“Sharon did a wonderful job taking care of our French Bulldog Zoe while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. We received daily updates and it was clear Zoe was having a great time! We highly recommend her, especially for anyone whose dog had a medical condition (Zoe had back issues and Sharon was so attentive to them, it really put our minds at ease).”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“Christina was the best Rover we have ever had! We felt so comfortable leaving Bo with Christina while we were traveling overseas. We received daily updates and Bo looked like he was living his best life and getting plenty of exercise. As soon as we got home, Bo slept all day!! Will definitely be bringing Bo back!”
“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

“Good morning Natalia! Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Calvyn! It’s clear that you went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable, happy, and loved. We could tell he was in great hands, and it really put our minds at ease while we were away on the cruise. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you for everything you did an outstanding job! We noticed how happy Calvyn seemed to be when we brought him home. Job well done! Thank you so much we really appreciate it. We would highly recommend you to others! Manny and Addy Marques”

“Daisy loves Chris and Whitney and they love her! I am so happy I found people that are absolutely trust worthy, flexible with pick up schedule and loving to my dog! I would sent her back 1000 times! Thank you so much! 😍🐕”

“Ronin had a great time with Kimberly! We were nervous leaving him as we’ve only left him with family before but Kimberly made us feel great about our choice!”

“Yunshu is always great with Lucy. She is our go to for having a great place to bring our dog. She is a great communicator and I always know that our dog is in loving, caring hands with Yunshu and her lovely family.”

“Karen and Chris were fantastic! They are such a nice family that took excellent care of our pup. They were great with communication and pictures. I knew our dog was safe and loved! Highly recommend!!!”

“Melissa took great care of our dog while we were away for a wedding! Easy to communicate with, sent regular pictures and updates, and our pup came home nice and tired from all the fun!”

“Jessica, Abu and Justin are the canine equivalent of the cat’s meow of dog sitters. Jessica is quick to communicate, easy going, and so knowledgeable! The backyard and house are well suited to canine guests. We can’t say enough good things and though our sweet dog is a homebody, we think he’s actually looking forward to his next stay and whatever adventures await him. Abu is one of a kind and a gentle, friendly host. THANK YOU!”

“Anne was amazing! So attentive and took in mind my dogs usual routine- and took extra great care of her! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Keasha took great care of our dog Arnie. We got daily updates during his stay, and I did not have to worry about him while we were away. We would definitely be happy to have Arnie stay with Keasha again in the future!”

“Winnie loved her stay with Leanne's and Michael's family. I was nervous at first leaving Miss W with people she had only just met, but when I saw just how much love and attention she was getting from the 2 boys, based on the photos Leanne sent daily, I sure she was getting the greatest of care! Thank you so much Leanne. And Winnie sends thanks to the boys! She can't wait until her next stay with you.”

“Brian was very responsive and sent pictures while I was away which is always appreciated as a dog mom! Gunny had a blast with his dog and the other dog that was over!”

“Celina was wonderful. She made Maui's time with her and her pup Smokey, so great. Big yard, plenty of room to run and snuggle time when inside. She also made it easier to leave Maui with her wonderful personality and openess to let Maui do things on her timetable. She was very good at sharing photos and videos of Maui's time with her. I will use her services whenever I have to step out of town and not have to worry about my little pupper.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Armitage. They take such amazing care of Kharma every single time. Even when Kharma had to stay really late, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. At this point, Armitage is the first sitter I call every time without hesitation. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Kharma. The level of care, consistency, and genuine love they show means everything to me.”

