About: I grew up with animals ranging from cats all the way up to horses. I grew up with jack russell terriers, so dogs with a little extra “personality” do not bother me! I love dogs of all sizes and have a very good understanding of dog behavior, body language, and overall knowledge. I am CPR certified for animals as well! I am newly married to the love of my life, but unfortunately I have been battling some ongoing health problems and had to quit my full time job at a local dog daycare/boarding facility, and it broke my heart. This allows me to help my husband with our bills, focus on my health and doctor’s appointments, but I still get to work with animals which has always been my passion. I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. About: Hello, I am Binta! I graduated from North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, where I studied Animal Science. I have 9+ years of experience of raising pets, mainly dogs and cats. All throughout high school, I have volunteered after school taking care of rescue cats so that they can be comfortable while waiting for their forever home. I also used to work part-time in a local dog resort, looking after dogs of all kinds of breeds and temperaments. So, if your furry family member needs a walk or a friend to play with, you can count on me to keep him or her company while you are away for the day! I currently work part-time with an irregular schedule (dog and cat hotel, ironically), so I am free in some mornings and the afternoons and evenings for the time being. We think he's 5 or 6, so let's go with 5! I love all animals and I love being active so your pet is sure to have the best walk and/or playtime hanging with me. I'm a very reliable, attentive, and trustworthy person and pet owner and I promise to make your life (and your pet's) all the easier by taking the stress out of being away from home.
