She texted a brief, daily update in the morning and evening about eating, drinking, and medicine intake along with several pictures of lounging, playing, and even brushing! When Jack got home, he settled instantly back into his routine and usual social activity which tells me he was happy during the stay with Raquel. Jack stayed in a bedroom of his own with supplies and blankets we packed from home. Raquel assured me it was very quiet and calm in her house even if other pets are also staying with her, but in separated rooms and spaces. She played and cuddled with him daily (or tried to with a 16.5 year old cat). The supplies and blankets were cleaned and returned at the end of his stay. I will book Jack for future stays since everything went so well!”

About: Growing up I wanted to bring home every stray I saw and now, at the age of 27, I’m blessed to have been able to open my doors to 4 stray kittens, bringing my total to a whopping 7 cats. I suppose that may qualify me for a “crazy cat lady” title. I have experience with cats of all ages and temperaments, including behavioral issues and special needs kitties. One of my own is blind but has a big enough attitude to make up for it. I love spending one on one time with cats to really learn their funny little personalities, as they can all be so drastically different, and then tailor their care specifically towards each of them.

About: Please reach out to discuss rates! I’ve been an animal lover since I’d first discovered them as a young child, it never mattered the type or size, I’ve always been drawn to them. I grew up in the PNW where I spent many years in 4-H, showing horses and participating in our local county fair. Last year we took the leap and moved to South Carolina with our 2 senior dogs, 4 cats, and bearded dragon, and have been loving how beautiful it is. Since our move, we have acquired 3 more cats that were picked up as strays, bringing our total to a whopping 7 cats! I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, and energy levels of dogs, as well as behavioral issues. One of senior dogs struggles with reactivity while on leash, and I make it a point to make sure he is always comfortable and safe while out. I also specialize in pets with special needs who may require a little extra attention and care. One of the kittens we took in is completely blind, amongst other things, and had required daily medication at times. She also suffers from behavioral issues which is why I’m so adamant on being patient with animals. They are learning every day, just as we are. If given the opportunity, I promise to treat your animals as I do my own, with love and grace. I’ve been blessed enough to have a very open schedule and can pretty much fit any time a pet may need into my day. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I’m flexible and have reliable transportation. The safety and comfort of your pets are my top priority and I plan to treat them the way I treat my own. I’m very mindful of securing doors and fences to insure your babies are safe and secure where they are supposed to be. I speak to all animals the way I would speak to a friend because I believe, while they may not be able to understand all the words, they can understand tone and intention.
About: Growing up, my family always had at least two dogs at all times. Although I don’t have a dog of my own, I love taking care of and spending time with other people’s dogs. 🩷 I am a teacher by day (Aug-end of May) and dog sitter on the side! I love kids but dogs truly have my heart. The bigger, the better! I am a teacher, so I will be gone from 6:30am-3:30pm. I have watched dogs while I’ve been at school who are used to be alone for an extended amount of time but but I will walk them prior to leaving for work and then spend the evening with them once I get home. :) ***If your dog isn’t used to being alone while I would be at work, I do have someone who can check on your pet and also take them out midday while I’m at work! :) Although I do not have a fenced in yard, my neighborhood community has a fenced in dog park area to give your dog(s) the space and freedom to roam as needed. :)

Between my flexible schedule and Max’s work from home schedule, we can assure that your pet will be in the best possible care while you are away! In addition to caring for your dog(s), we can also provide care for scaly critters too as we have years of experience caring for snakes and lizards. I am a graduate student at Clemson and have a variable and somewhat flexible schedule, however Max works from home and can be pretty flexible if needed. We’ll do everything we can to ensure that your pets’ daily routine is as uninterrupted as possible! Please let us know of any and all quirks, triggers, and special needs so that we can make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while you’re away.
About: I have experience with all sizes of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Great Pyrenees as well as both indoor and outdoor cats. I also have experience with different temperaments, such as fearful, hyper, or dominant animals. I am a stay-at-home mom with a newborn, so my schedule is very flexible and I would love the chance to play with your fur babies! I make sure your fur babies are comfortable and all their needs are met, as well as taking care when entering your home to ensure any escape attempts are unsuccessful!

About: I have worked in rescues on and off for the last 10 years. I have also been a private pet sitter for the last 7! I am currently a stay at home mom but have great flexibility with both kids in school. I am also available for early morning and evening walks for those who may work night shift. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. At 13, I started a neighborhood dog-walking business for owners who were “too pooped to walk their dogs,” which quickly grew into in-home and overnight dog sitting. About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. About: I’ve had both dogs and cats my whole life! My current pet, Gus, is a pomeranian-bichon. Im experienced in dog sitting and training. Fun fact, i’ve also had fancy mice before! I’d love to ease your mind and give your babies the care they need when you’re unable to. I am working Part-Time, so on days that I work, i can be available before 10, and after 7:30.
