“Debbie is the best! She takes great care of the dogs in her house, communicates clearly, and always sends the best photos so we never have to worry about our boy! Can’t recommend her enough. She is super knowledgeable about dogs and is very good at her job.”

“I was very nervous of leaving my fur baby with a sitter being that she’s still a puppy and so tiny she’s in need of so much attention. Maria took Madison in and did such a great job with her that I will definitely be booking her for all my sitting needs.”

“We enjoyed the pictures we got of our dog’s stay. The communication was awesome! Our dog is still tired! We felt like he was in great hands and would gladly choose Whitney and her husband to watch our dog again!”

“I am so happy to have found Becky! Maggie was so happy throughout her stay and Becky took amazing care of her! I didn’t have to think twice about whether she was ok or not. She gave Maggie so many cuddles!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Currently, I have a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix and a 4-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for German Shepherds, Beagles, Pit Bulls, Jack Russells, Labradors, and Schnauzers, and at one point had as many as six dogs. I’ve also owned a cat and have experience caring for cats as well. Friends frequently trust me to pet sit for them, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I also am a Volunteer Dog walker and caregiver at Columbia Animal Shelter. I have a very flexible schedule and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care while you’re away. I’m currently in the army and work 2-3 days a week.my husband stays at home full time. I have a very flexible schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment with regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and comfort level to help them feel secure and happy.
“Aika was incredibly kind and considerate with my dog, treating them like their own. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in such caring hands. Everything was smooth, and I would definitely book again the next time I need a sitter.”

“Qais did an outstanding job caring for my senior dog, Sly. At 16 years old, Sly is a sweet, reserved, go-with-the-flow gentleman who prefers naps, treats, and taking life at a slower pace. Like many geriatric dogs, Sly has a few age-related challenges and requires a little extra patience, attention, and understanding. From the moment I met him, I felt comfortable leaving my dog in his care. Throughout the stay, my dog was well fed, comfortable, and given plenty of affection. I especially appreciated the communication. Regular pictures and videos gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was reassuring to see Sly relaxed, comfortable, and clearly being well cared for. I had a few last-minute changes to my boarding request and ended up being a little late both dropping Sly off and picking him up. Despite the inconvenience, he was understanding and accommodating. His flexibility and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The environment was warm, welcoming, and stress-free, exactly what an older dog needs. It was clear that Sly was being treated like a member of the family rather than simply being boarded. I would not hesitate to recommend Qais to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. Caring for a senior dog can require extra effort, and he handled it with kindness and genuine care. I will certainly reach out again whenever I need accommodations for my dog.”

“Adia was great with Milo. I could tell when I picked him up that enjoyed his time with her. He normally runs to the car without a look back but this time he actually came back to say bye. I was shocked. Lol. But I will definitely be back. Thanks Adia!”

“Merrell was an ideal sitter for my dog, Trixie. She communicated well, and sent lots of photos. Her home is neat and clean and she has a large fenced yard. I will definitely ask Merrell to keep Trixie again when I visit Columbia for football games!”

“Lexie was super responsive and reliable. We felt super comfortable leaving our 7 month old puppy here for his first boarding. She provided photo updates and the space is clean and expansive!”

“We used Chad for day care before and knew he’d do a wonderful job watching our pup for the week. Badger felt right at home and we got pictures everyday showing him having a great time. I am so comfortable leaving badger with Chad and his family and recommend him highly!!!”

“Christina took fabulous care of our little kitty. We were a bit apprehensive leaving her for the first time, but Blakely received personal care and adjusted quickly to her new situation. Christina was good about giving us updates via photos, videos, and messages. We would definitely bring our kitty to Christina again next time we go away. I highly recommend Christina!”

