We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, growing up my grandma had a lot of dogs which started my love for them. I've also lowered my rates below Rovers "suggested" numbers and made it to where you can "potentially" book me last minute (If my schedule works for you, obviously). Otherwise if I need help you take care of your fur babies in your own home my hours are flexible with my job. I absolutely love animals and think they are a gift to us. I have a large fenced in backyard. I currently have my own 7 year old lab mix she is a female and she is fixed. She is extremely friendly and would love to have company. I don’t have any holes or areas in our backyard that your fur baby would be able to get out of and they are not let outside unattended. We enjoy playing frisbee as well and catch!
About: Im staying in South Carolina more now, so I’m back to being available. I mostly stay home building a homestead, so I have some spare time. Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. I pay very close attention to the slightest changes in a pets mood and can be very reactive in an emergency situation, if it occurs. I am responsible on walks, I will keep your baby safe and not allow others to interfere with them. I will respect your rules and training that you have for your pet in your home and outside environment.
About: i have had four years experience working with dogs, including boarding and daycare services, as well as Rescue. this does include dogs who need medicine or special care as well. i deal with many different breeds, and sizes of dogs every day. I have 5 pups i call my own who love adventures and learning new tricks and i’ve owned cats growing up. i am not afraid to get a little fur on my clothes or even a little dirt, because what’s a pet without a little fur? I also do not mind simple grooming as i love trimming my pups nails and fur when they need it, but i am in no way a professional. i do have a young child so dogs must be okay with them. I am off atleast 2-3 days during the week. I have lunch break and some days I work night shift, My availability depends on my schedule but i typically have a few hours midday and afternoon to spare. I have 3 acres of fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep your pup safe and having fun. We do have big pens set up in case dogs need to be seperated or need a break.

About: I grew up in a household full of animals, three dogs and three cats. I’ve experienced my fair share of pets needs for as long as I can remember. I also love to foster puppies when I get the chance, even though they can be really tricky. I raised my puppy malibu during quarantine and took care of her constantly making sure she was potty trained and getting all her puppy energy out. I also know how to treat older pups because of one of mine that recently passed away due to health issues. she was diabetic and needed insulin shots daily and constant care. I’m currently a junior at the university of south carolina and love to care for animals during my free time. I’m constantly fostering from the local shelter to help out in any way I can. I normally take long walks with them in between class and play outside to give them the attention they deserve. I live in an animal friendly apartment that has a dog park and plenty of outside area to walk around and play. “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family.
