“Margo watched Finn during the day when I had to go back to work. She had no problem accepting the challenge of caring for a young puppy and has many years of experience raising dogs of her own. Finn got along really well with her two dogs and was always excited to go to Margo's house when I dropped him off in the morning. My mind was at ease during the work day knowing that he was in excellent care. She sent pictures and updates of them going on walks together, playing in the yard with her dogs, and working on some of his training. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. They took great care to introduce everyone slowly to be sure all the dogs were comfortable. All seems to have gone very well, by the time I came to pick her up, Mia was feeling quite at home. She put herself to bed early. A sign of a good day! I will definitely sign her up for a longer stay!”
