“Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. We already plan to book with Devorat again soon!”

About: Mason and I have both had cats as kids. Between the two of us, we have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends as well as a few freelance clients, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. From the time I was born, there has never been a time where there wasn't a cat in my house. About: My first pet I’ve ever had was a cat. Her name was Mandy. My parents got her as a kitten around the same time I was born. She was a beautiful tortoise shell who had such a loving but spunky personality. She was what made my love for cats grow stronger. Since 2015. My family and I began fostering litters of cats as well as dogs. Some of the litters of kittens we fostered were orphaned, so we had to bottle feed them until they were old enough to eat normal food. I like to think I have a personality similar to a cat, which is why I bond with cats so much!

About: I have had many different pets since I was a young kid. Cats, dogs, birds, snake, rats, bearded dragon and a hedgehog. I am now 31 with 2 rescue cats, a rescue dog & another dog we got at 7 weeks in 2020 (all covid babies) we love them so so much, they are my children. I don’t have any special training but I am very patient, loving, experienced & happy to just hang with your pets!! I am a bartender and mainly work nights. So I am free during the day. I also only work about 3/4 days a week, so I have plenty of time to show your pet the proper attention. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. About: Hi there! I'm Jamie. I've always had a strong love and connection with animals. I've had cats since I was a little girl and I'd take in and love a skunk, squirrel and chipmunk if I could! I've had 2 dogs of my own throughout the years, right now I have 1 dog, 2 cats and a bearded dragon all who get along very very well with each other as well as other animals and people. I was a head Vet Technician at an animal hospital for 3 years. There I dealt not only with feeding, bathing/grooming, the handling of sick and healthy animals of all kinds, boarding, surgery recovery, medicine administration and overall care of the animals but also cleaning, sanitizing and bedding of sleep/living areas for them. I'm a friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic animal lover full of love and excitement for the babies! I understand life can get busy trying to provide the best for our pets and I'm here to help! Now accepting new clients! Looking forward to hearing from you! =) I am self employed and basically make my own schedule so my availability for your pet care is rather flexible. Openings are as seen in the calendar and will be updated as appointments are scheduled. I typically start about 10am until about 6-7pm (drop ins and daycare) but again I am open depending on what it is you need/are looking for. Please feel free to reach out and we can discuss what you're looking for, what works best for you and we can plan accordingly. No matter what the pet is cared for precisely as the client asks. In their home any messes from pets will always been cleaned up even if just for a pop in. Your home is your home and that is respected 100 percent. For my home, the pet still will go by precisely what the client asks. They are accepted into my home as if they are another one of my own pets. In this house the animals are allowed on the furniture and to sleep in bed with me if that's what they are comfortable with. I live on a dead end with a small creek behind my home. I have long leads and plenty of grass in a safe, secluded, quiet, peaceful, animal friendly area for potty breaks and outside play time. I have some clients that like to have a picture sent to them of their fur baby each visit which I'm always more than happy to do! Who doesn't love receiving a little photo shoot of their beloved pet!?
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. I know the care that is required to keep them happy and healthy. I’ve also volunteered at a dog shelter. I’m currently a student at Johnson & Wales University and have classes from morning to early afternoon. I also work part-time at a coffee bar in Narragansett on Fridays and Saturdays in the morning. I originally started while I was in nursing school, and I still do it now that I’ve graduated because I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs!! “Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. We already plan to book with Devorat again soon!”
