About: My first pet I’ve ever had was a cat. Her name was Mandy. My parents got her as a kitten around the same time I was born. She was a beautiful tortoise shell who had such a loving but spunky personality. She was what made my love for cats grow stronger. Since 2015. My family and I began fostering litters of cats as well as dogs. Some of the litters of kittens we fostered were orphaned, so we had to bottle feed them until they were old enough to eat normal food. I like to think I have a personality similar to a cat, which is why I bond with cats so much!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. As for dogs- your dog and I will always take the quieter and less busy route and avoid people and other pets to prevent any unfavorable mishaps. A fenced-in yard is always preferred for playtime, but if you do not have a fenced-in yard than your dog will always be on the leash while we are outside to prevent any runaways. If you have instructions to put your dog in their crate upon leaving, I will always make sure they go into their crate comfortably and latch the hooks completely. In regards to cats, when entering and exiting the house I use extreme caution to make sure the cats do not run outside. I am also Pet CPR and Pet First Aid certified so you can rest assure that your pet would be well tended to if an urgent situation were to arise.

“Anely was very informative, professional in taking care of our Siberian Husky, Orka. She sent us videos, photos, every time she took our pet for a walk and more while he is resting. She let us know about all the details, how much food our pet had, how much he slept.. I took my dog for a walk before leaving him with Anely. As soon as I dropped him off, he sat next to Anely on the porch and starting gazing the street. That there told me that Orka trusted Anely from the first minute. Also I could easily tell Anely was enjoying our pet's stay the whole time. On top of the detailed info she provided during the stay, these two things were very important for me. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is a really spacious & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
