Being new to the area with a very shy dog we are always a bit nervous leaving our fur baby with someone else but Panda quickly took to Laura and happily romped around Laura's spacious yard while we were getting the tour. About: I have 25 years of experience as a pet sitter being self-dubbed the "overnight queen" as I specialize in overnight stays of any length. The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!
About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.
About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens. I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types. We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!
About: I have always had a passion for loving and caring for animals. I am working on a change of career and want to earn extra income and hope to slowly transition to being able to do more through Rover. About: Growing up, I always had 4 pets at any time, and was in charge of all care for them! 2 dogs and 2 cats, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, litter, and lovings. I currently have 1 cat and 1 pup of my own. My most frequent client has 4 large dogs and 1 bunny, all of which get spoiled under my care. I have experience with the most common pet breeds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and hamsters, Guinea pigs. I am entirely caring, responsible, assertive when needed, and prompt. I work full time Monday-Friday in downtown Augusta 8:30am-5:30pm. I’m currently not able to leave during the day for lunch time potty breaks unless it is very close to there. For home boarding and doggie day care, my boyfriend mainly works from home and loves sharing the love ! The app also doesn’t always quote the correct prices for me, so please message me if you have any questions :) For house sitting, I fully stay at your home and take care of your pet, as if I am at my own home. I always take care pets and the home itself. I will always leave a place cleaner than when I arrived! For boarding, we have baby gates to separate animals for their own time, etc, when necessary. Our enclosed bricked in yard is perfect for any dog that wants to fun around and play fetch with our girl Ivey. He husband loves fur babies just as much as I do.

My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral and noninvasive medications, but not comfortable doing injections. If your pet has special needs like separation anxiety or a strict medication schedule, I plan my schedule around their care and comfort. I have a big, fully fenced back yard that is wonderful for sniffing around, playing fetch, watching birds and squirrels, and hanging out together when the weather's nice. I have cared for animals of all ages, including seniors with medical conditions, babies, high-energy animals, and pets that have behavioral concerns, etc. I have completed pet first aid and CPR training through Pet Safety Crusader. I have experience with administering medications, walking, feeding, and cuddling! I have experience administering insulin to cats. I am used to cleaning up after pets that are older and may not always make it outside or to their litter box for the bathroom, and animals that may try to dart out open doors or gates. Starting in January, I work Monday-Friday 7:45 am to 1 pm. Outside of that, with notice, I can generally be available. I am a mom to a toddler, so I no longer do overnight care in other peoples homes. Exceptions can be made for people in my neighborhood! One of my dogs can be "dog selective" and tends to resource guard... so for everyone's safety, I do NOT watch pets in my home. Exceptions can be made for rodents or reptiles. I want to keep your pets as safe as possible while sticking to their usual routine while you're away. I pride myself on my clear communication. I recognize how scary it can be to leave your pets in the care of a stranger, and I am happy to do a "meet & greet" with you and your pets prior to booking. The more information you can give me about your pet(s), the better.

About: I have worked at a doggy daycare for the past year and a half in my hometown Aiken where I feed, water and give any special needs to dogs and cats. I also have experience pet sitting at peoples homes. I’m currently a full-time student at the University of South Carolina as a biology major. I have availability after all of my classes which end around noon most days. I am available most weekends and most week weekday evenings for any services and I am able to housesit with pets including stay the night at your home. I will feed your dogs and play with your dogs. About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.
About: Taking care of dogs is second nature to me. I am a dog loving household and am always itching to find another 4-legged-frito-smelling doggo to love on. I have 2 dogs, a schnauzer mix and a labradoodle. They are couch potatoes, so anybody would fit in here. I have worked with dogs basically my whole life and have dog sat for countless friends and families. I am a certified pharmacy technician and am able to care for your senior dog with medical needs. I would be best fit for families who wanted to go on weekend trips and leave their doggos to someone they trust! I can also offer services through the week if need be. I am an early riser and let our dogs have as much outside time as they want until I leave if I have to. I have a fenced in yard, as well as a larger front yard for running and playing. I have baby gates to separate if needed for feeding time or at night for sleeping arrangements.
About: I am a recently graduated student that is local to the area. I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and turtles but I'm always looking for something new. The age and weight of animals have I have cared for is varied. I'm used to giving medication if needed. While owners are away they will always know if something is wrong with their house or pets and will not lack on receiving picture updates from their furry babies. I do work full time 4 days a week. If that presents a problem with your dog’s bathroom schedule then I can bring in one of my back up sitters. I do approve the sitter and schedule with you ahead of time to ensure that you know who will be in your house and around your animals. Whatever keeps your pets happy and safe. I like to ensure that pets are exercised and loved thoroughly. Your animals will be nothing short of happy while I’m in your house taking care of them. You will always know if I feel like something may be off with them.

“Leanna was so wonderful with our girl. She went above and beyond accommodating us when it was MY fault for messing up which day I would be returning and added on an extra day to my reservation. We loved that we did a meet and greet to make sure everyone got along well. Her young daughters were so incredibly sweet to Tahlia and apparently had a great time with her. While Tahlia has love children in the past, she is older and hasn’t been around a lot of kids in a number of years. Leanna was great making sure Tahlia felt loved by her sweet girls but also making sure Tahlia wasn’t overwhelmed. Her yard was a perfect heaven for Tahlia and I’m sure she had lots of new things to smell and see. Leanna did great to make sure I felt updated and I felt super secure leaving Tahlia with her and the girls.”
