in addition to the feeding, litter box cleaning, plant watering, taking out garbage, etc. The daily reports were informative and my mind was put at ease right away. When Stephanie stopped by to return the key, Patches was happy to see her and it was easy to see that Patches was happy to see her.”

“Allison was fantastic with our cats. Very patient since their scaredy cats. LOL. She had no problem giving our older cat his medicine. She was wonderful about updating us with everything that went on with them. She's very sweet and we'd love for her continue to work for us whenever needed ♥️”

“Alonnie is great! She's a great communicator and sent plenty of pictures of our fur babies while we were away. I would definitely recommend her and we will be booking with her again.”

“Caroline, took such good care of our cats, Dude and Chloe. She kept in contact when needed and our cats were not even bothered we were gone, she gave them so much love! Caroline was super sweet and kind really looking forward to working with her in the future!! Thanks :)”

“Emily is such a Sweetheart and very attentive. She has a genuine love for dogs. From the second I met her, l knew she would be wonderful. She even walked the dog walking route with me during the meet and greet!! I can tell from the pics that the dogs enjoyed seeing her and would anxiously wait for her. I will definitely ask for her services again!”

About: From ages 6 to 11 I would walk to my grandparents house almost every day and feed/ keep their two small dogs company. My family has always had larger dogs since I can remember, so I have plenty of experience with that too! Currently, I have 2 dogs and a cat, all rescues, and I spend all of my free time with them. My love for animals has always been a strength and a weakness, as I’m sure many animal lovers will understand. As far as current experience, I hold a part time job but would love to make this a big part of my life/ schedule and hopefully have some regulars! I value trust and loyalty, which is why I’m a great choice for all the animal lovers out there. I’ve done some on and off dog sitting this past year for family, friends, and coworkers, but I am hoping to broaden my audience now! As I mentioned, I have a part time job with a very flexible schedule, so I am available to come and pet sit overnight, or drop in occasionally to walk and feed! I am open and understanding of all ways someone may want their pets to be taken care of, especially in their own home, so I will be careful of any boundaries and preferences!
“She was awesome! Sent pics of my pups each visit. Great with communication, she updated me on everything and was very professional. Came back to very happy pups. 10/10 Definitely recommend using her. ?”

About: I’ve personally loved and cared for numerous fur and scaly children throughout the vast majority of my life, whether it’s reptiles, dogs, or cats, I have owned and loved each and every one of them. I currently have 2 dogs, a highly energetic and jumpy Black Labrador Retriever Mix (Rutt Butt), and an equally energetic, but 26x more friendly and goofy Pittie Mix (Roofie Doofie). I also have two cats, one loves people and dogs, and the other just loves me and the dogs (terrified of new people). I also have a male Bearded Dragon named Groot, and a baby Sulcatta Tortoise named Oogway! That is the list of who I currently love and live with. I have been working with my Lab and Pittie mix with behavior training since the since the Rutt was a puppy and since I adopted Rufus in early 2025. I’ve consistently kept them structured with simple high energy break commands, long wait, increased food/treat drive, and all-around confidence and morale boost to any low self-esteem. I am currently working on Rover part time, so I will be devoting my days off from work to your pet(s) and their needs. I am wanting to grow this into my own personal side-business as there is nothing that I consider better, than a well-trained pet under high stress environments. I have 2 overly and aggressively friendly dogs. Rutt and Rufus are some of the biggest sweethearts when it comes to meeting new people as well as new furry friends. Rutt has lived with cats his entire life, and Rufus took a bit, but he is finally completely indifferent to life with cats and loves to play with everyone! All owners and their dogs during boardings, or play dates, have to plan for atleast a 30min to an hour meet and greet and orientation so that both yours and my needs are met during visits. I am always in control during the situations, such as I am ever-vigilant of slight non verbal cues and projections yours and my pets put off in order to blossom a happy and stimulating and playful environment. I currently have a house in the Burton area with a beautiful and quaint neighborhood loop well away from all major highways and roadways. I also have about 20-30 acres that are heavily wooded with some managed trails throughout behind my house that I will be more than happy to explore with your pets taking them through for enrichment and training. I will also be in total touch with you as an owner, and me as a sitter. I know that I would love to have pictures and videos of my pet’s life throughout their day with someone new, and I would be more than willing to send you pictures and videos through Snapchat, text, or however you prefer. I encourage the youth and playfulness of each pet and I hope they can achieve their potential. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine. I have two dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon, and a sulcatta tortoise. Each of my wonderful animals have different daily needs and requirements that I strive to meet so they can be the happiest animals and meet their full potential. I have 0.5acres of open backyard that is pushed up to about 20 acres of woodlands directly behind my house. I take my own animals on daily enrichment walks through the forest to aide them in their confidence and better their motor skills.

