“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. We are glad to have found a trustworthy friend like Jen to care for our dog while we travel. We would strongly recommend her.”

The biggest comfort for me was knowing Sully wasn’t cooped up in a kennel while we were away — he was in a loving, attentive environment where he was treated like family. Steve clearly takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the way he cares for the dogs entrusted to him. My heart was completely at ease the entire time, which says everything. I have grown up with two family dogs. One of them I had since she was a puppy and the other was a rescue that was around the age of two, but not exactly sure of his age. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens. I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types. We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

About: I’m the type of person that if I see someone handing out free puppies or if I see a lost dog, I’ll be taking them home. I’ve always had such empathy for animals, that on multiple occasions I have done this. For example, last year there was a man handing out free puppies outside of a petco. About: We’ve had our puppy since he was 8 weeks old! We’ve potty trained him and taught him to do basic skills and to be very obedient. He could run outside and come back immediately when we call if he gets out. I am a stay at home mom. We have a 3 year old German shepherd that is low maintenance so plenty of time to help other furry friends. Also open to bringing him along for play dates, he is super friendly! We are working on a fence but for now either let our dog out the back yard to potty or play with our supervision or place him on the lead for short periods of time. He runs freely inside and has food/water in bowl at all times during the day.

About: I have worked and been around animals since I was born. I use to work for a reserve rehabilitator and animal shop owner. I have worked with many breeds of cats and dogs and understand each one can be uniquely different. What works for one may not always work for another. I’m retired navy so I have all day to work with your animals. I can do drop ins throughout the day to check on them to let them out or take on a walk. Pretty flexible schedule. In my home I have a 5 year old husky who has been raised around cats and puppies. He is good at helping correct puppies. He has had one litter of his own pups. About: I've taken care of a multitude of dogs, big and small, since I was a little girl. I have always loved every kind of animal and love to clean and make sure things are taken care of. I am currently working part time as an administrative assistant at Topgolf, but communication is key! As long as I am given 1-2 weeks advance notice I can make myself available for you. I can easily crate your dog if needed and I am an expert at putting cats in carriers. I read animal body language very well and know when to step in and how to meet their exact needs.

About: I have experience with all breeds big or small, all ages they are well cared for. I own a two year old German shepherd mix, she loves play and looks forward to making new friends. I will keep up with the schedule you have them set on, and I can administer medication/ ointment. I’m a navy reservist so my schedule is flexible, breakfast is served around 8. Then a morning walk around 9, there’s a park in my apartment so we can stop there hangout till 930. Around noon they’ll be taken out again and they’ll be out till about 1pm. The rest day will be filled with enrichment activities, and lots of playing. Dinner is served around 530-6. And they’ll be let out one more time around 7, hangout for an hour or so. Then they’ll be crated around 830-9. There is a dog park located at my apartment complex, they’ll have free access to. I’ll take them to a much bigger area to go run and play. And we’ll go on longer walks.

About: I am a BIG animal lover! My pets and my friends pets though out my life have always had a special place in my heart. I have been caring from friends and families dogs and cats for 5 years. I have grown up with two family dogs. One of them I had since she was a puppy and the other was a rescue that was around the age of two, but not exactly sure of his age. I am currently working part time for a promotional agency on the weekends. It is flexible and allows me to make my own schedule. Usually I work for 3 hours in the afternoon on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away.
