I am very comfortable working with most species domestic and exotic. - I have previously worked for a local animal hospital and now I work at an animal shelter. I am familiar and pretty hands on with basic pet care. I have been trained to handle skittish or difficult dogs and cats. I can administer medicines via oral or injection, and perform pedicures/baths etc. I am also animal CPR and first AID certified as of 2020. I was a dog groomer in Florida for two years before moving back to my home state, Rhode Island. Because of COVID - 19 I am taking precautionary measures and will wear a mask if needed. - Things you can expect while your fur baby’s are in my care, walks around the neighborhood or to local trails. (If okay with owner) Backyard play time. Naps, snacks, and lots of love! - I put the animals first and can always guarantee the owners wishes. I am a trustworthy individual who will take the time out of my day to gladly help you out with your fur babies. - I do house visits, or I can stay for the night. If you need assistance with pick ups or drop offs, I offer those services upon request. Send me a request, and I am sure to make things happen! I am available Wednesday’s and Thursday’s all day. Friday - Sunday’s 5pm and after. I can work with you on times I would just need to know a schedule a day or two in advance. I can try to fit in same day requests, but I do work and cannot always guarantee same day appointments. I’d care for your pet like they were my own! With love affection and patience. I understand every pet is different and they all require different care. Whether it’s walks, just hanging out with them at home, playing in the yard or cleaning up after them.

“We felt very comfortable leaving our dog Harper with Christina and Matt when we were away for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It was the first time Harper had ever stayed with anyone other than family and we weren’t sure how she would be in an unfamiliar place with another dog. It was obvious when we went for a meet and greet that Christina is a dog lover and Harper warmed up to her quickly. They have a great dog friendly yard and we received plenty of updates to let us know that she was doing fine. She definitely got plenty of exercise and a lot of love. “Another wonderful stay at Debby’s! Our 1.5 year old poodle (Mookie) just returned from his second Rover stay with Debby. I enjoyed perfect peace of mind during my family’s 4 day trip thanks to all the updates, photos, and videos that she sends each day. I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection.
