“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. He did whatever he could to make our two dogs (medium, brown dogs) comfortable and keep them on their routine. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. Ralphie’s hind legs are not as strong as they used to be. Out of concern for his safety, Krista slept downstairs on the couch so Ralphie would not have to climb the stairs. About: I’ve been taking care of all different types of animals from lizards to ferrets to turtles and, of course cats and dogs since before I can remember! About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. While working at the shelter, I also fell in love with some of the dogs so I fostered around 25 of the dogs during my time at the shelter until they found a family. I am currently just working here and there for my dad while I am home for the summer, so I am available to take in your dog whenever. I have no set schedule with any other work, so whenever I’m needed, I will be there. I have a very large backyard for your dog to run around in, and two extremely friendly dogs who would love to meet new friends. About: I fostered kittens and cats until I was 6 years old, and I grew up around big dogs like mastiffs and pitties! I’ve grew up with cats my whole life and currently have one; I have owned a dog, leopard gecko, guinea pig, fish, and small insects. I have also pet sat a lovebird and bunny before! About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. Ralphie’s hind legs are not as strong as they used to be. Out of concern for his safety, Krista slept downstairs on the couch so Ralphie would not have to climb the stairs.