“Leayn was absolutely amazing! I needed a last-minute sitter for my old, deaf dog while I was in a meeting. He fit right in, and loved his time with her and the other dogs she was sitting. Thanks Leayn!”

“Karen was fantastic with our pup! Our little fluff's wagging tail was very happy to go to her house everyday and a pleasantly tired pup when I picked her up. I can tell she is is dog obsessed which is exactly want I want in a dog sitter! We will definitely be re-booking. Thanks Karen!”

“Fernanda was super sweet and attentive with Murphy. She was very good with communication before during and after his day care visit. Fernanda sent pictures during his stay and he was very relaxed and happy. I recommend her for your fur baby too.”

“I traveled down from Maryland last minute for an unfortunate loss in my family. Everything happened so quickly that I didn't gave time to make arrangements for Bear, my 6 month old Cavapoo who had literally just gotten neutered a few days prior. After my 9 hour drive I prayed and hopped on Rover. God led me to Ashley and I have no regrets. Her home was beautiful and fulled with pictures of her sweet young family. She was so kind and Bear settled in immediately. I will definitely use her services again!!!!”

“Frank took wonderful care of our anxious (but sweet) Bernedoodle puppy, Mia. Mia absolutely loved him and it was huge peace of mind to know she was in good hands. Frank was kind, professional, and communicative. We would absolutely have him take care of our dog again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone!”

“We are very grateful for Emily. She provided daycare for our dog last minute. Emily was really nice and easy to communicate with. She also sent pictures of our dog who appeared healthy and happy in all of them. When we picked up our dog, she was her normal self and was clearly well cared for!”

About: Before we had kids, we would dog sit up to four dogs at a time in our home. Now that our kids are old enough and understand how to care for and respect dogs we feel comfortable bringing kid friendly and potty trained dogs into our home. We’re all excited to love on your pup! Julie homeschools our children so they are home a majority of the day. If your pup is destructive or a chewer, please bring a crate for when they have to leave the house. We intend to love and care for your dog just as we love and care for Penny. We work together as a family to ensure your pets needs are met throughout the day and night.

About: I have always had a pet in my life, and I love animals! I want to make sure you have peace of mind when you're away and that your baby has a great day :) Thank you for considering me! I am a dog mom to a chill border collie and a sassy cocker spaniel. By day, I am a romantic comedy author and a graphic designer, so my schedule is flexible and I’d love to spend some time with your fur baby/babies 🐶 My cocker spaniel would appreciate it too. lol. I want to work with you to make sure your pet is given the best possible care! I work from home so I am happy to come to you or share my home with your fur baby :) I will do everything possible so that your pet is comfortable and feels safe in their environment. “Ashley was so sweet to my Winnie! We couldn’t ask for better - so very thankful for her doting on her and sending numerous pictures and updates. Thank you, Ashley! We would recommend her to anyone!!!”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. From the pups I grew up with to my soul dog Lacey, who has inspired this Rover journey. Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend trip or a daily walk, I’ve got you (and your best friend) covered ✔️ I am a proud & protective dog mama myself — when your pup is with me, you can trust they will be cared for as my own. I know just how important it is to feel confident when leaving a member of the family in someone else’s hands and I take that responsibility to heart 🫶🏼
“Rich and Dee were so wonderful with our dog, Staley. I felt super comfortable leaving her with them for the day. Communication was excellent (before, during and after) and they were super accommodating even when I booked last minute. She was tired and happy when I picked her up from a day of fun. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them to help care for our dog again!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a home without them. I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, and even had the privilege of working with service animals. My four pups are truly like my children, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to love and care for your dog just like you would. Whether it’s belly rubs, long walks, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your furry family member as if they were my own. I recently transitioned from a career in law enforcement in Tennessee to becoming a stay-at-home mom as I follow my husband, who proudly serves as an active duty Marine. I also continue to serve in the Army Reserves. Together we have four beautiful kids (with one more on the way!), and our home is always full of love, laughter, and wagging tails. Shifting from 12-hour swing shifts to more time at home has been a big change, but it’s given me the wonderful opportunity to spend more time caring for sweet fur babies. Safety and trust are my top priorities when it comes to caring for dogs. I treat every pup the same way I do my own four—like family. My dogs are never left unsupervised outside, always have access to fresh water, and are on a regular feeding and exercise schedule to keep them happy and healthy. I’m attentive to their needs, whether that means keeping a close eye on playtime, sticking to routines, or giving extra cuddles when they need comfort. You can feel confident knowing I’ll provide the same level of love, structure, and protection for your dog as I do for mine.
About: Hello, I'm excited to welcome your fur buddy into our home. We will love them as our very own and keep them happy while your away. I've owned dogs since I was in elementary and have provided care for my family and friends. I work a flexible, hybrid schedule which makes it convenient to be available care for our fur guest. I'm off every weekend and will have a laid back daily routine for them. Walks, playtime, outside play and of course snuggles. I will accommodate each and every pups needs. I have a very safe home. Our back yard is fenced in with tons of running and exploring space. I will NOT keep aggressive dogs. If you know your dog is aggressive and doesn't get along with other dogs, please do not choose me. I have to ensure the safety for all of my babies. (Pups) As an extra precaution I ask for an updated picture of your dog's shots record. This provides transparency for all parties. I want to make sure that all if my babies are safe and healthy at all times.

