About: I’ve been around all types/sizes of dogs! I truly love taking care of animals and always prioritize their safety, care, and needs first! I provide a stress free, calm, environment with low noise and a great fenced in backyard to play in! I have taken care of many of my friends/neighbors pets and also grew up with two dogs of my own so I know all the responsibility it takes! I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for the past few years where I had to pass a test specifically on caring for dogs and reading their body language! I’m currently in school and working part-time, but in my free time I’d love to spend time caring for your pets! “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

I don't have any official experience, but I will love and protect your babies like they're my own. I can also watch reptiles as I have a bearded dragon and a yellow belly slider. I also do not mind simple grooming as i love trimming my pups nails and fur when they need it, but i am in no way a professional. i do have a young child so dogs must be okay with them. I am off atleast 2-3 days during the week. I have lunch break and some days I work night shift, My availability depends on my schedule but i typically have a few hours midday and afternoon to spare. I have 3 acres of fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep your pup safe and having fun. We do have big pens set up in case dogs need to be seperated or need a break.

Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. I pay very close attention to the slightest changes in a pets mood and can be very reactive in an emergency situation, if it occurs. I am responsible on walks, I will keep your baby safe and not allow others to interfere with them. I will respect your rules and training that you have for your pet in your home and outside environment.

“Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

He suggested a meet and greet before we committed to the appointment; we accepted and got a great vibe from the start. Our dog is older and has some personality quirks and a little separation anxiety. Michael and his wife were able to easily deal with her and show her a good time, keeping us updated daily with pics and texts. They accommodated Birdie's preferred sleeping arrangements and gave her plenty of opportunity to socialize with people and other dogs in a low stress environment, which was a huge reason we didn't want to send her to a typical kennel/pet spa. Additionally, Birdie had some minor stomach issues while we were out of town and they kept us informed and updated and gave us a reliable opinion on if/when she should be taken to a vet. They watched Birdie for a week and we got her back happy and healthy, and we wouldn't hesitate to send her to them again in the future.”
