After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I grew up in a home where in addition to the 2-3 dogs of our own, we fostered up to 3 other dogs. I've cared for dogs with medical needs, dogs that are aggressive, and dogs of all sizes. I have had my own dog, Stranger, a mix of a few breeds, who was too smart for his own good, which increased my creativity with how we played or tested his intelligence. I love running, playing fetch, or simply sun bathing with dogs so that they get excercise and enjoy outside for a while. I have also taken care of cats, reptiles, and enjoy any animal interaction! I just moved to Aiken, SC and am working part time while going to school. I currently work retail, changing hours weekly. But I try to update my calendar two weeks out per how I am scheduled at work. I can easily adapt to any and all rules of the house. I had my dog crate trained, but he also slept on the bed. I spend a lot of time with the animal outside, if possible. I will do whatever is needed to make the animal more comfortable. My dog Stranger used to have separation anxiety so he had a safe space when we were out. He LOVED snow but had such tiny feet that we had to put booties on his feet to go play in snow or go hiking in cold weather. My friend's dog couldn't climb stairs but wanted to be where I was, so I carried him up and down so he felt safe. Whatever is needed, I can help.

About: I would love to take your fur babies out for walks and drop in on them to play. I have always had my own and i know how lonely it can be for them to be alone while their parents are at work. I can take them for nice long walk and even run with them if they are a little more energetic. i can always make sure they have enough food and water to get them through the day. I love to play catch and can take them to dog parks and let them get socialized with other dogs. I have my own baby they can even play together. I am so very excited to potentially work with you and your loving fur baby. I also have a very loving dog and if you are comfortable with it he really likes to play with other dogs.

The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!

We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!
About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! Currently taking a break from work after my stroke and what better way to spend that down time than cuddling with your babies? My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.
About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.

About: Hey there my name is Danielle, I have taken care of dogs of all ages ranging from puppies going through their first heat to senior dogs with lack of abilities. Growing up I had all sorts of pets in my home and enjoyed sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. Also one of my first jobs was at a dog boarding and day care facility. I love all breeds of dogs and cats and just want to keep them happy and healthy and have a fun time. About: My name is Alexandria, and I’ve had a passion for animals since childhood. I grew up helping on a farm until I was 12 and began working for a dog groomer at 14 which i stopped around 16, gaining valuable experience in animal care. I currently have two German Shepherds and three cats, and I’ve always been the go-to sitter for family and neighbors. About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. I have grown up with all sizes and types of dogs and cats as well as other animals such as reptiles. About: My first job was at a German Shepherd training facility when I was 16. I was responsible for bathing, feeding, exercising, and playing with the dogs! I was one of their main caretaker for a couple years. I was also the primary puppy trainer at the facility. I’ve also had dogs of my own my entire life—big and small, and I absolutely adore dogs and love working with them. It makes me truly happy and relaxed to be with animals and I’m trying to find a stable living doing something I love! About: I would love to take your fur babies out for walks and drop in on them to play. I have always had my own and i know how lonely it can be for them to be alone while their parents are at work. I can take them for nice long walk and even run with them if they are a little more energetic. i can always make sure they have enough food and water to get them through the day. About: I’ve grown up around Animals my whole life and currently have a mini farm. I’m experienced with almost every type of animals including bunnies, reptiles, cats, dogs, fish, birds, and live stock and have been house sitting since I was 13. I am a huge advocate for animal assisted therapy and am currently attending college to get my degree in order to bring animals into my work as a psychologist. I’ve taken care of plenty of animal emergencies and even revived dying chickens. I’m not scared of getting dirty or anything else that comes with with taking care of your animals. About: I am a certified dog trainer in sc, I worked at the local petco for three and a half years as their senior dog trainer. I worked as a dog bather for 2 years. I can do nails if the dog is not aggressive. I worked at a local boarding, daycare, grooming, home visit, and dog walking facility for 2years as well. I also have vet tech training, so medication is not a problem. I currently have made this my full time job. My availability is pretty open, and I’m very flexible with my days and times. About: I have my own pets I got my first dog at 9 years old and been taking good care of her and my other 2 dogs who’ve recently came into my life I also was perfectly able to potty train my first dog. I’ve also taken care of family and friends pets while they’re out of town. I currently have a part-time job and have college classes one or twice a week every here and there but still have a bunch of time in the mornings and weekends to take care of any lovely puppy or dog. I have an inside dog who’s old so is very calm but sometimes energetic she’s free to roam the house and outside yard without a leash. I have a fenced backyard with two nice but energetic dogs. None of my dogs bite the two outside dogs play fight but never harm each other one is new and they got along great.

“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. “Leanna was so wonderful with our girl. She went above and beyond accommodating us when it was MY fault for messing up which day I would be returning and added on an extra day to my reservation. We loved that we did a meet and greet to make sure everyone got along well. Her young daughters were so incredibly sweet to Tahlia and apparently had a great time with her. While Tahlia has love children in the past, she is older and hasn’t been around a lot of kids in a number of years. Leanna was great making sure Tahlia felt loved by her sweet girls but also making sure Tahlia wasn’t overwhelmed. Her yard was a perfect heaven for Tahlia and I’m sure she had lots of new things to smell and see. Leanna did great to make sure I felt updated and I felt super secure leaving Tahlia with her and the girls.”