About: I’m a lifelong cat owner who has shared my home with cats at every stage of life — from bottle-fed kittens to beloved seniors. I’ve cared for multiple cats at once and know that every cat has its own personality, quirks, and comfort level with strangers. I specialize in drop-in visits in your home, because I genuinely believe cats are happiest in their own space. Whether your cat greets me at the door or takes three days to come out from under the bed, I’m patient, calm, and happy to work on their timeline. I have experience with shy and anxious cats, and I’m comfortable with special feeding routines and dietary needs. South Kingstown locals — I know how hard it is to find reliable cat care in South County. I keep my service area small intentionally, so I can give your cats the consistent, unhurried attention they deserve while you’re away
About: I’ve cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice and birds. Horses and dogs are my favorites! I’ve had a dog (or 3) of my own until recently when my 17 year old Yorkie passed away. I’d love to care for your pet now. I am out of the house for a stretch of 4-6 hours for 4-5 days a week, usually in the morning. But otherwise my schedule is fairly flexible. I can walk your dog or put them on a line. I do not have a fenced yard. In general, I don’t mind dogs on my furniture. I can crate them if needed.
“Tallon did a wonderful job caring for our cat while we were away! I will call her again when we need a sitter! She sent pics and let me know each time she visited. Thank you Tallyn!”

“Katie was wonderful with the puppy, and was clearly knowledgeable about puppies and dogs. She met our other dog also, who gave her wag of approval. I recommend Katie for any pet needs.”

“Emma was punctual, very nice and good with Charlie. I believe she will be a good match for both of us and looking forward to making more progress with him getting more comfortable with her.”

“Nicole took amazing care of turbo during our vacation. He is a senior cat, needs medication and had accidents. She gave us a description of every visit and not only did she take care of turbo but also helped with keeping the house very clean. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring person for their pets when they are away.”

About: I've taken care of my neighbors cats for about 3 years give or take. I got my own cat about 2 years ago and he is one of my bestest animal friends. I have experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, cases of emergency, and one time I was sitting a cat the owner had me take it on walks! I have never had to administer medicine on a cat before, but I have for dogs so it is definitely something I could figure out or learn.
“Deanna was very responsive and trustworthy. I was out of town longer than expected and she came to my home and spent some time with the kitties. I would definitely hire her again in the futire.”
“Emily was truly an amazing sitter for our cats. She is attentive to detail, communicates extremely well and really does her best to engage our sometimes cagey felines. She’s the best!”

About: I grew up around 5 cats (some indoor and others outdoor) and gained a lot of experience handling them and dealing with differences in temperament. I’m a very gentle and calm person and cats tend to gravitate towards me. Currently I live with two cats and would love to take care of more!
“I can’t say enough good things about Rik! He’s changed my dog and my family’s life. I didn’t realize how depressed Chara was after my husband suddenly passed away until we met Rik! He’s gone above and beyond helping Chara!! Thank you 😊”

About: Cats have always been apart of the family! Cats can be very individualistic and have specialized personalities. I am well-versed in providing the environment needed on a cat by cat basis with care, love, and attention.

“Our dog, Ollie, is very aware of the phrase “you’re going to see Kimberly today!” Every time, he becomes so excited, waits for his leash to be put on, and runs to the car. Kimberly is our go-to sitter whenever we need help with Ollie. She is the BEST!”

“Sharon was very responsive. It was easy to communicate with her via phone, email, & text. She kept me well updated on how my pup was doing. She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. My puppy was happy to see me but didn't seem to have missed me much. I would use her for puppy sitting again if I ever had the need. Thank you Sharon for such a nice experience.”

Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. I am just switching to Rover from Wag I had over 300 dogs and 50 preferred clients. If you were to go to their site, you will see, I am by the numbers, their highest rated walker. I am switching to River because I feel Rover provides more support for the walker and the pet owner

