“Emily was awesome! She kept me updated daily with pictures and text messages. I felt very comfortable with leaving my dog while on vacation with Emily. I'm very pleased and will use her for the future.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for more than 25 years. I specialize in senior care for dogs as well as young adults . My dogs are both rescues . I’m currently semi-retired and your pet is my priority. I am available holidays and weekend's. I have two small dogs, they are gentle and like other dogs. I have a fully fenced yard, and a doggie door leading to my backyard. I can crate your dog if that is what you prefer.
“I had such a wonderful experience with Angela and Rick taking care of Koda! I was a little nervous about leaving him for two weeks, especially since he can get stressed in daycare, but she made the whole experience so much easier for me! She kept me updated regularly, sent me lots of pictures, and it was clear that Koda was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of love and attention. She was incredibly caring and attentive, and treated Koda like he was her own. Seeing how comfortable and happy he was with her gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely trust her with Koda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for their dog!”

“Received pictures almost daily from Sean, reporting on how my small dog Bentley was doing. I'm pleased with the care he received. He answered all my questions. He gave 2 different medicines daily that my dog needed, which I really appreciated. Bentley was safe in their fenced back yard and could climb on their sofa, which he likes to do.”

“Debbie was very kind and attentive to our Australian Shepard, Theo. Theo was returned to us super happy and healthy. I was sent daily pictures and updates, which was amazing. Thank you again Debbie!!”

“Ash was absolutely incredible. The constant updates on the site and immediate responses via text whenever I was checking in on Zoey. She even sent Zoey home with some homemade treats. I will definitely be using Ash a lot moving forward. Feels great to know you can be at ease when you're away and someone takes such great care of your pup.”

“Kimi is my first choice for someone to watch Kep. She has been fantastic for drop-in visits during a long work day, short overnights, as well as a longer stay while we went on vacation. Kep always comes home super happy. He is excited to go and "See Kimi". I know that she is an experienced dog/pet parent and I trust her judgment. She has systems in place to keep Kep safe and having fun. She also asks questions about what he is used to, and my preferences as a dog parent for his care. Always quick to communicate, and I love the updates on how he is doing. I would 100% recommend Kimi and will be asking her to watch Kep again!”

“Wendy and her family took amazing care of our little dog. She was very organized and responded quickly to my booking request and text messages. It’s so nice to go on vacation and know that your pet is well and happy.”

“Tara was great with Trapper. She was super flexible and easy to work with and sent several pics so we knew he was having fun and being well taken care of. We weren’t sure if he’d be ok playing with her dogs, but they were super sweet and immediately accepted him as part of the group. He had a blast while we were away.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! Growing up with my grandparents, we’ve had 5 dogs and 3 cats at one time. I’m not sure exactly what breed he is but is listed in my profile :) I am home full time, I have one dog that is my ESA and he goes outside when he wants to, has a morning and evening feeding schedule and I clip his nails & bathe him every other week. Dogs are allowed on furniture & bed. I have a mid-size fenced in backyard with turf grass, safe for pets to run around and play in. I have plenty of balls, toys, and bones for pets to chew, and plenty of treats!

About: Growing up I wanted to bring home every stray I saw and now, at the age of 27, I’m blessed to have been able to open my doors to 4 stray kittens, bringing my total to a whopping 7 cats. I suppose that may qualify me for a “crazy cat lady” title. I have experience with cats of all ages and temperaments, including behavioral issues and special needs kitties. One of my own is blind but has a big enough attitude to make up for it. I love spending one on one time with cats to really learn their funny little personalities, as they can all be so drastically different, and then tailor their care specifically towards each of them.

“Thank you for taking care of our kitties. Thank you for sending pictures of them interacting with you knowing that they had some attention made them happy. Thank you for doing a great job.”

“I can always count on Virginia when it comes to helping out and taking care of Nexus! The pictures and videos I received while I was away made my heart feel so much better. Nexus loves spending time with Virginia and I know she is in great hands! Definitely will rebook when needed!! 10/10!!”

