“Lux had a wonderful stay with Andie! From the meet and greet to the actual stay and pick-up, everything was perfect! Lux was living her best life while she was there. I received pictures during the stay which I really appreciated. Andie will be the first person we reach out to when we need assistance with Lux.”

About: I board 5 different dogs frequently and each one has returned again and again. I've owned dogs, and all sorts of animals, all of my life, volunteered & was trained at the Arlington Animal Welfare League & enjoy the flexibility & variety of boarding dogs. I have a side yard as well as a court yard with garden areas & closed in paths behind my townhouse for walks. I tend to spoil the dogs with affection, allowing them on the furniture but will always follow whatever rules the owners prefer be minded. Every dog I've boarded comes back with tails wagging, racing for the door and their owners know their dogs are very happy here. I've cared for dogs who return for over 4 years! Pick me! I'm currently working part time from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I do not currently have any pets of my own. I have a small fenced in grass area for your pup to play, get sunshine, and potty needs. I treat every pup as if they were one of my own!
“Caitlin and her Husband are amazing. They have a beautiful house, with awesome little kids that loved to play with Izzi. Izzi seemed like she had a lot of fun with Caitlin and her family while I was out of town. I will certainly be a repeat customer and would 100% recommend her to a friend.”

“We were nervous about leaving our 2 babies with someone new. However, all nervousness quickly evaporated when we met Nicky and her husband. She made us feel so relaxed. She and her husband both were naturals with dogs. We were thrilled that she let them on her sofa and bed as that is what they are used to. Do not hesitate to book with Nicky --- we have already booked in again!”

“Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of our dog Teddy! I loved the pictures and the quick follow up when I checked in. We look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“The absolute best! From the moment we met her, I felt completely comfortable leaving Billie in her care. She is incredibly personable, caring, and attentive. Billie came home happy, exhausted from all the fun, and clearly showered with love and attention. She also had a great time playing with her adorable pup! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and can’t wait to book again. Highly recommend!”

“I can’t recommend Mari enough as a pet sitter! She took such great care of my dog, Riggs, while he stayed at her home. Her house was spotless and very pet-friendly, which immediately put me at ease. Mari was incredibly attentive—she made sure Riggs took his medicine on schedule and kept me updated daily with messages about his behavior and little adventures and pictures. It was clear he was happy and well-loved while in her care. I will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Maddie and Granger were awesome! Chessie had such a good time and was exhausted when she got home—a good sign, for her! She even ate for Maddie, which is astonishing—she is sooo finicky! We got pictures and video and could definitely tell she was having fun. When she got home she curled up on the sofa and crashed. We can’t wait for her to go back!”

“Lori C. is an absolute treasure. She took such great care of Aksel even providing him with a pup cup. He was at ease and very comfortable under Lori's care. Aksel had warmed up to her and had responded to her, running to her as he does with us. She is kind and responsive and definitely an animal lover. We would whole heartedly trust Lori C. with Aksel. Having him stay in sitter's home is 100% preferable than leaving him with a pet boarding place since he has one on one care and loving attention from a trained sitter. We would highly recommend Lori C. and would arrange any future plans with her again. It felt like we were leaving Aksel with a trusted family member.”

“Craig was great!!! Quick responses, easy drop off and pick up, and sent us regular pupdates while we were on vacation 😊 Thank you so much again, and we'll be in touch next time we're going out of town!!”

“We have been using Jacklyn for over a year now. She's absolutely the best dog sitter we have ever had. Our Dog Kai is like our baby, so we don't want anyone but the best to help him feel at home while we are away....and Jacklyn always makes sure that happens. Also, she has the sweetest dog ever, Stryker. He is sooo very sweet and happy, and our dog just can't wait to see him when he arrives and does not want to leave him when the time comes to leave his BFF. We would definitely recommend Jacklyn to anyone looking for a perfect dog sitter.”

“Laura was wonderful!!! We got pictures each day and every one of them showed our Stella looking happy and feeling at home. It’s a strange feeling to leave your dog with someone you’ve never met but Laura put us at ease and made our trip to the area perfect. We would highly recommend her!”

“Jeffrey is by far the best dog sitter my dog has ever had. He constantly took him on walks throughout the day, played fetch with him, and sent tons of photos of my dog with daily summaries. His kids also cuddle with my dog!!! Neo came home tired and happy.”

