I’ve always had dogs but as time passed I felt this sense of freedom that I’d never experienced before. I booked a 7 day trip to Nashville. I had no responsibilities so why not right? 3 months before the trip (November 4th 2023) I went to an adoption event and came home with a very scared Texas pup. Sharon took him several times before our trip so that he could get to know her. He is not easy to say the least. She was great with him. While we were away she sent me daily messages and pictures. She kept reassuring me that he was doing great and telling me to enjoy myself when I would tell her I couldn’t wait to get home to him. When we returned to get him he wanted to stay with her. When we got outside to leave he ran back inside with her. Sharon had big smile she again reassured me that it happens sometimes. About: I’ve grown up with a dog and cat my entire life. I have experience with training. I grew up walking my neighbors dogs. When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible. I’m open to discussing any needs and finding the best schedule for the pets! If there is anything I can do to ensure you feel comfortable, I am more than happy to work it out. About: I have always had neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they are unable to. I always seek out any opportunity to meet new furry friends, such as volunteering at the local humane society and joining the Rover community. I am out of college for the summer, so my days are mostly available. I do have an obligation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays that takes up the morning and afternoon of those days. I do not have a fenced in yard, but the yard that I do have is a very open area that can be roamed around, on-leash of course. I have a furry friend of my own that would love to keep your fur baby company. I’ve had two dogs of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to give pets plenty of attention, care, and love. About: I've had pets of all types from Agway to Petco and beyond since I was 12 years old. My bond seems to be the strongest with dogs, but some say I have a gift with all animals. I recently cared for my best friend Salty for 16 years, and he would want me to share my lessons learned with other deserving pups! I work only part time, remote and in the office. My schedule is very flexible and I love to be outside in any weather. I am focused on dogs, but if you have some other unique friend, I'm willing to discuss options so not pet is left behind! About: I have always loved taking care of animals. I often take care of families pets when needed. I have also taken care of friends pets. I go to school at the University of Rhode Island. I have time in between my classes to make some extra cash and I have always loved looking after dogs and cats I take care of my aunts dog the most. Take him out for walks and to use the potty. Feed him. And obviously making sure he is the happiest puppy in town.
About: Ever since a young age, I have been taking care of animals. For 14 years, I had a white German Shepherd, and she was truly part of the family. Starting in high school I would volunteer to pet sit for anyone who needed my services! No matter big or small, I love them all. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets of my own currently, so I have to get my puppy loving from other peoples pets! I’d love to get the chance to help you out! Right now I’m currently available after 4:30 PM during the weekdays. If given enough notice, I’m available, full weekends as well. I know most people love planning ahead and so do I! Considering your pet will be in their own home, I will do my best to stick to their usual routine. Whether it’s letting them out on a leash or in your fenced in backyard. If your pet uses a cage, I will follow whatever protocol you choose!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and 3 dogs of my own as an adult. I currently have a 4 year old sheepdog mix, she is the light of my life. I am fully retired and looking to keep busy and earn a little money, taking care of your pet(s) as though they were my own. I am retired and enjoy spending my days with a fitness class and being outdoors as much as possible. I’m readily available to provide undivided attention to your furry family member(s). Play dates with my pup are an option as well as boarding in my home. I always use a leash. My home has a fenced yard. I will pick up after the pet, feed, medicate, etc. I will treat your pet and your home as I would my own.

About: I’ve grown up with a dog and cat my entire life. I have experience with training. I grew up walking my neighbors dogs. When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible. I’m open to discussing any needs and finding the best schedule for the pets! If there is anything I can do to ensure you feel comfortable, I am more than happy to work it out. Making sure your pet is cared for is my top priority.
