“The first time I met Melissa, I knew our fox terrier, Hershey ♥️ would be in good hands. Melissa is kind, caring, responsible and sends daily pictures with updates. She has a beautiful fenced in yard. I highly recommend Melissa♥️”

“Autumn is possibly the best dog sitter we've ever had! We were nervous about finding a sitter for our new puppy, but Autumn answered all of our questions and made sure we were 100% comfortable. Autumn and her family treated our puppy like she was part of their family. Our dog has some separation anxiety, but at Autumns house she wasn't anxious at all! We got frequent photo and video updates. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, loving, and safe environment for their pet.”

“Her and her family were amazing!! Leayn sent me a ton of photos and updates, and our dogs had a blast hanging out with her. She has a big fenced in yard, and the sweetest dog to help keep our pups entertained. She gave them baths the day we picked them up, and even made us puppy paw paintings for Valentine’s Day! Highly recommend her for well-rounded care!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Taylor, while her and her family watched our dog, Hopper! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely comfortable knowing he was in great hands. They took excellent care of him, gave him plenty of attention, and kept us updated while we were away. It was obvious that Hopper was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We truly appreciate the love and attention they gave him and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. We will definitely use them again! 🐾❤️”

“Alyssa was absolutely wonderful with our dog. During her stay, we got plenty of updates and pictures. Our dog was on a bit of medication during her stay and Alyssa had no problem administering it to her daily and at the correct times. It was so good to know our girl was loved and cared for while we were away.”

“Fernanda took wonderful care of both of our dogs in her home. They were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when I picked them up. She communicated consistently throughout their stay, which gave me great peace of mind, and she was extremely dependable from start to finish. I would absolutely trust her with our dogs again and highly recommend her to others.”

“Ashley was amazing! She was able to book me last minute. As most pet parents my Benny is my baby and as soon as we arrived Benny was excited to go inside (tho he’s never been there). Ashley made me and my dog feel so much at ease and comfortable. If you need someone you can trust with your fur baby I HIGHLY recommend Ashley! Quick to respond and made the whole process so easy. I would rebook with Ashley everytime. Thank you so much for helping me!”

“Elizabeth was an amazing Rover! I met with her beforehand and introduced my dog to hers. During the overnight stay, she sent us updates on our dog throughout. I knew our dog was happy and safe the entire time. Highly recommend having your pets stay with Elizabeth!”

“William was great he took care of our baby and took him to the beach and to the park and dealt with him howling and stuff . Really appreciate everything would highly recommend. William took our booking last minute due to moving situations which helped us so much ! Provided us with pictures and everything. Our dog is not the easiest to deal with but he managed to take care of him !”

“Blue always loves her time with destiny and gill and we love the daily picture updates! Blue always comes home so happy and tuckered out, you can tell she had fun and got lots of love while we were away!”

“We’ve tried several dog sitters and are so happy we found Kaylene! We felt we made the right decision immediately. Our dog was well cared for with lots of love and hugs. Will rebook again!”

“Selena was very attentive to one of our special-needs dogs. We always feel that our dogs are safe with her and she does a great job. They seem very happy while they are with her!”

“Sarah was very accommodating to my last minute care need. My girl is very anxious around other people but she was comfortable around Sarah from the first meeting. My girl enjoyed her day and I would definitely recommend Sarah to care for your fury babies!”

“Luna was so happy during her stay. I could tell by her demeanor when I picked her up that she was comfortable. I will definitely trust Luna with them again without a doubt.”

About: I have over 25 years experience taking care of all breeds of dogs, cats, lizards, fish and just about anything else you can think of. Whether you have a senior or special needs fur baby, one with a lot of extra energy or if you'd just like your fur-kid to have some extra attention while you're at work or away, I'm open to whatever their needs are and taking care of them. I am self employed so I make my own schedule. Therefore I'm available to work around daily walks, play times, feedings or whatever is needed. I am open to doing whatever you recommend when staying in your home. I find it's easier on them when very little changes while you're gone, so I like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible.

“Sami had the time of her life! Sami went on a bike ride, walk to the beach, and a trip to the marina! She was so happy. Karen provided lots of pictures and updates on Sami’s visit. Karen was wonderful to me and Sami. She was so accommodating. I will definitely book Karen again. She’s a fabulous sitter!”

“Gabriela was wonderful! She was great at communicating, and sent lots of updates, including photos! Roxy seemed to be very happy! I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Clare is awesome! I get nervous leaving the kitties with someone I don’t know but Clare treats them like her own and always sends pictures to keep me updated on how they’re doing!”

“Kassie is the best! My kitties loved her and it made my being going one less thing to worry about. She was very punctual and communicative and I would absolutely have her watch my kitties again!”

