About: I have been the neighborhood pet sitter for years. Neighbors trusted me with their senior dogs of 11 and 14, their dogs that had unending energy, puppies of around 1 or so, and cats and even fish too. I love going to the Greenville humane society and walking dogs of all kinds that have no home, and I have also worked on a couple farms taking care of dogs and cats and other farm animals as well. I am a hard worker and eager to take on new jobs. I work part time and am also involved in sports but I am flexible and willing to work with clients on times I can care for their pets as they need. About: 20+ years experience! I owned a pet sitting service years ago in Florida. It was my way as a single mother to supplement my teaching income. At one time I employed 11 veterinarian technicians as our popularity quickly grew. I retired from teaching recently and I’m now returning to my true love; caring for pets. I personally own two dogs. I adopted a standard poodle from a breeder two years ago. Sobe loves to snuggle and hike. He adores playing with other dogs. Ellie is a 13 year old Toy Poodle. She and Sobe are best buddies. I am available 7 days a week and can be flexible with times and frequency of visits. As, I have pets at home I CANNOT sleep overnight in client’s homes, but can make extra trips throughout the day and night to meet pet’s needs. Special requests will be considered. About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I Rovered for many years when I was living in Charleston, just starting to get back into it here in Greenville. I work a normal 40 hours a week but typically working very early mornings. Having the rest of the day free gives me lots of opportunities! I respect your home, always cleaning up after myself especially for the safety of the pets. I have experience with mediation management and administration and am comfortable caring for medically complex or senior pets :) I work full time but do work from home about 75% of the time at least so I am home most of the day to care for your pets! I have two friendly dogs and two dog-savvy cats who get along with everyone! I can easily crate or separate animals into separate spaces in my home if the need arises

The longest I have been away from my pup since I got him and I felt super confident he was doing just fine.
