“Monica and Christopher were awesome. I was able to book extremely short notice and I got tons of updates and pictures! I had a nervous baby, and they took her in without questions and within the first night I had pictures of my "nervous" kid playing, cuddling, and smiling like she was home!”

“Cory & Stacey are wonderful! They kept my 100+lb lab for three nights recently and were and absolute pleasure to work with. This team was not only accommodating to my big boy, but they were great about sending pics and updates- allowing me to vacation with family worry-free. Having used commercial kennels previously, this was my first experience using Rover or sitters. What a great discovery! I would highly recommend the duo of Cory & Stacey to anyone that needs overnight pet accommodations! You guys rock!! Thanks for a great experience!!”

“Jenny was super pleasant, accommodating, and an overall dream. She lives about 50 minutes from me, but I would make the drive again & again for future sitting. She sent updates and pictures to put my mind at ease during my out of town trip. Jenny, you are the best!!!! I’m incredibly grateful to have met you!!”

“Fantastic environment for King as he enjoys himself and feels like home. They really take care of your pets and I will continue to use them in the future.”

“Kathy was great with my dogs. Good communication and pictures while I was away. She took my dogs last minute because of a family emergency and I’m very grateful. Will definitely contact her again for boarding.”

“Lexie watched all three of my dogs and she was the best! She checked in daily and set videos and pics. Her setup is perfect for boarding with a a lovely fenced in yard for pups to run and play. Will definitely be rebooking with her in the future :)”

“We needed a sitter for our dog for a few hours while attending a graduation and we did not know anyone in the area. We found Aiko on Rover and everything worked out perfectly! Our dog can be nervous about going with someone new but she very quickly decided that Aiko would be a good friend. Aiko shared some pictures to let us know all was good and we were able to enjoy the graduation”

“I can't say enough good things about Karen. My boy was well taken care of, had a lot of fun. Very welcoming and professional and warm. I will definitely be boarding with her again. Absolutely phenomenal!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about it, but all my fears were gone once I met Whitney. She was very kind and send me multiple pictures of my baby Cooper. Her dogs were very cute and sweet too. I would reccomend her to anyone.”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.

“Kira is amazing. My 2 Frenchies were right at home from the first moment. It usually takes them a while to warm up. They were so comfortable and stayed in their routine with no problem. Even my new puppy did well. Kira sent pictures throughout which was a great comfort to this dog Mom. I have already booked another stay for them and will make Kira my go to dog sitter in the future. She is terrific!”

“Emily was great. My kitty is sometimes scared of strangers, but she came out of hiding to see Emily at the very first visit! Emily checked in at every visit with an update and photos. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Alayna was there for my prior cat who had a lot of medical issues, we appreciated her kindness and attention to detail. Now I have three kittens that she cared for over a long weekend. One of the kittens needed antibiotics and I knew Alayna was more than qualified to give it to him. I appreciate having her and she does a wonderful job.”

“Nicole is amazing! My cat is usually a very shy girl, but she was lying belly up — a clear sign she felt comfortable and safe. Nicole is also very communicative; her messages, cards, and photos were detailed and absolutely lovely. Through the pictures, I could tell my cat was enjoying her time with Nicole. (She even brought Nicole to her favorite tunnel spot to play!) This was already a repeat booking with Nicole, and I’ll definitely book with her again. Thank you so much, Nicole!”

If this is a service that is ok with owners I am more than happy to take their dogs also. I want to make sure that your dog gets all the love an attention they need. Since I understand that all dogs are different I will make sure to give the exact amount of exercise and dietary needs they need! With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.
“Buttercup had a great time with Kira and friends. She came back happy, tired, and well taken care of. Kira was friendly and helpful with our new baby fears. Buttercup will be back for sure?”

“Margie took awesome care of our puppy, Jasper. He has separation anxiety, but he was happy to stay with Margie, and when we returned to pick him up, he was glad to see us but was running back to Margie as well, clearly content to be with her too. The backyard is great for small dogs to be safe and play, and the house is very clean. I am very glad to have found Margie since Jasper is not happy staying home alone. He is looking forward to his next stay!”

“Teia had a great time and came home ready for a nap. Lyndsay sent beautiful pictures which we will treasure. And really appreciate her flexibility and agreeing to our last minute request for daycare. See you soon!”

“Jessica was amazing! She helped out last-minute when my other sitter canceled. She asked questions to make sure she had all info needed for Cooper. Communicated throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. Clean house and even went extra the before Cooper came over to make sure any small things were picked up off the floor since he’s a puppy and puts everything in his mouth. Her kids were an absolutely delight for Cooper to play with. Will definitely use her services again!”

