About: Growing up I wanted to bring home every stray I saw and now, at the age of 27, I’m blessed to have been able to open my doors to 4 stray kittens, bringing my total to a whopping 7 cats. I suppose that may qualify me for a “crazy cat lady” title. I have experience with cats of all ages and temperaments, including behavioral issues and special needs kitties. One of my own is blind but has a big enough attitude to make up for it. I can care for almost every activity level and have ample space on 7 acres, parks, or the many areas in and around Anderson County. About: Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs at all times. Although I don’t have a dog of my own, I love taking care of and spending time with other people’s dogs. 🩷 I am a teacher by day (Aug-end of May) and dog sitter on the side! I love kids but dogs truly have my heart. The bigger, the better! I am a teacher, so I will be gone from 6:30am-3:30pm. I have watched dogs while I’ve been at school who are used to be alone for an extended amount of time but but I will walk them prior to leaving for work and then spend the evening with them once I get home. :) ***If your dog isn’t used to being alone while I would be at work, I do have someone who can check on your pet and also take them out midday while I’m at work! :) Although I do not have a fenced in yard, my neighborhood community has a fenced in dog park area to give your dog(s) the space and freedom to roam as needed. :)

I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

About: I have been taking care of pets for our entire lives. i have experience with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes (as well as reptiles, fish, and plants!). i have been pet-sitting for colleagues and friends for a while now as well as caring for three cats at home. i have previously cared for cats and dogs of all ages, including animals with special needs and medication schedules. I have a fairly flexible schedule at my day job, and will coordinate around your schedule to make sure I can meet every pet's needs. I would prefer to care for pets in your home, as they're likely to be more comfortable that way (and my cats will too). However, I can make exceptions in special cases. I do prefer to have an initial meet and greet with pets and people to make sure everyone's comfortable. For house-sitting, I goal is to make sure your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible, so I will schedule my workday to be there with them as often as possible.
