Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. “My husband and I were extremely pleased with the services Emily provided and will definitely be using her again when the need arises. During the meet-and-greet, both Bobo and Ellie, my cats, were reluctant to come out of their safe places, which is normal when they encounter new people. However, based on Emily’s photos and videos, they warmed up to her on the first drop-in visit. Emily was always punctual and spent the entire remaining time playing with Bobo and Ellie after feeding and litter box duty. The videos show they both absolutely adored Emily and soaked in the attention they received from her. Emily gave twice daily summaries about feedings, litter box patrol, and playtime. She also accompanied the summaries with pictures and videos of Bobo and Ellie to reassure me they were just fine. Emily is definitely an asset to the Rover company! I can help with dogs (basic routines and leash walking) and I’m patient with senior pets who need a little extra care. About: I have grown up with and owned cats and dogs all of my life, I absolutely love cats and dogs, all animals for that matter. So in case you have another animal as well as the dogs, I am totally and completely willing to watch and take care of them as well. I am very good with instructions on how to take care of them in a certain way if you please. I will show them so much love and compassion, I will snuggle with them, and play with them until they’re satisfied or have no more energy left. I always make sure they go outside for potty breaks every so often. I will always make sure they are fed enough and if so fed the amount the owner desires. Don’t fret while all the dogs are out together they will be under supervision to make sure that no disagreements happen! Safety comes first then of course cuddles and play! We do have various farm animals as we are making our own little homestead to be more self sufficient. All dogs are heavily monitored to protect the safety of all animals and hasn’t been a issue but just so we can make you aware before dropping off.

About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). About: Hello. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals. As a child I rescued stray cats, dogs, and different wildlife. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. As a biology student who hopes to become a veterinarian, I’m passionate about giving every pet the love, patience, and attention they deserve. I’m currently available most days and have a flexible schedule, so I can make time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and feeding. I’ll always communicate with you and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, keep them in a safe environment, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I’ll also send updates and pictures so you can have peace of mind.
About: Hi! As an owner of a spoiled hound dog and a cat of my own, I can't wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like one of my own. I have trained my own dogs and continued to teach them into their senior years. Sometimes we need help with our pets so while you're away I'll make sure that your pets receive the same love and care that my pets have for years. I'll be happy to exercise your dog or feed and pet kitty while you're busy. Ask me about other animals too! Let me know any special instructions to make you and your furry friend happy. About: I’ve always loved dogs and cats, I’ve been taking care of my own animals for as long as I can remember. Looking to help others in need as well I only work in the morning from 6am - 12pm Sometimes I get done earlier, and if I have a scheduled walk or sitting I am able to reschedule my jobs I will care for your pet in any way you want me to. Treat them as if they were my own. I am reliable treat each animal with respect understanding that every animal is different!
About: I’ve had dogs as pets all of my life! Big dogs, small dogs aged from 6wks -11years old! Dogs are more than just a pet to me, they are family! I’m currently working full time from 8:30 am - 5 pm! I am available weekends and during the week operating around my work schedule! I also have a 4 year old son! I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs who love to play! I can crate if needed inside the home! Your pets are allowed to stay inside!
About: I have been a pet owner all of my life and there is a special joy and comfort that only a dog or cat can give us! I think it is important for our pets to get daily exercise to keep them happy and healthy. I'm an avid fitness enthusiast and I love all animals so getting your dog out of the house for daily walks is the perfect fit for both me and your furry friend! It's a great way for your dog to release that playful energy while strengthening their health as well. Playtime is also important in keeping our pets happy and friendly! Getting out and throwing balls, frisbees, sticks, etc is one of my favorite things to do with my own dogs and it's another great form of exercise for your pup! All animals are precious and deserve all the love and care that they can get and I consider it a privilege for me to help you provide that for your furry family member!! I'm currently volunteering part-time which allows me a more flexible schedule which in turn makes it easier to accommodate to the scheduling needs of my Rover clients!! Every one of our beloved pets are different with wonderful, unique personalities of their own! I always offer and recommend a meet and greet to get to know you & your fuzzy friends & vise versa...as well a to taylor each visit to your pet's unique individual needs! (Eg, important medical information, personality quirks or anxites, etc) My goal is to create a dream vacation experience for your furry loved one; Full of playful fun & exercise; cuddles & belly rubs; custom meal plans with your choice of treats & toys to their liking & potty breaks galore! I love & care for each of your furry family members as If they are my own, & as a pet parent myself, I know the importance of having peace of mind by trusting that they are safe and in good hands when you are away! It is my promise that by the end of every visit, walk, overnight stay, etc....that your pet will feel Happy, Healthy, Full, Loved, & worn out from Fun!!!!!