I definitely recommend Somiya if you are looking for someone to go above and beyond for your pets needs!”

About: I can’t remember a time when I did not have a pet. I my lifetime, I have had dogs, cats, and enough other animals to form a menagerie. I currently have 4 fur babies at home (2 dogs and 2 cats) and pet sit on a regular basis for a local family that has 4 cats and one dog. Please give me all the snuggles!!! I am usually the first person friends reach out to when their baby needs a petsitter. I even once was entrusted to dog-sit a friend’s elderly pooch that had an extensive medication schedule that included chemotherapy. I am happy to provide your fur baby with a mature, loving experience that you will be ecstatic with. I was unfortunately laid off from my full time job and am currently looking for a new job so I am available daily and immediately. From the time I enter your home, your fur baby is the focus of my attention. I specialize in providing the individualized attention your baby is used to getting from you. Play, walks, treats, someone to sit on the couch and pet? I am here to give the love your baby wants. I will take their lead in the interaction. I will also send pictures of your baby because I know how special they are to receive when you are away.
About: I will love your pet like I love my own. Growing up there has always been a pet in my home, including dogs, a cat, and even a bird, so naturally, I love animals. I enjoy all sizes of pets, dog or cat. I will make sure that your pet is taken care of and played with. I love to walk dogs because it gets both, the dog and I, up and moving and it is always a good time with a dog. I also love to give dogs baths and brush them because they always seem to love it too. I hope your dog will love me just as much as I love them. My number one priority is to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and taken care of. Right now, I work a weird schedule with my job so day time availability changes but I’m always available before and after work on the weekdays. Weekends differ just depending on my plans. :) I have been a dog and cat sitter multiple times in others homes. I make sure all of the pets needs are taken care of including feeding, watering, letting out, crating, etc. I am also careful to not mess anything up inside or outside the home

About: I have taken care of my neighbors dog when they are out of town each year, and have grown to love caring for pets of all kinds. I have also recently done drop in visits for a friend’s family, and took care of 4 dogs and 5 cats for 6 days straight. I made sure I got all their meds down, and loved and cuddled on all of them! I am available full time right now, and I am wanting to gain more experience since this is something I want to keep pursuing since I do love animals so much. I have a fenced yard at my house. My dog Indy is very territorial about his space so I will not be able to keep pets at my place. I will keep my client on speed dial when in their home because I don’t want to break any boundaries, and am always double checking on what the animals need.
About: I have been around pets all my life. Volunteered as a foster mom for the humane society and took home pets that needed medication given to them. Been around active dogs like Dalmatians and Australian Shepherds as well as older, docile dogs. Did puppy training classes when I raised my Australian shepherd. I work full time so if you request a booking with me I may send you back a message with the hours I work during that time frame. I've also lowered my rates below Rovers "suggested" numbers and made it to where you can "potentially" book me last minute (If my schedule works for you, obviously). I would love to be that sitter that is helping out someone who maybe had a sitter cancel at the last minute or you had an unexpected event happen and didn't really have it in the budget to hire a pet sitter on top of everything else. Or you are just a frugal gal/guy like me and don't think it should break the bank to hire someone to watch your fur children 😊 I can crate your pets when needed, take them on walks, can administer medications if needed. I work well with lists or rules set out to follow for your pets best care in your home.
About: For the past 5 years i’ve taken on the amazing job of pet sitting. I’ve sat for numerous families ranging from a single pet, to multiple - of all different ages. I’m currently a full-time online stay at home mom, in which I’m able to be home all day. Your pets needs will be tended to immediately throughout the day, along with numerous potty breaks and a lot of love and attention. Currently, we live on 5 acres out in the country. While we have plenty of land to go on walks, we do not have a fenced in yard currently. Therefore, any animals boarded in my home must be able to potty on leashes. Also, we have an outdoor dog & cat that may have a possibility of coming in contact with your animals. So friendly with other animals & children are a must.