“Caroline was amazing! This was the first time we used Rover and she made things super easy. Her house is precious and sets up perfectly for a variety of dogs. “Either Matt or Janece communicated well prior to dropping off our prts. When we met in person, Matthew made my husband and I comfortable with the booking, by listening to our preferences and concerns. After we gave information specific to our golden retrievers, we left and trusted Matthew and Janece to deliver good care. They did not disappoint. Videos were provided daily that were assuring. We would book again! .”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

I’ll always provide plenty of love and attention, follow your pet’s routine, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m self-employed, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. “Sydney is the best! One of our cats is very shy and she’s great with her. You can tell she has cats of her own and is very experienced. We booked her once, and then again 5 months later, and we were impressed that she kept detailed notes in her phone from her first visit! Sydney is always good about sending pictures/ updates as well.”

“Our dogs, Sammy and Bentley loved Jennifer P! They had a wonderful time together on the drop in visits. She came at the requested times, took care of them, gave a report and pics after each visit. Great job! We felt confident being out of town with Jennifer caring for our dogs . thank you!!”

“Kristin is awesome! I booked check ins for Christmas day and the morning after. I'm so happy she could check on my two cats. She had mentioned to me at the meet and greet that this was her busiest Christmas week yet with a lot of bookings. I have worked in retail for a few years now and Christmas week can be so overwhelming, especially with now that I travel for family while having pets at home. I am so appreciative that she was able to show them care and attention even with one of the craziest weeks of the year. I had booked her in advance but even then I was worried and anxious about this. My job had me scheduled christmas eve, and then I was taking a midnight train to Florida that night. Plus this would be the first night that my cats were alone together without me. I'm just so happy that Kristin could check on them, they were happy and comfortable seeing her while I was gone. I am really thankful for her and she's a great sitter.”

Small or big , Reptile or mammal I love them all unconditionally :). I currently just got out of the military, so my schedule is always free. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.

During drop ins/walks I make sure to treat your home with respect and your pet the same as if they were my own. I believe that safety and trust is the most important factor.

About: I love, love, LOVE animals and will lavish TLC on your fur babies! I started taking care of my neighborhood dogs and cats when I was 10-years-old in Greenville, SC. It's stressful for pets to be boarded while their owners are away, so I try to make sure that they feel loved and secure when I take care of them. I give lots of belly scratches and am known by my doggie work neighbors as the Treat Lady. “Debbie is the best! She takes great care of the dogs in her house, communicates clearly, and always sends the best photos so we never have to worry about our boy! Can’t recommend her enough. She is super knowledgeable about dogs and is very good at her job.”

“We enjoyed the pictures we got of our dog’s stay. The communication was awesome! Our dog is still tired! We felt like he was in great hands and would gladly choose Whitney and her husband to watch our dog again!”

“Caroline was amazing! This was the first time we used Rover and she made things super easy. Her house is precious and sets up perfectly for a variety of dogs. Caroline did a wonderful job accommodating our pup’s needs and we will definitely use her again when we come to Columbia. Thanks for everything Caroline!”

We would book again! .”

“Eleftherios and Nicole were exceptional. They made my dog feel right at home. He has had issues with anxiety while staying at kennels, but he did great being in their home. I really appreciated all the updates and pictures throughout his stay! Thank you both so much!”

“Once again, Assatta took amazing care of Joonie. She was very attentive to whatever his needs were and ensured she sent pictures or videos with updates daily. She was very flexible with times and worked around my schedule for drop off and pick up. She’s extremely reliable and I appreciate her treating my big boy like her own. He clearly had an amazing and eventful week bonding and playing with Assatta’s dog because he’s been knocked out resting and snoring all weekend long lol. I guess he has to catch up on his sleep now lol Thank you Assatta!! 🙂”

“Rachel (and her family) could not be nicer!! Clearly they love dogs and have the goal of making your dog feel comfortable in new surroundings. I cannot speak highly enough about this friendly family who welcomed our dog as part of their crowd!”

“Eileen was fantastic! As soon as we met Eileen, we knew our baby would be in good hands while we were away! She really put our minds at ease and sent us pics or a video each day while we were away. Scout was clearly having a good time while we were away and was well taken care of by Eileen!”
