“We left our sweet kitty Elora with Angela and her family over Christmas. We were very grateful for her to accommodate her and bring her into her families celebration. Elora seemed to get along just fine with her and her animals and came home just as content as when we dropped her off. The only thing I would mention for anyone with chemical sensitives Elora did come home smelling like a lot of artificial fragrances as did everything we dropped her off with and needed a good bath (she was not pleased about that) as we are chemical sensitive. This has nothing to do with the quality of care, and the genuine heart of Angela and her family just something to be aware of for those who have chemical sensitivities to artificial fragrances which is why I have rated 4 stars.”

About: I grew up in a farm when I was little. I would feed the cows and the chickens in the morning. At the age of 7 I had bunnies and would take care of them. At the age of 8 I had my own calf as my pet her mother died so I fed her milk in the mornings. At the age of 9 I moved in with my dad and I started my dog loving journey. As a lifelong animal owner, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I will treat them with the same attention and respect I give my own. I currently have flexible availability most days of the week and can often accommodate pet care requests around my existing animal care responsibilities. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, so I understand the importance of consistency, communication, and showing up when expected. Beginning in August, my availability will shift as I start graduate school, and I will primarily be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I believe in being upfront about scheduling and only accepting bookings that I can fully commit to, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication. Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to follow it as closely as possible. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and attention tailored to their personality. Some pets want to play, some want belly rubs, and some prefer a quiet companion who respects their space. For walks, I focus on safety, consistency, and making sure your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I pay attention to weather conditions, energy levels, and each dog's comfort and confidence. I also keep an eye on the little things. As someone who has cared for animals for many years, I know that changes in appetite, energy, mobility, or behavior can be important. If I notice something unusual, I will communicate it promptly. In a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the household itself. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, and for you to come home to a happy pet and a home just as you left it.
About: I’ve taken cared for dogs since I was a kid, sat since I was a teenager, and can provide your pup with the best care possible. I know dog training basics, so can keep up any training regimen you’re working on. I’m happy to give frequent walks, and even runs for energetic pups if needed. I also don’t work a normal 9-5, so your Fido will never be along for an entire day. I work part-time early mornings, every day, so for sitting I’m never gone for more than 5 hours. For daytime services I’m available anytime after 10am. I always ensure consistent scheduling for feedings and outings. I’m always early for walks and drop-ins, so no need to worry about flakiness. Glad to adhere to any other instructions, be they training related, feeding and care, or whatever else your pup needs. For energetic pups I’m happy to go for runs as well.

About: I really enjoy animals so much. I just do not meet a stranger when it comes to dogs and cats. Your home would be my home away from home. Im 49 years old with a 5 year old son. I enjoy teaching him about how wonderful each animal can be. I personally believe if you teach a child to love animals they will grow up to be wonderful people. I do not have a big home but it is ful of love. We treat all animals like they are part of our family. I can not wait to meet you and your family (pets).. About: I currently have two amazing dogs, Oslo and Annie. Oslo is a Labrador Pit Bull mix. I have taken care of him since he was a puppy. Annie is a Pit Bull mix. I got Annie when she was 2. Both dogs love to play out back in the fenced in yard. What sets me apart? I had a dog with 3 legs and he required special care. His name was Kal. I had a dog named Charlette. She was very overweight when I got her and I helped slim her down by adjusting her diet and walking. I got Charlette when she was old. I took care of her until she died of old age. I have taken care of dogs that were emotionally and physically abused by their previous owners and I have a huge heart for helping dogs through those awful situations. My current dog Annie is a classic example of a dog that can be an amazing companion even after emotional and physical abuse from a previous owner. I also volunteered at final victory through the doggy day out walking program. I participated in the Mardi Gras Parade with one of Final Victory dogs and I have volunteered at the Final Victory Campus to help with cleaning doggy bowls for all the dogs. I can work full time any day of the week. I am available for walking services or staying at the pets home for as many nights as needed. I do not offer boarding services at my home due to Annie still learning that other dogs are a safe space and mean no harm. I care for my pets by playing fetch, giving treats, playing tug of war with a rope, feeding, bathing, providing potty break, walking, and socializing with other dogs. I don't trim dogs nails.