“Samantha and Max took great care of my brother’s cats while we were away. They are kind and caring pet people. We knew we were in good hands with them. Thank you again, Sam and Max!”

“Graham has done stop-in visits for our sometimes ill-tempered Havanese this summer and she does a wonderful job. He is old and often cranky and she took on the challenge to bond with him. Lots of effort there. She is very flexible and reliable. Great communicator. Really love and appreciate having her.”

“Ash did a great job with our Schnauzer, Jack. She walked him regularly, made homemade treats for him and let him chill on her sofa. This was wonderful while we spent the day with great friends and was a great comfort to us, knowing that Jack was safe and happy. Highly recommend. Call Ash.”

“Sad Rover wouldn’t let me tip higher! We love Jennifer! We have used her for both over night boarding and daycare service. She has been great about sending pictures and updates. Our boys always come home tired for days! Can’t wait to use her again :)”
“Communication was excellent. This was my first time using Rover for doggie daycare. There were multiple people on site who were helping care for the dogs during the day. My dog was able to play with other medium-sized dogs. She definitely got enough exercise, and she is a higher energy dog breed (Husky). They also sent me a picture of her playing with some other dogs. And, they have air conditioned space available indoors for hotter days. We had a good experience and I would recommend them!”

“Lisa was wonderful with our dog Minnie! She sent us pictures of her making friends with the resident pups and made sure to ask about care instructions, such as feeding and potty routines. We were very grateful that she offered to do a meet and greet so that Minnie could meet her dogs and get comfortable. We haven’t had our dog for very long and we were a little anxious about leaving her with a sitter for the first time, but we felt so comfortable leaving Minnie in her care and definitely plan to come back!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I’d first discovered them as a young child, it never mattered the type or size, I’ve always been drawn to them. I grew up in the PNW where I spent many years in 4-H, showing horses and participating in our local county fair. Last year we took the leap and moved to South Carolina with our 2 senior dogs, 4 cats, and bearded dragon, and have been loving how beautiful it is. Since our move, we have acquired 3 more cats that were picked up as strays, bringing our total to a whopping 7 cats! I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, and energy levels of dogs, as well as behavioral issues. One of senior dogs struggles with reactivity while on leash, and I make it a point to make sure he is always comfortable and safe while out. I also specialize in pets with special needs who may require a little extra attention and care. One of the kittens we took in is completely blind, amongst other things, and had required daily medication at times. She also suffers from behavioral issues which is why I’m so adamant on being patient with animals. They are learning every day, just as we are. If given the opportunity, I promise to treat your animals as I do my own, with love and grace. I’ve been blessed enough to have a very open schedule and can pretty much fit any time a pet may need into my day. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I’m flexible and have reliable transportation. The safety and comfort of your pets are my top priority and I plan to treat them the way I treat my own. I’m very mindful of securing doors and fences to insure your babies are safe and secure where they are supposed to be. I speak to all animals the way I would speak to a friend because I believe, while they may not be able to understand all the words, they can understand tone and intention.
About: I have experience with all sizes of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Great Pyrenees as well as both indoor and outdoor cats. I also have experience with different temperaments, such as fearful, hyper, or dominant animals. I am a stay-at-home mom with a newborn, so my schedule is very flexible and I would love the chance to play with your fur babies! I make sure your fur babies are comfortable and all their needs are met, as well as taking care when entering your home to ensure any escape attempts are unsuccessful!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. At 13, I started a neighborhood dog-walking business for owners who were “too pooped to walk their dogs,” which quickly grew into in-home and overnight dog sitting. I got my first dog at age ten and trained her myself, and I’ve since attended multiple dog training classes because I genuinely enjoy working with dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for labs, golden doodles, pit bulls, and more for families that I have worked with through high school and college. Now that I have my own home (next to a park) I’m excited to start again with plenty of space, structure, and love for every pup. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m an emergency nurse and work every Monday and Tuesday and every other weekend, which gives me most weekdays free and flexible for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. On my off days, I enjoy staying active with walking, running, and hiking, and I love including dogs in those activities for both exercise and enrichment. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives consistent attention, timely care, and plenty of love. Safety and trust are my top priorities. As an emergency nurse, I have strong medical training and stay calm and attentive in all situations, including emergencies. I closely follow pet parents’ instructions and routines in both my home and theirs, ensuring a low-stress, loving environment. I provide supervised play, secure walks, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Living next to a park gives dogs safe space to explore, exercise, and enjoy structured outdoor time while always being carefully monitored.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up with both dogs and cats and continuing to pet sit regularly since I got my driver’s license. Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of personalities—from high-energy, playful pets to more shy or older animals that need a calmer, more patient approach. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I bring to each pet. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule, which means I can spend more quality time with your pet rather than rushing in and out. I’m very attentive to routines, behavior changes, and individual needs, and I make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe in their environment. I’m a graduate student at Clemson University with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for pet care throughout the day and week. I can easily adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs and provide consistent, reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible, this includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their own space by giving them plenty of attention, patience, and companionship.
About: Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs at all times. Although I don’t have a dog of my own, I love taking care of and spending time with other people’s dogs. 🩷 I am a teacher by day (Aug-end of May) and dog sitter on the side! I love kids but dogs truly have my heart. The bigger, the better! I am a teacher, so I will be gone from 6:30am-3:30pm. I have watched dogs while I’ve been at school who are used to be alone for an extended amount of time but but I will walk them prior to leaving for work and then spend the evening with them once I get home. :) ***If your dog isn’t used to being alone while I would be at work, I do have someone who can check on your pet and also take them out midday while I’m at work! :) Although I do not have a fenced in yard, my neighborhood community has a fenced in dog park area to give your dog(s) the space and freedom to roam as needed. :)
About: My husband, Max and I have both grown up with and cared for dogs for most of our lives. Max and I also have our own dog, Ziggy, whom we absolutely spoil and adore! We are both wildlife biologists and true animal lovers. Between my flexible schedule and Max’s work from home schedule, we can assure that your pet will be in the best possible care while you are away! In addition to caring for your dog(s), we can also provide care for scaly critters too as we have years of experience caring for snakes and lizards. I am a graduate student at Clemson and have a variable and somewhat flexible schedule, however Max works from home and can be pretty flexible if needed. We’ll do everything we can to ensure that your pets’ daily routine is as uninterrupted as possible! Please let us know of any and all quirks, triggers, and special needs so that we can make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while you’re away.
“Graham has been awesome with my dog and has been so flexible and easy to work with. She does a wonderful job playing and walking Annie. She’s also great at staying in touch with me about how each walk goes with pictures!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a home with dogs sparked a lifelong love for pets, and for the past five years, I’ve been a proud dog parent to my own fur baby. I began dog and cat sitting about six years ago and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m also comfortable caring for animals with special medical needs, including administering insulin to a cat with diabetes and managing feeding routines for a dog with megaesophagus. I truly love what I do and treat every pet as if they were my own—providing attentive, compassionate, and reliable care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently a student at Clemson and have certain days during the week where I am free for most of the day and all day Sundays! I like to create a calm safe environment where every pet is treated like my own. But also love playing fetch in my big fenced in back yard and have a very friendly dog who loves everyone that would love a play date! Keeping a consistent routine is also a key aspect to a good environment!