“My pup, Magnus, loved staying with Mary! Magnus also made a friend with Mary’s pup. Magnus is now home and sleeping soundly from having such a good time. Magnus can’t wait to go back :) Would definitely recommend Mary!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm 28 years old. Animals have been one of the biggest parts of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've spent all 28 years of my life with animals by my side. If you're looking for someone who will care for your pet like they're part of the family, you've come to the right place. I work from home full-time as a part-time mental health therapist and spray tan artist, which means your pet will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. My home features a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, plenty of toys and puzzle activities, and even a dog ramp for senior pets or those who need a little extra support. A few things that make me different: 🐾 Home full-time — your pet won't spend the day alone 🐾 Fully fenced backyard 🐾 28 years of living with and loving animals/pets 🐾 18+ years of hands-on pet care experience 🐾 Veterinary hospital experience (approximately 1 year) 🐾 Comfortable administering medications and injections 🐾 Experience with senior, special-needs, and post-surgical pets 🐾 Experience with tripod dogs and mobility challenges 🐾 Bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, and basic grooming experience 🐾 Toys, enrichment puzzles, snuffle mats, and interactive activities provided 🐾 Experience caring for cats, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and other small animals 🐾 Frequent photo and video updates for pet parents Animals have always been one of the greatest joys in my life. In addition to spending my entire life around dogs, I worked as a kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital in North Charleston, where I cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. One of the reasons pet care is so meaningful to me is because I recently lost my beloved Golden Retriever, Cooper, in early June 2026 after a courageous battle with osteosarcoma. Cooper taught me more about patience, resilience, and unconditional love than I could ever put into words. Throughout his journey, I cared for him through amputation surgery, chemotherapy, physical therapy, medications, and mobility challenges, giving me firsthand experience caring for pets who need a little extra support and understanding. While I know I'll have another dog someday, I'm taking some time to grieve and heal before making that decision. For now, I would love nothing more than to share my home, attention, and affection with pets who deserve all the love in the world. Caring for animals has always brought me so much happiness, and I genuinely miss having furry companionship around the house. As a mental health therapist, patience, empathy, communication, consistency, and attention to detail are qualities I use every day—and they're qualities I bring into pet care as well. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else because I've been that pet parent. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard adventures, enrichment games, couch cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll do everything I can to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. When your pet stays with me, they're not just being watched—they're becoming part of the family. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment activities, medication administration if needed, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. One thing that makes my care a little different is that I do not currently have any pets of my own in the home, and I do NOT take on multiple Rover boarding clients at the same time. This means your pet receives individualized attention and isn't competing with other animals for affection, supervision, or care. Because I am home most of the day, pets staying with me are rarely left alone for extended periods. Whether your pet enjoys playing in the backyard, working on enrichment puzzles, going for walks, or simply relaxing nearby while I work, they'll have plenty of companionship and attention throughout their stay. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as close to home as possible while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and exercise under supervision. Because I work from home, I am able to closely monitor pets throughout the day and quickly notice any changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, mobility, or overall well-being. Unlike some boarding situations, I do not currently have any pets of my own in the home, and I intentionally limit the number of Rover bookings I accept at one time. In most cases, your pet will be the only Rover guest staying with me. This allows me to provide individualized care, reduce stress, minimize the risk of conflicts between animals, and ensure your pet receives my full attention. Before every stay, I take time to learn your pet's routine, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, sleeping preferences, and any special needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications and injections, including insulin, and I have experience caring for senior pets, post-surgical pets, tripod dogs, and pets with mobility challenges. Inside my home, pets have access to comfortable places to relax, enrichment activities, snuffle mats, puzzle games, toys, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I also provide regular photo and video updates because I know firsthand how reassuring it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you're away. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving environment where your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family.
About: I’m a proud momma of two Pit Bulls that I rescued, locally. My passion for Bully breeds started 25 years ago when I adopted my first one and discovered the slobbering kisses that made me a forever fan. Over the last decade I fostered many (over 50) pregnant moms and their babies for local Rescues. I’m available anytime of the day and 7 days a week unless booked or unavailable. I also do not mind last minute drop ins. After my own experience trying to find a sitter for my two pit bulls, I realized that most sitters didn’t accept Pit Bulls and that there was a need for Pittie sitters! I love all breeds and have lots of experience.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I genuinely enjoy building a connection with every pet I care for. I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and comfort throughout the day instead of only stopping by briefly. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and relaxed when their owners are away, so I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and needs. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the day and week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, playtime, and overnight care, and I enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and loved I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere.
“Laura was wonderful with our puppy Lucy. We had not left Lucy for over a week and were nervous but Laura sent pictures and updates that made us feel great about her stay. Lucy loved having other dogs to play with too! We would highly recommend Laura.”
“Sandi and her husband Bill were wonderful to my two little angels! I appreciated the daily updates and pictures; it truly helped to calm my nerves. They were in a happy and healthy place. I especially appreciated Sandi introducing me to a new food experience that my dogs love! They are now getting a new delicious food source and loving it! I have began preparing their meals per her instructions, and they truly love it! Truly grateful for RosaBella‘s, Pepe's and my experience with Sandi and Bill!”

Came and met our dog and was always here when said he would be and sent photos each time. Was to great with our dog! He went above and beyond and we will definitely use again and recommend him to anyone who wants great care and communication!”

About: I grew up with dogs in my house who were always around to cuddle while watching movies or run around the yard with me. I have three dogs of my own - a pit, a mini aussie, and a dachshund. While they couldn't be more different in size and personality, I couldn't love them more. I hate having to leave them when things come up so I understand your concerns when you have to leave your dog with someone else. While I watch your fur babies I spend a lot of our time on walks, playing in my fenced in backyard, and giving belly rubs. Your Pups will be well loved with plenty of attention and bathroom breaks while you're gone. Please let me know if you'd like to schedule a meet and greet before any bookings so I can get to your know dog. I work a flexible position that can be performed from just about anywhere and at any time. This allows me to work around what your pups need and want and allows plenty of time for potty breaks and long afternoon walks. I have a fenced in backyard and a house that is dog proof. My dogs are all crate trained and we have plenty of baby gates if your pup needs some time with humans away from the other dogs. I love sending photos and plenty on updates so you don't have a chance to worry about your babies.

