“Sharon was very responsive. It was easy to communicate with her via phone, email, & text. She kept me well updated on how my pup was doing. She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. My puppy was happy to see me but didn't seem to have missed me much. I would use her for puppy sitting again if I ever had the need. Thank you Sharon for such a nice experience.”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. My dogs are my best friends. I always show love and respect towards them. I also understand how a dog's life can be boring sometimes. Giving them a new environment to sniff out creates a happy and exhausted pup. I try to take my older dog on a new walk/hike every week to give them an adventure and something to look forward to. I'm hoping to provide the same for your dogs. I am also a runner, so I wouldn't mind running alongside your dog. Walking/hiking/running, whatever you prefer.

During visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals if needed, potty breaks, playtime, attention, and plenty of affection based on their personality and comfort level. On walks, I prioritize safety, exercise, and positive interaction while paying close attention to each dog’s pace and needs. I also make it a priority to keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
