“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities from young kittens and puppies to senior pets, tiny pups to large breeds like Cane Corsos. I’m active and love walks and playtime, but I’m just as happy providing a calm, comfortable environment for older or more laid back pets. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a teenager, 10 plus years and have been around animals since the day I was born. I take pride in the care of other animals and treat them like my own. I have loved and cared for cats and dogs of all sizes. Whether being taken care of in your home or mine, your pet will be treated like family. I currently work full time but I am available on weekends. I work 8:30 am-5:00 pm so am available if needed early mornings before work or after work. 1 week a month I work 10:30am-7:00 pm so would be available that week before 10:30 am. About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. While working at the shelter, I also fell in love with some of the dogs so I fostered around 25 of the dogs during my time at the shelter until they found a family. I am currently just working here and there for my dad while I am home for the summer, so I am available to take in your dog whenever. I have no set schedule with any other work, so whenever I’m needed, I will be there. I have a very large backyard for your dog to run around in, and two extremely friendly dogs who would love to meet new friends. I also am very used to crating dogs because of working at the shelter so if that is what your dog needs then consider it done.

“Devorat is a god send! Pepper and I are new to RI, therefore leaving her to spend the night with a new sitter made me uneasy. Given that this was her first night away from me in RI, Devorat went above and beyond to ensure that both Pepper and I were comfortable with her space by arranging a meeting prior to the booking. Devorat has a large space that includes an enclosed yard for active dogs. That is on top of the dog walks they did together. I appreciated that, as did Pepper. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