About: i have had four years experience working with dogs, including boarding and daycare services, as well as Rescue. this does include dogs who need medicine or special care as well. i deal with many different breeds, and sizes of dogs every day. I have 5 pups i call my own who love adventures and learning new tricks and i’ve owned cats growing up. i am not afraid to get a little fur on my clothes or even a little dirt, because what’s a pet without a little fur? I also do not mind simple grooming as i love trimming my pups nails and fur when they need it, but i am in no way a professional. i do have a young child so dogs must be okay with them. I am off atleast 2-3 days during the week. I have lunch break and some days I work night shift, My availability depends on my schedule but i typically have a few hours midday and afternoon to spare. I have 3 acres of fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep your pup safe and having fun. We do have big pens set up in case dogs need to be seperated or need a break.
About: Am i a crazy cat lady? Maybe. Do I want to pet all the puppers? Possibly. I have had cats and dogs my entire life, many adopted strays, ferals, and fosters (cats and dogs). My current clowder consists of four cats. I am pretty flexible and typically available to care for your pets while you are at the office, out for the evening, or enjoying a weekend getaway. Having recently moved to South Carolina my four cats are in my home out of state with family until I buy a house here. I miss my furry companions and look forward to befriending yours. A little about some of recent challenges I've worked through with my pets: While I only have my four cats currently, I recently had a fifth cat and beagle cross the rainbow bridge. Both were adoptions who came to me with health issues. I got Maggie, my beagle, when she was eight. She had a tumor which caused seizures but lived another 7 happy years with me. Garfield, my cat, was five and came to me with an inoperable hernia, blood disorder, and weighing 25lbs! He was a big boy, but I worked to get him down to a healthy weight of 18 pounds and lived to be 11. Of the four cats I have currently, two were ferals and two were strays. It has taken a lot of work and patience, but all four are docile and fairly trusting of humans.
About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I was little. I’ve also helped friends and family take care of their pets as well and I currently have a dog who I take care of and love everyday:) I would love to care for your fur baby and help out in anyway I can! I am currently a college student! I have lots of free time throughout the weekday and weekend because I only have a few classes. I would love to care for your fur baby. While doing a drop in visit I would care for any pets the same way I would care for my own. I will also respect your space and privacy.
About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories go back to when I was around 2 or 3 years old petting the two cats we had under the dining room table. Later on my family got 4 of the 5 we still have today. I can't imagine life without them. I've had several dogs over the years. Winston, Sticks, and now Scooby & Nevill. My pets are family to me and when I take care of others' pets I treat them with the same respect. I've pet sat off and on for the past few years and I take the well-being of animals very seriously. I have watched over small dogs (pomeranians) and cats. However, I also feel comfortable taking care of larger dogs I have owned and befriended dogs of larger stature/strength in the past. (I had a Black Lab, my sister had a Saint Bernard, and my brother an ~90lb Pit Bull who I was very close with.) Overall the point is that I am very fond of animals and have been taking care of them my whole life. I have a deep love and respect for our furry friends. I am confident in my abilities to provide for their needs.
“Ally is great with my GSD whether they take a walk or play in the yard. She’s patient when he’s not happy to go back in his crate. Definitely a go to when I need someone to care for him.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about it, but all my fears were gone once I met Whitney. She was very kind and send me multiple pictures of my baby Cooper. Her dogs were very cute and sweet too. I would reccomend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home.

“Aubriana was awesome. She took great care of our dog for the week she had him. Even my kids loved using her because our dog enjoyed his stay. She kept us abreast with pictures of him playing with the other dogs.”

“Gina was AMAZING. This was my first time leaving Benji with a sitter but Gina quickly calmed my nerves. She sent pictures of Benji doing various activities and one of his favorites was cuddling with her. I 10/10 recommend for your fur baby needs when you need to be away but want them to still feel loved!”

“Michael and his wife are very loving and caring with my dogs. They are always responsive and take the time to send pictures and updates, which I truly appreciate. My pets have stayed with them several times, and they have always treated them with so much love.”

“Lindsey and Aaron were awesome. Very friendly couple that kept us updated while we were away. They sent photos to let us know Deuce was comfortable and having a great time.”

“Let me just say my expectations were exceeded! Nontombe was so great. This was my first time boarding my pup with someone other than family, so I was nervous about it, but she welcomed Creed with open arms! Here attentiveness and updates were much appreciated. We’ll definitely be seeing her soon. Thank you again!”

“Shannon was wonderful with our newly adopted dog. She was quick to respond to texts, kept us updated regularly, and was incredibly patient with him as he adjusted. Since he recently came from foster care, earning his trust is important, and Shannon was so gentle and understanding with him. We truly appreciated the care and kindness she showed and would absolutely recommend her!”

“This was Ginger’s 2nd stay with Sally. I feel so relieved knowing that my fur baby is getting excellent care. Thank you Sally. Ginger is looking forward to her next stay in a couple of weeks!”