“Highly recommended! We adopted a young cat about 7 months ago and have only been away from her for 2 days in that time. We had booked a 2 week trip before we adopted her and I was very nervous about leaving her for that long. Stephanie came 2X daily, played with her, gave her loving in addition to the feeding, litter box cleaning, plant watering, taking out garbage, etc. The daily reports were informative and my mind was put at ease right away. When Stephanie stopped by to return the key, Patches was happy to see her and it was easy to see that Patches was happy to see her.”

“Emma was awesome to my cat by ensuring he was taken care of when I was on vacation. She is super friendly and very responsible and as a bonus she even watered my plant outside. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will be using her again on a future visit.”

About: I’ve personally loved and cared for numerous fur and scaly children throughout the vast majority of my life, whether it’s reptiles, dogs, or cats, I have owned and loved each and every one of them. I currently have 2 dogs, a highly energetic and jumpy Black Labrador Retriever Mix (Rutt Butt), and an equally energetic, but 26x more friendly and goofy Pittie Mix (Roofie Doofie). I also have two cats, one loves people and dogs, and the other just loves me and the dogs (terrified of new people). I also have a male Bearded Dragon named Groot, and a baby Sulcatta Tortoise named Oogway! That is the list of who I currently love and live with. I have been working with my Lab and Pittie mix with behavior training since the since the Rutt was a puppy and since I adopted Rufus in early 2025. I’ve consistently kept them structured with simple high energy break commands, long wait, increased food/treat drive, and all-around confidence and morale boost to any low self-esteem. I am currently working on Rover part time, so I will be devoting my days off from work to your pet(s) and their needs. I am wanting to grow this into my own personal side-business as there is nothing that I consider better, than a well-trained pet under high stress environments. I have 2 overly and aggressively friendly dogs. Rutt and Rufus are some of the biggest sweethearts when it comes to meeting new people as well as new furry friends. Rutt has lived with cats his entire life, and Rufus took a bit, but he is finally completely indifferent to life with cats and loves to play with everyone! All owners and their dogs during boardings, or play dates, have to plan for atleast a 30min to an hour meet and greet and orientation so that both yours and my needs are met during visits. I am always in control during the situations, such as I am ever-vigilant of slight non verbal cues and projections yours and my pets put off in order to blossom a happy and stimulating and playful environment. I currently have a house in the Burton area with a beautiful and quaint neighborhood loop well away from all major highways and roadways. I also have about 20-30 acres that are heavily wooded with some managed trails throughout behind my house that I will be more than happy to explore with your pets taking them through for enrichment and training. I will also be in total touch with you as an owner, and me as a sitter. I know that I would love to have pictures and videos of my pet’s life throughout their day with someone new, and I would be more than willing to send you pictures and videos through Snapchat, text, or however you prefer. I encourage the youth and playfulness of each pet and I hope they can achieve their potential. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine. I have two dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon, and a sulcatta tortoise. Each of my wonderful animals have different daily needs and requirements that I strive to meet so they can be the happiest animals and meet their full potential. I have 0.5acres of open backyard that is pushed up to about 20 acres of woodlands directly behind my house. I take my own animals on daily enrichment walks through the forest to aide them in their confidence and better their motor skills.

“Elaine did another excellent job looking after my two cats! She even took extra time to get to know the shy one and to clean up a few unpleasant messes from the not-so-shy one.”

“Caroline, took such good care of our cats, Dude and Chloe. She kept in contact when needed and our cats were not even bothered we were gone, she gave them so much love! Caroline was super sweet and kind really looking forward to working with her in the future!! Thanks :)”

“Allison was fantastic with our cats. Very patient since their scaredy cats. LOL. She had no problem giving our older cat his medicine. She was wonderful about updating us with everything that went on with them. She's very sweet and we'd love for her continue to work for us whenever needed ♥️”

“Patty was all the things we’d look for in a sitter for our boys! She was warm and personable, provided detailed care, and was on time for every visit. She was sure to note all our requests, maintained prompt communication, and truly demonstrated integrity in her work. I felt so at ease reading her visit cards, and seeing the care our cats were receiving in the photos she sent while we were away. I can’t recommend her enough- thanks Patty!”

About: Cats have a special place in my heart, my first pet ever was a kitten named Brooke. I have always been the person to befriend the strays surrounding me and gain their trust. I have experience with cats of all ages, temperaments, & personalities. I will ensure your cat is content and comfortable while under my watch and in my care. Willing to do anything and everything I can to care for your kitty to the best of my ability!

