About: I am a registered veterinary technician with 10 years of experience caring for animals! I am able to administer medications as needed, including injections (i.e: insulin for diabetic animals). I am available Wednesday-Friday and some Saturdays and Sundays. I work part time and stay home with my daughter the rest of the week, so she may be with me for drop ins and walks. About: I've had dogs my entire life and cared for pets of others as well through the years. My husband and I both work from home so we have availability to look after the pets of others daily. We have a dog a cat who get along with other pets. We have adopted puppies and young adult dogs and successfully trained them to be very good dogs. We have cared for senior dogs as well. In our home the pets can be wherever the humans are, including the furniture indoors and outside. I am self employed and work from home so my daily schedule is very open for pet sitting. My husband also works from home so there is always someone home to look after the pets and make sure their needs are being met. Our home is very dog friendly. Everywhere humans can be the dogs can be also. The backyard is fenced in and the gate is rarely ever opened. About: Before we had kids, we would dog sit up to four dogs at a time in our home. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs all my life. I have kennel tech experience through River Walk Animal Hospital in Bluffton, South Carolina. I enjoy walking dogs in the park, at the beach, nature trails, anywhere works for me as long as the pup is having a good time! I love getting down on the floor and playing with them, they are so much fun to be with! I will love your special baby while you’re not with them and tire them out so you know they’re getting the exercise and care you would give them if you could. I have experience in bathing, walking and trimming toenails. I’ve worked with diabetic dogs and dogs on medications so I can help with sick dogs, too. I don’t think I’ve ever met a dog I didn’t like. They are both avid dog lovers and are very gentle with animals. They grew up with a dog in the home until they were five years old and our previous dog passed away. I work at an elementary school so I am home by 4-4:30pm each day and off on weekends, holidays, and during the summer. I am only 14 miles from the Savannah Hilton Head Airport, I used Rover for my pets and I know how important it is to feel like your pet is safe and well cared for while you are away. You can be assured that your pets will receive loving care in my home. I work as a teacher so I am off weekends and holidays. During the school year I am home by 4-4:30pm weekdays. During the summer I do not work. During the school year sometimes I can get away during the day for potty breaks if your pet requires that. My personal pets are like part of the family. About: I lost my dog who was my best friend from the time he was 3 months old to 14 years old. I have watched both large and small dogs, dogs of different temperaments, personalities, healthcare needs, and activity levels. I have experience watching cats of all different ages, personalities and activity levels as well. I also have four grand-kitties that I watch when their parents go out of town. I do have limited experience caring for reptiles but am always willing to learn what your baby needs! I will care for, and love on, your pets like the family members they are! About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.
