“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”

I’m a stay at home mom of 2 kids so I’m available 7 days a week; the only time I leave the house is to go food shopping so the dogs are rarely left alone. I do request that the dogs are friendly towards kids! I have a huge fenced in yard for dogs to run around and play! We also have 3 goats with their own house and fenced in area. Whether you allow your dogs on your furniture is a preference I’d love to learn, we allow them on our furniture as long as it’s something that they already do at home. I know most dogs are on a potty schedule so in order to maintain that I’d want to know how frequently they’re let out. Above all else they’d be spoiled with love and treated like family! Pups that only receive dog walking would be shown the same kind of love as all the other pups despite the small amount of time! I have two children ages 6 & 3 that I have at home with me and I homeschool them. This is my only source of income, so I’m always available to tend to animals that are entrusted to me! Your furry friends would fed according to their normal feeding schedule. We allow our dogs on the couch and our bed, so if that’s something you allow as well (or don’t allow) let me know so we don’t deviate from what you want for them! I’d love to grow my experience and am willing to learn just about anything! I currently work 30 hours a week at my regular job, but my schedule is never consistent. I have still been able to work around it and do stop ins regularly for my clients. Typically I work 6-8 hour shifts so I would not be able to stop in during that time. But I am always able to stop in immediately before my shift and directly after. Aside from that, I am able to stay either full time with your pet or do stop ins however often you would prefer. If you have questions feel free to ask! I am very easy going and understand the importance of a solid routine schedule for your furbabies. I am able to either stay at your house or do frequent drop ins to feed, play, and walk. I am experienced with senior dogs who need special accommodations and am willing to learn as I go!
About: I have had experience with animals since I was a young child, we have always had animals in our home. In the past 5 years I have had an extensive amount of experience dog/house sitting and love what I do. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to fit in your schedule as well! Currently I have a very open schedule for pet care, so I am open to any routine that fits your schedule! I prefer for there to be a fence at the home for safety reasons but if not I will make sure that your pets receive periodic walks if needed throughout the day and lots of cuddle time!

In my apartment complex, we have a dog area to run around along with a bunch of friends dogs (if you have a social dog) who all have their shots and love hanging out with eachother! “Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