About: Four out of 5 of my fur babies are cats! I grew up with them at my dad’s and now have all rescues! The cat distribution system gifted me some sweet babies! I love to care for and show love to every animal and provide the same care as if they were my own.
“Katie took care of our always energetic and sometimes rude teenage cat, Shepard. She was great about sending check-ins and pictures, which put us at ease. I would definitely work with Katie again. She’s awesome!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in sixth grade, I am now a sophomore in college and I am looking to expand. I have had many animals my whole life, including dogs, guinea pigs, a bunny, fish and more. I have always advocated for proper care and exercise of animals and vouch to care for others animals the same way I do my own. I work a part time job at a coffee shop with shifts that usually last 4-8 hour. I have always been able to make pet care work with this schedule especially if the families live close enough. My usual routine for my current clients includes visiting once around 7:30 am, again around 11-12, coming back for dinner from 5-6 and then once more right before bedtime depending on the pet. I always make sure the animals space is clean and tidy so they are not sitting in their filth while I am gone. I refill water every time I leave and check food depending on the owners schedules. I usually spend about 30 minutes per visit with the animal to ensure they get all of their energy out and are properly cared for before I head back out but of course this varies for every one. I can take dogs for walks or play with them outside in a yard. I stick to the schedule the family provides with of course a little variation due to my work schedule but this is made known before taking a job!

About: I have taken care for cats for about 20 years. I had my first cat at age 5. I have experience administering medication, playing with cats. And helping them to feel comfortable around me.

Getting to know their personalities is half the fun, the other is buying toys, taking pictures, and enjoying pets/cuddles if they let you. I've had to administer insulin shots, pills, and oral meds. Love taking care of them and helping them to enjoy the life they share with us.

“Leayn was absolutely amazing! I needed a last-minute sitter for my old, deaf dog while I was in a meeting. He fit right in, and loved his time with her and the other dogs she was sitting. Thanks Leayn!”
“I traveled down from Maryland last minute for an unfortunate loss in my family. Everything happened so quickly that I didn't gave time to make arrangements for Bear, my 6 month old Cavapoo who had literally just gotten neutered a few days prior. After my 9 hour drive I prayed and hopped on Rover. God led me to Ashley and I have no regrets. Her home was beautiful and fulled with pictures of her sweet young family. She was so kind and Bear settled in immediately. I will definitely use her services again!!!!”

“Karen was fantastic with our pup! Our little fluff's wagging tail was very happy to go to her house everyday and a pleasantly tired pup when I picked her up. I can tell she is is dog obsessed which is exactly want I want in a dog sitter! We will definitely be re-booking. Thanks Karen!”

“We are very grateful for Emily. She provided daycare for our dog last minute. Emily was really nice and easy to communicate with. She also sent pictures of our dog who appeared healthy and happy in all of them. When we picked up our dog, she was her normal self and was clearly well cared for!”

“Fernanda was super sweet and attentive with Murphy. She was very good with communication before during and after his day care visit. Fernanda sent pictures during his stay and he was very relaxed and happy. I recommend her for your fur baby too.”

About: Hi, I'm Virginia! I've been an animal lover my entire life and know that pets are family. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, overnight care, or someone to keep them company while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I'd give my own. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and understand that every dog has their own unique personality and routine. I'm happy to follow your instructions closely, whether that's sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, reinforcing training, or making sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I'm currently flexible and can accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to keep them on their normal routine. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, potty breaks, playtime, or simply companionship while you're away, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and reliable care. Your pet's safety and well-being are my highest priorities. I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, training, and household rules so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I take the time to build trust with each animal at their own pace, provide lots of positive attention, and maintain a calm, clean, and secure environment. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Ashley was so sweet to my Winnie! We couldn’t ask for better - so very thankful for her doting on her and sending numerous pictures and updates. Thank you, Ashley! We would recommend her to anyone!!!”

“Rich and Dee were so wonderful with our dog, Staley. I felt super comfortable leaving her with them for the day. Communication was excellent (before, during and after) and they were super accommodating even when I booked last minute. She was tired and happy when I picked her up from a day of fun. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them to help care for our dog again!”

“Frank took wonderful care of our anxious (but sweet) Bernedoodle puppy, Mia. Mia absolutely loved him and it was huge peace of mind to know she was in good hands. Frank was kind, professional, and communicative. We would absolutely have him take care of our dog again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone!”

“Sweetest person of all time! Brianna watched our cavapoo for a couple days while we stayed at the HH National RV park. She lives very close by and was super flexible to accommodate any times I needed to extend or end early. She works from home, has a beautiful house and a sweet little dog of her own. We had one request which was not to ever leave our dog alone and Brianna was more than happy to accommodate. Will absolutely use her again when back in Beaufort, Bluffton or Hilton Head!”

