“Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, I am a pro belly rubber. I feel a connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them. I've taken care of friends' pets and even my former work manager's. I also volunteered at an Animal Shelter and i enjoyed spending time with them… playing, walking, and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and and feel loved. We wanted our dog to have the chance to play with another dog if possible, so she arranged for our pup to meet her dog prior to the stay. Hannah and Conan (her dog) were both awesome. About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child. I had a senior dog I took care of for six years. I am very comfortable with dogs at all stages or any handicaps. I am home throughout the day and all evening with a flexible schedule. My home is relaxing with plenty of space. The fenced in yard is big and a pile of perfect sticks are waiting to be played with. The neighborhood is away from main roads and safe. I do have cameras in the home to keep an eye on things if I run errands. I have a fenced in large yard for safety if your furry friend stays here. I also have a private inside area if they need some downtime. I only have a couple steps into the home. If I visit them then all rules are strictly adhered too. I provide a lot of love and care, making sure they are calm, happy and safe. I tend to care for 4-6 dogs at a time. Many are high energy so your dog should be comfy with that environment. Lazy, sleepy dogs do well with it. I love to have Meet&Greets. I want you to feel comfortable with my space. If it turns out you are not on board 100%, I understand and have no hard feelings. The safety and happiness of your pet is everyone’s focus. Taking care of pets is my full time job so I am home based. I have a couple day care dogs during the work week and spend most of my day with them. I will follow through with your training and rules. Pets are spoiled with attention. I have a box of toys and treats for them. I will provide photos and videos plus regular updates.

If you're looking for someone who cares about your 4-legged baby, is determined to become their best friend, has the patience of a saint, is punctual and follows your instructions perfectly each time... then you must choose Kimi. Our little man is a 10-yr old Chihuahua mix and does not meet new people very well. It takes a long time for him to build up his trust. Kimi is a miracle worker! She understands him and is so very patient with him. They're still in the "bonding" phase somewhat (only because of his personality-not Kimi). But Kimi continues to make amazing progress with him in such a short amount of time. She's always quick to respond and communicate with me, VERY punctual & accommodating, keeps me updated with a picture or video while she's on her walks, and is just the sweetest person. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! Animal happiness and safety is a main priority of mine. I am looking to take care of your animals part time and as needed! I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs and cats! I have 3 dogs currently, a shepherd mix, husky mix and a mini pin doberman alongside 2 cats! We have a large fenced in yard which allows us to let our dogs get their energy out and enjoy some time alone outside, while we continue to keep a close eye on them. The dogs are never out of my sight, I know how mischievous they tend to be.

About: I am a fellow animal lover offering my home and yard to those who need someone to take care of their furry friends like they are their own. I have walked dogs in NYC, worked for large and small animal vets, and even have an animal science degree! I have worked with all kinds of animals big and small. I will do everything I can to make sure your pets are happy while you are away. Your dogs will have lots of outside time in the big backyard and other four legged friends to keep them company. I come home frequently to let me own dogs out and have a roommate that loves dogs too! He is always helpful and takes the dogs out when he gets home too.
About: I have 18 years of experience as a vet tech and currently hold a position of boarding manager and bather at a local pet hospital. I can take care of senior pets or pets that require medications as well! I currently only work until 12pm so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I do not work weekends so that’s never an issue. I have a fenced in yard and two pups to keep your pet busy all day, I love when the pups can free roam but if you prefer I do have all size crates available.

About: We’re a happily married couple, and we both love dogs. We will take care of your pet as if it were our own child. I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. Anna (my wife) is a total dog mom—if she could, she’d give birth to a dog instead of a human, haha. She’s an experienced dog sitter and has been doing this professionally for the past 3 years. I'm always at home, while my wife is at work— sometimes for just four hours, sometimes a little longer. There's always someone at home. Your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities. Since we don't have any pets of our own, your furry friend will receive our undivided attention and be the 'only child' in our home.
