“Vas was so good to my baby, I came down on vacation and brought my baby with me I thought he would be fine but he wouldn’t have been. About: If hanging out with animals could be my career, I would be set for life. Honestly, I prefer animals to most people so me and your fur baby are going to have a great time hanging out while you are gone. I commute into downtown Columbia for work but live in Prosperity. I've never met an animal that I didn't love... I've cared for cats, dogs, rats, frogs, fish, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, chickens, ducks and other birds for many years and I enjoy all types and breeds. I volunteer with kitten rescue and have experience with advanced care such as medications, injections, IV fluids. In the past I have been efficient with communication and detail to owners when they are away because I know how difficult it can be to leave your furbaby at home and put your trust in a pet sitter. About: I have had animals my whole life, never been able to live without at least 2. I love working with animals and their unique personalities. Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.

About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.