“Madison was amazingly flexible and kind throughout the whole experience. Our pup had so much fun playing with her dog that she came home completely exhausted and slept for nearly 2 days straight. It was perfect that our girl came home just as tired as we were after a long day at Daufuskie. It was especially convenient that Madison lives so close to our vacation home in HHI.”

Julie homeschools our children so they are home a majority of the day. If your pup is destructive or a chewer, please bring a crate for when they have to leave the house. We intend to love and care for your dog just as we love and care for Penny. We work together as a family to ensure your pets needs are met throughout the day and night.

About: I have been asked by many friends and family over the years to help take care of their pets. I realized that it is something I really enjoy and want to continue helping others with. I work full time with a Monday through Friday schedule of 7 am to 4 pm each day. I would be able to assist in drop in visits and dog walking between 5 pm and 8 pm during the week days. Saturdays and Sundays with availability from 8 am to 8 pm. Drop in visits for feedings or play time at the owners discretion. About: I've always been an animal lover, and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. As the owner of two huskies, I understand that pets aren't just animals, they're family. Living with two energetic huskies has given me plenty of experience with long walks, playtime, shedding, and making sure they get the exercise and attention they need. My background in the military has taught me responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Whether it's sticking to your pet's routine, administering simple medications, or making sure they get plenty of exercise and affection, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own dogs. Every pet has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know each one. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just relaxing with someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. My goal is simple: to treat every pet like they're part of my own family and give you complete peace of mind while you're away. I'm currently serving in a special shore-duty assignment with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. Whether you need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight care, I'm often able to adjust my schedule to fit yours. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs before every booking so they receive the care they're used to at home. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important communication is. I'll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and always prioritize safe walks, secure leash handling, and close supervision during playtime. I also respect every owner's instructions, whether that means following a feeding schedule, administering basic medications, or keeping up with your pet's favorite routines. I believe trust is earned, and I'll treat your pet with the same care, patience, and respect that I give my own two huskies

“Greer was an amazing and accommodating sitter. This was my first time leaving my pup overnight on Rover. She gave me great updates and pictures. My dog was so comfortable and happy in her home. The love she showed Dulce gave me peace of mind. I would absolutely book again and recommend her to everyone!”

“Julie was great! She was very responsive and accommodating. My dog seemed to have a lot of fun with Julie and her family. She periodically sent photos and updates regarding how my dog was doing. She was accommodating when my flight got delayed, and Django had to stay another night. I look forward to another stay with Julie.”

“Erin and her family were marvelous! She came through for me at the last minute the first time for a five day stretch with my 15 year old dog. This time it was three days and he was just as happy as the first. He was well loved, fed, walked , and catered to, as I spoil him, and so did she. I don’t go often but when I do, I will make sure to take my boy back to her!!!! Thank you.”

About: I used to help out a family friend with her dog sitting business, and have experience with taking care of all types of dogs. From little to small, cats or dogs I am very adaptable to what each pet needs. I'm a caring person and I would go out of my way to make sure a dog is happy. I pride myself on being reliable and punctual while updating pet parents with photos and reports after every visit. I treat your pets and your home with the utmost care and respect. Growing up I have had a dog with three legs, so I have learned how to take care of dogs that may need extra care and I love to figure out how to make a pet feel comfortable and safe, as well as have fun. I have experience with training puppies, as well as taking care of older pets that may need medications. I’m happy to provide walks to play sessions, as well as watering plants or taking in mail to ensure your home is secure while you’re away. Im currently working close to full time, but I have flexible hours to fit the needs of when to stop by to take care of your pets. It’s healthcare so my schedule tends to change quite often and sometimes I end up with days off during the week. I can do morning or night visits, as well as day ones during the weekend. I do have a dog of my own so my ability to stay overnight can vary but I’m always willing to board a dog that is friendly. I can easily help with crating your dog if that is needed, I crate my dog that I have at home. I’m willing to go out of my way to make your dog comfortable with me and will take the time to ensure trust. I am willing to take your pet for a long walk or spend time with them to make them feel less lonely.
“Frank was great! This was the first time we had our dog boarded and he was still relatively new to us from the pound so we were not 100% sure how he would do, but Frank took excellent care of him and our dog came back happy and tired! Frank made a point to text us with a little update every day and was sure to be on top of minor incidents that occurred so we were always up to date. We had a pretty strict regimen for our dog plus some medication that needed to be given and everything was done how we always do it! We will definitely be using Frank again!”

“Madison was fantastic with Lizzie and was very accommodating with arranging both pick-up and drop-off locations. Her communication was great, and she sent me photos of Lizzie while she kept her. I highly recommend Madison, and would definitely have her keep Lizzie on any future visit to the Hilton Head area.”