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have always had pets in my household. At one point, I lived in a home with 12 dogs and 2 cats, so I am very comfortable caring for multiple pets, different personalities, and different breeds. I currently have a 2-year-old Standard Poodle of my own who is very loved and well cared for. I am also a mom of three, a nursing student, and a business owner, so I am responsible, organized, dependable, and used to managing a busy schedule. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I will treat your pet with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I make my own work schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet walks, drop-ins, and sittings into my routine. I’m also currently in nursing school, so I only work part-time. This allows me to plan my schedule around both school and pet care, making sure your pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. For the Safety, Trust & Environment section, you could put: I always make sure pets are in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and routines. I’m very attentive and will treat your pet like one of my own. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m also respectful of their space and make sure everything is secure before I leave.
About: I’ve grown up with pets ever since i was born! I currently have two cats and one dog that i love so deeply! I can take dogs out for walks or play with them outside and entertain the cats or simply just stay with them while they relax. I’m currently in Anderson for college and would love to take care of your animal! I have availability throughout the weekdays and selective availability on the weekends! My pets at my house are cared for so deeply and I promise to care for yours just the same! I would ensure safety all the time when walking or watching your animal(s).

About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I typically work a few days out of the week and 4-6 hour shifts! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.

About: I adore all animals. Since I was a child animals have felt safe and protected around me. It's a special and pure love that we as humans don't always deserve! I'm a reliable, caring and trustworthy animal lover with a flexible schedule. I will always do my best to make your fur baby my priority! I treat animals as if they're children. They get the same love, care and patience that you would give a child. Even moreso, actually. Trust and respect are vital in a human and animal relationship.

About: I have three rescue dogs, including a senior dog and a puppy. I’m very used to caring for anxious dogs. For kitty owners, I’ve had family cats I cared for up until I was 16! I’m a recent college grad taking time at home with my parents & doggies while job searching! I currently work a retail job, and am unavailable on select days. However, I may still be able to do a check-in/walk depending on the time— so just ask! I can crate dogs as needed, follow any mealtime and medication procedures and will prioritize playtime with your animals! Each of my three pets are vastly different and each have their own schedules and procedures. Just let me know what works best for your pet!

“Emily was awesome! She kept me updated daily with pictures and text messages. I felt very comfortable with leaving my dog while on vacation with Emily. I'm very pleased and will use her for the future.”

I’m used to many different breeds from small dogs to larger dogs like a German Shepard Husky Mix. I currently have a 1 year old mixed breed (Medium Size: 50 lb) dog!
“I had to book a sitter last minute and didn’t expect to find one. Instead, I found the perfect sitter that Iggy had a blast with! Iggy is very energetic, but she got all of her energy out here!”

“AMAZING She sent me photos and videos of my pet during the time She took care of her, she has a big yard at her house where my pet ran every day, she allows the dogs to walk freely at home and gives them a lot of love! My dog returned home improved and refreshed. Thank you ! I will book again with her 100%”

“Absolutely perfect. We had total peace of mind knowing our kitty was in good hands. Lauren gave us daily updates with plenty of pictures and videos. We will be using her again in the future. Thank you!”

“Max seemed very happy and well taken care of. I think he enjoyed playing with their dog Sammy and being around children. Thanks for taking such good care of him, see you next time!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Jennifer’s service was awesome! She agreed to watch him at last minute’s notice. I love her backyard playground for the fur babies. The pics she sent helped me feel comfortable and secure leaving JB in her care. I would definitely use her services again!”
“She sent a lot of updates and pictures, and I can tell Chevi was loved during her stay. Chevi will be going back over later this week! PS. Chevi is a 120 pound Cane Corso so if you have a large dog you can feel safe here!”
“Bronson and I can’t say enough good things about his time at Julie’s. ( I spent a lot of time in the Clemson area while my son was in college. I wish I knew about Julie then). I was back down this week for a family funeral. My 8 year plus 120 lb lab Bronson isn’t kennel material because he needs real grass. Julie provided him a home away from home. She didn’t shy away from his size and her 13 year old dog Duncan made him feel right at home and even shared his toys. I would recommend Julie to anyone needing a home away from home for their pup. She provided pics and updates which made me feel secure that he was in a loving home.”

“Fabienne was fantastic with my Ginny girl! She sent lots of updates and pictures so I could follow along. Very good communication and she is very sweet and caring. Will definitely use again!!”