I can administer medicines via oral or injection, and perform pedicures/baths etc. I am also animal CPR and first AID certified as of 2020. I was a dog groomer in Florida for two years before moving back to my home state, Rhode Island. Because of COVID - 19 I am taking precautionary measures and will wear a mask if needed. - Things you can expect while your fur baby’s are in my care, walks around the neighborhood or to local trails. (If okay with owner) Backyard play time. Naps, snacks, and lots of love! - I put the animals first and can always guarantee the owners wishes. I understand every pet is different and they all require different care. Whether it’s walks, just hanging out with them at home, playing in the yard or cleaning up after them.
About: I owned a German Shepard/Labrador mix for 14 years, and have been around multiple different breeds my entire life! My dog would even have health issues time to time (like seizures), so I am trained to be calm in those situations, especially because I’ve been a lifeguard for 3 years. I will be staying in Nevada for vacation for two weeks, and I would love to take care of your pet/pets during that time! Animals tend to bring out a calm, playful, loving, and utterly responsible side of me. I care for your pet/pets as if they are my own. Following after the well known phrase, I treat all beings in the same respect I would like to be treated. All animals deserve love, care, and understanding!
About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.

“My typically timid Leo warmed up to Alex within minutes and only briefly hesitated before trotting off for their first walk together. Alex was wonderful and reassuring to him.”

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility all through high school and college. At this job I cared for both cats and dogs as well as some more exotic pets. I was a primary carer, walker, feeder, and administered medications. Along with this experience I grew up with large dogs and now have a 3 year-old cat of my own. I am currently pursuing a masters degree at the University of Rhode Island and am looking to make some extra money while being able to spend time around animals. I'd love to care for yours when you can't be there. Because I'm in classes throughout the week my schedule is pretty odd. I am free every evening and have breaks throughout the day for walks and drop-ins. I will try to make any time work! I primarily visit clients homes and take pets for walks or playtimes in the yard depending on the family's preferences. I'm a big player and happy to spend lots of time outside!

Safety is always my number one priority, and I can ensure all pets are safe while under my care.

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life! Growing up with a family dog & cat taught me how to care for pups/kitties of all personalities, and now I have fur babies of my own who are my whole world. I'm experienced with walking routines, feeding schedules, and have dog/cat sat many times for friends and family and am comfortable doing both. I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your dog, so I'm here to give your pup or feline the same love and attention I give mine. There's nothing I enjoy more than helping fellow animal parents and making sure their fur babies are happy, safe, and spoiled while they're away! I currently work in the Hospitality Industry for a local hotel group, but am completely free evenings and all day on Sunday's & Mondays. I am very flexible though and willing to accommodate! I know pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I'll maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I'm very flexible and will follow your instructions exactly how you'd like – from feeding schedules to how much affection to give (or respectful space if they're shy). I'll keep their area clean and send you updates so you have peace of mind. I love and care for every pet like they're my own, so you can trust they're in good hands. I can also water plants, bring in mail, or help with any other small tasks to keep your home running smoothly while you're away.
About: Ever since a young age, I have been taking care of animals. For 14 years, I had a white German Shepherd, and she was truly part of the family. Starting in high school I would volunteer to pet sit for anyone who needed my services! No matter big or small, I love them all. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets of my own currently, so I have to get my puppy loving from other peoples pets! I’d love to get the chance to help you out! Right now I’m currently available after 4:30 PM during the weekdays. If given enough notice, I’m available, full weekends as well. I know most people love planning ahead and so do I! Considering your pet will be in their own home, I will do my best to stick to their usual routine. Whether it’s letting them out on a leash or in your fenced in backyard. If your pet uses a cage, I will follow whatever protocol you choose!

About: I’ve taken care of my 2 rescue dogs and cat for 10 years. I’ve also volunteered for the Super Dog Adoption events as I am passionate about homeless dogs finding good furever homes. Animals are my passion, particularly pets ❤️. I’m currently working part time and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. The only afternoons I’m not available are late Mondays and Tuesdays, however I am available those nights. I can take care of your dog in any way you see fit. I can do Drop in visits and dog walks. I can also stay in your home to take care of your dogs but will need some breaks to come home and take care of mine.

“Ashley was great! She was quick to respond to our request for her services. Our dog Tessa stayed with her for 4 nights and seemed very content there. We received many updates with pictures throughout her stay, which we really appreciated. I would definitely use her services again!”