“Justine did a great job! My two cats were well cared for, got their meds on time, and she stayed longer than I anticipated on most visits. I extended my need for two days and Justine found a way to fit it in her schedule (this was at Christmas!). She followed up with me the evening of my arrival to make sure I got home safely. About: I love all animals and dogs just top the list. I had my own dog but I had to put him down due to heart worms but I’ve been training and playing with family dogs since I was young. We will have so much fun. I had a rescue dog, he was a puppy when I found him. When I saw him all you can see was his ribs and he was only 4 months. He was full of life. I trained him to roll over, to eat when I say the magic word. I love him so much and I would want someone watching him to love him as much as I do. That’s how I would look after your dog like he or she was my own My schedule is very flexible. I make room to put your pet first. Stay as long as you need me. Playtime is a must. Never come empty handed. I treat all animals how you would treat them just that you are away and protection is always high for me. I want them to be comfortable.

About: My name is Ashton and I am a native to Myrtle Beach, SC. I am a lover of all animals, hence how I got my nickname the "animal whisperer". I know they can't speak to us but I am extremely Intune to animals needs and feelings. I currently own four dogs; Macaroni-a chowski (10), Scooter Woo Woo- pit/bernard mix (9), Piper- an Aussie(3), and Willie- Schipperke/Pom (1). They are my kids and go mostly anywhere I can take them. I am currently taking over the family restaurant and have a lot of flexibility during the day. I tend to get bored during the day so I wanted to add something I would enjoy- and this is how I landed here. I have worked with a couple of the animal shelter's in the past few years. Whether it be fostering or helping with the rehabilitating shy animal program- all are extremely rewarding. I've met all walks of life (animal and people) partaking in this endeavor. A mix I currently own, Scooter, was a bait dog from a fighting ring that I worked with to rehabilitate. I was the only human he bonded with so he came home with me and is now the most obedient loving animal I've ever owned. I also enjoy training on the side. I look at this as a new opportunity to meet people and their pets! Owning a restaurant, I am pretty flexible with my days. I can come and go as I please. That being said, I have numerous full time drop ins that I can accomodate. I’ve been taking care of clients pets and homes for over ten years. I’m very clean and meticulous. Their pets I treat as my own.

About: I’ve owned and cared for many different sizes and breeds of dogs in my life. It takes a lot for a dog to intimidate me and I would love the opportunity to make sure they feel the love and care they deserve. I am currently a part time worker and have a very flexible schedule. At most points in the day I am very open and will be able to arrive on short notice. I had no issues with travel and would love the opportunity to meet new dogs. I am also very used to maintaining schedules and making sure the dogs in my care are always as active as they would like to be. I am currently unable to do any boarding but will be looking to do so in the future.

“Lux had a wonderful stay with Andie! From the meet and greet to the actual stay and pick-up, everything was perfect! Lux was living her best life while she was there. I received pictures during the stay which I really appreciated. Andie will be the first person we reach out to when we need assistance with Lux.”

“This is the 2nd time we’ve used Karla and the first time overnight. She is fantastic and easy going -which makes our dog feel very comfortable with Karla and her husband. She communicates throughout the day with pictures, videos and messages — which makes us anxious owners feel better. I would definitely use Karla agai. And highly recommend!”

“Debby, or “Aunt Debby” as Knox calls her 😊 provided the best care that I could ask for. I was able to relax on my vacation with peace of mind that my best friend was at home with her. Debby sent informative updates and photos so being away from him was easier. I think he’ll sleep like a baby for a week since she exercised him routinely. He’s a black Lab and it’s hot here in Myrtle Beach, but I didn’t worry since Debby’s level of emergency medical knowledge is far beyond that of any kennel. I will definitely book Camp Debby next time I need to travel without him. Thank you!!!!”

“Madison is very kind and trustworthy. She sends pictures and gives updates often. I immediately booked another stay with her and I'm certain my pup will be beyond excited to get more time with her and Zoey.”

“Our dog had a wonderful experience with David. David sent us photos everyday of our furry family member going on walks and playing. We know he had a great time. We felt comfortable the whole time knowing he was safe and happy. We highly recommend David.”

“Absolutely amazing experience for our first time using Rover! Alivia was a blessing and absolutely the easiest to work with. So happy we chose her. Our fur baby came home happy, healthy and ready to get back to his life. Thank you Alivia for making this such a positive experience.”

“Tywan couldn't have been more professional, pleasant and friendly with whom to do boarding! His expertise with dogs is all over the website in terms of experience, but what drew my eye was that he has a dog and two cats that get along just fine. To me, that showed the level of trust I have become accustomed to expecting from Rover.”
