My family dog growing up was born deaf and with a thyroid condition so I am very familiar with medication admission or other disabilities. I am a loving, caring dog owner of 2 male dogs. 65 lb six year old Portuguese water dog named Jerry Garcia and 20 lb four year old Shitzu dog named Phil Lesh. Active dogs. Jerry loves to swim and play catch. Phil loves to chase geico and frogs, really any bug. Fenced in yard is completely safe and locked shut at all times. Great house for dog play. I have a separate room with a couch for the dogs. A TV in dog room. I play soundscapes music for a calming atmosphere. My husband and I live alone. I am retired. My husband works full-time and is home by 4pm each day. I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I take care of my grandson on my other available days. I stay at home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have a fenced in yard, with artificial turf. I do not have any crates. The dogs have amble space in the house. About: We are a military family, we’ve moved around quite a bit and have opened our home to so many dogs in so many different states. I have 3 kids who are used to animals (especially bigger dogs). We have a private yard (unfenced, leads and leashes used and always supervised). We recently welcomed a dog permanently into our home so we do have one female dog in the house, she is crated when needed and very friendly otherwise. I’m home all day and would love a buddy or two to join us from time to time! I only ask that dogs are kid friendly! We don’t mind animals on furniture but will adhere to any at home rules you may set (if you don’t allow them to do certain things at home, I won’t deter any training and let them do it here and vice versa!). Crate trained dogs are preferred but definitely not required! Just know a lot of dogs may do better in a new setting by having their own spaces to retreat to! I’m a stay at home mom, other than school drop off/pick up & errands, I’m home to care for pets in my home or visit a pet in their home We treat all pets like they're part of the family. When it comes to caring for pets, I'm all about creating a cozy, safe, fun environment for them. From belly rubs to fetch sessions, I'd make sure they feel right at home. About: I’ve had various pets all of my life and have been very hands on caring for them. I’ve had everything from horses, dogs and cats, and rabbits and guinea pigs. I also have experience working as a Veterinary technician at our local vet office. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! Dogs just want a safe loving life and that's what I intend to give them. I'm currently avaliable to help with your pets needs all day Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. If you need other availability, please let me know. I can easily crate your pet(s) in your home if needed. We would just talk with each other to make sure that we are in agreement with how you would like me to provide the service(s). I understand the importance to keep the routine that their owner has for them.
About: I have had animals in my life since I was a little girl. I am self employed and work from home, which blesses me with the freedom and flexibility to give both time and attention to your beloved. Between my husband and I there is almost always someone home to love and care for your furbabies. We know that your furbaby is more than a pet; that they are family. Know they will be well cared for and loved just like they are our very own. I've owned several animals from dogs, cats, chickens, pythons, gators, fish, birds...etc When I say I love animals, I love all animals. I've cared for and owned many dog breeds since I was a child from Mutts, Beagles, Labs, and a Chihuahua (who was trained like a lab). I've watched, and cared for other people's furry family members many times as well. I have also cared for special need pups such as high anxiety, trauma, stressed shelter pups, gave medication, and watched over elderly dogs. It's NO challenge to do what needs to be done to make sure ALL your loved ones great, small, and of different backgrounds, and personalities feel safe, secure, and loved. Since our beloved little dog passed we have chosen to not own any more but have plenty of love and attention to give to yours! We don't ever watch pups from different families unless owners tell us it's ok otherwise. So unless you say it's ok, rest assured that your pups will be the only one's in our care. Thank you for entrusting us with your beloved family member! We are both excited and honored to be able to give your sweet one's a mini vacation of their own while you're away. My husband and I are self employed and spend most of our time at home. While you're loved one is in our care, they will be our main focus and have all of our attention. We have a ton of space to be able to take great walks. Unfortunately it's not fenced so your pup will need to be leashed unless trained to not need one and personally told to not use one. We do our best to acclimate ourselves to each furbaby's personality. Some are super active so we make sure they get tons of playtime. If they are snugglers, they get lots of snuggles. If they like to just relax, then that's what we'll do. We just want any that are in our care to feel right at home.

About: I been around pets my whole life. I love walking dogs for exercise and being with animals. My fav time is to play fetch with dogs and to have a personal relationship with the pets I take care of. I have a fenced back yard that will keep your pet safe. and plenty of space outside and inside the house for them to run around and stay healthy. I have 2 kids in the house 13 years old and 15 years old.I have own 1 to 2 dogs at a time and in the past I owned cats, birds, fish. I live near shaw so military family's are welcome. Would love the opportunity to take care of your pet. I would love to have a chance to walk or run with your dog and have a fun time. WALKS MAINLY IN THE MORNINGS AND LATE AFTERNOONS. I'm off Sundays and Mondays and get off at 2:00 p.m. the other days, My wife and kids help me out if it's during the day I have a large fenced in yard to take care of your pets needs. I have many toys for the dogs to play with. I love playing with my dogs.
“We left our 7 month old English Cocker Spaniel, Bo, with Merrell while visiting family in town. He had never stayed with anyone else overnight so we were already a little anxious, but Merrell did a great job welcoming him in and making sure he was loved on. She kept us updated on his status and sent lots of pictures throughout his stay. It worked out well and we are already planning on booking with her again when we visit for Christmas.