About: My personal experience outside of owning my own dogs would be working as a kennel tech for a small country pet hotel & I was a pet care technician at a luxury pet hotel locally. I fell in love with dogs specifically when I worked for a Pekinese/Pomeranian breeder.. they were such sweet creatures & why I fell in love with the small dog types. I gained confidence with larger breeds in higher volume I worked at the luxury pet resort. We also had dogs that were of ages 10 and above, as well as dogs that preferred a more private setting. Big dogs are my favorite, especially Bernese Mountain Dogs. I own a German Shepherd/Malamute mix and a Border Collie mix! 6 & 5 years old. Whatever your dog needs, I get it done. We could walk for miles, throw ball, or just simply get some good belly rubs. I work at a restaurant part time but the dream would be to work with animals full time. Besides taking care of my own animals, pet care is life. I am extremely respectful towards any animal when entering their dwelling! Food, water, making sure there’s no messes around, cleaning up said messes. Thank you

I also spent some time after college working at a reputable doggie daycare up in Maine where I’m originally from. I am a passionate animal advocate and promise to treat your pet with the same care and compassion that I show my own babies! ❤️ There is no request too odd or too specific. I tailor my services to your pets individual needs and strive to make their time away from you as seamless as possible. I currently work from home so depending on proximity, can do morning, lunch, dinner and evening drop in visits. My schedule is flexible, however I do work from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. I always try to do a meet and greet prior so you can show me exactly how your pet should be cared for. I will follow your instructions very closely and am willing to make whatever adjustments needed during their time with me. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible. I can promise you they will be safely supervised and spoiled under my care!

In your home I will be sure to make sure their bowls are cleaned and they are provided fresh water. I will be sure to clean up any mess they have made while under my care. I will play with them and make them feel loved!

“Nakita was awesome! She made sure we were comfortable dropping off our fur babies. We did a meet and greet and were pleased. Followed up with the booking. She was flexible with the drop off and pick up times, she had kennels size appropriate for my big boy. She has a fenced in yard and she has two little boys that are just adorable. She sent pics and videos everyday. They were always happy when with her. The dogs spent a week and were treated like part of her family. Thank you so much for the great work!”

“Luna was so happy during her stay. I could tell by her demeanor when I picked her up that she was comfortable. I will definitely trust Luna with them again without a doubt.”

“John opened up his home for our previous pup for the first time last week. He and his family (including their 2 Pups) were responsive to her care. We received daily updates, pictures and videos showing how comfortable she was with their love and care. Their dogs readily accepted her and played and cuddled together. We will use John again and recommend him without reservation!”

“Julie was great! She was very responsive and accommodating. My dog seemed to have a lot of fun with Julie and her family. She periodically sent photos and updates regarding how my dog was doing. She was accommodating when my flight got delayed, and Django had to stay another night. I look forward to another stay with Julie.”
