My dog was able to play with other medium-sized dogs. She definitely got enough exercise, and she is a higher energy dog breed (Husky). They also sent me a picture of her playing with some other dogs. And, they have air conditioned space available indoors for hotter days. We had a good experience and I would recommend them!”

About: Outside of growing up as a kid with cats and dogs, I have had many experiences helping my roommates and friends take care of their animals. I had a roommate for 4 years, who's dog I call my grandchild, I helped him raise this puppy and house train him. I have dog sat for many of my friends dogs, and although I currently do not have my own dog, it is because eventually I plan to travel and am waiting for that opportunity to rescue a dog of my own. I absolutely love animals and would love the opportunity to help nurture and take care of your pet as well! I am currently a self employed personal trainer, I make my hours and right now they are very flexible. I typically do not have to be at work for more than 3 hours at a time, therefore providing ample time and opportunity for me to spend with your pet. I live in a home on .48 acres with a fenced in yard, therefore plenty of room to run around! There is also an open field near my house, and a local, dog friendly nature trail. I’ve walked and bathed neighbors dogs while they’re away and have had friends dogs stay with me for weeks at a time. I’m a decent trainer! I house trained my chihuahua by her 3rd month (got her at 2 months), and have taught her all sorts of tricks (sit, up, shake, high-five, spin, lie down, and roll over!). She can be hyper but is overall very well behaved! I’m new to the area and work from home so I have endless time to spend with your pup. My chihuahua is practically spoiled with how much daily attention she gets! I have a very large fenced in yard that couldn’t be more dog friendly. It’s basically like having a private park! My chihuahua has a very active lifestyle because of this and eats healthy dog food and treats. I have water for her on all three floors of the house so she can stay hydrated wherever we’re hanging out. She has a crate she hangs out in when she wants alone time too.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I’d first discovered them as a young child, it never mattered the type or size, I’ve always been drawn to them. I grew up in the PNW where I spent many years in 4-H, showing horses and participating in our local county fair. Last year we took the leap and moved to South Carolina with our 2 senior dogs, 4 cats, and bearded dragon, and have been loving how beautiful it is. Since our move, we have acquired 3 more cats that were picked up as strays, bringing our total to a whopping 7 cats! I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, and energy levels of dogs, as well as behavioral issues. One of senior dogs struggles with reactivity while on leash, and I make it a point to make sure he is always comfortable and safe while out. I also specialize in pets with special needs who may require a little extra attention and care. One of the kittens we took in is completely blind, amongst other things, and had required daily medication at times. She also suffers from behavioral issues which is why I’m so adamant on being patient with animals. They are learning every day, just as we are. If given the opportunity, I promise to treat your animals as I do my own, with love and grace. I’ve been blessed enough to have a very open schedule and can pretty much fit any time a pet may need into my day. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I’m flexible and have reliable transportation.
