About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. Please feel free to reach out for more information. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

About: I love dogs. I've always had dogs growing up and they've always been a big part of my life. When your dog is in my care, he/she will be treated like family. I do not crate any dogs in my care unless requested. Meet my pets I have two dogs. An 8yr old Maltese named Charlie. He loves to play and he could play all day long. He's full of energy and gets along with all breeds/sizes. I also have a lab mix his name is Jesse and he is 11 yrs old. He is also very sweet and gets along great with his little brother and every dog he comes in contact with. About my yard I live in an townhome with a gated backyard with grass. There are couches that the dogs love to lay on. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medications to dogs. I have experience administering pills and eye medication. I took care of a very ill dog for close to 2yrs. I have experience treating eye conditions as well. I work from home with an extremely flexible schedule. I make my own hours so I have plenty of time to care for your furbaby. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs that would love to play with your pup. I could also separate my dogs if necessary. If your dog is being crate trained, I could accommodate that as well.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I am experienced professional dog trainer so I am comfortable with most breeds and have great leash handling skills. I am currently working part-time from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can be home 90% of my day. Lots of walks for my pups. I usually go to the gym for morning workout after early morning walks with my pups. I have a yard but it is not fenced. “Kayla was so sweet and attentive to my 10 yr old shih tzu Taco. He had recently injured his leg and was awaiting a surgical consult. So, she was careful with his activity level. She also gave his seizure medication 3 times a day. He looked happy and well cared for in all the photo updates she sent me.”
“Lucas was so welcoming and flexible with our plans changing last minute at both drop off and pickup. He was amazing with the dogs and we got so many photos and updates. It was clear he loves what he does and the dogs know it!! Would definitely book with him again next time I’m in town!”

She took all the precautions I asked her to with them, and amazingly they adjusted to her quickly. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but my babies also had a great time.
