About: I've always loved cats, and as a child, house sat cats for friends and family. I got my first boy in 2004, and have several since. While I'm currently a dog owner, cats always find me, and i make sure i find them, to love! Experienced with several health issues, but have not administered shots.

About: Mason and I have both had cats as kids. Between the two of us, we have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends as well as a few freelance clients, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. From the time I was born, there has never been a time where there wasn't a cat in my house. I love cats so much! I'm often torn between being a cat or a dog person, but find that the kitties usually have my heart. Mason and I both have experience with cats old and young, I have had new born baby kittens in my house as well as cats in their late teens. About: I have had many different pets since I was a young kid. Cats, dogs, birds, snake, rats, bearded dragon and a hedgehog. I am now 31 with 2 rescue cats, a rescue dog & another dog we got at 7 weeks in 2020 (all covid babies) we love them so so much, they are my children. I don’t have any special training but I am very patient, loving, experienced & happy to just hang with your pets!! I am a bartender and mainly work nights. So I am free during the day. I also only work about 3/4 days a week, so I have plenty of time to show your pet the proper attention. I have a full fenced in yard. 2 dogs, 1 rescue mix (65lbs) 1 pug/schnauzer mix (23lbs). 2 cats (1 acts like a dog herself) my pets have free roam of the house but I will crate yours if you prefer. I will abide by your rules!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

“Without a doubt 5 stars! ✨ We were in the area for the weekend and one of the days we had an activity that our dog was not able to come with. Our dog can be strong willed and will take advantage of his size if he thinks he can get away with it. I initially chose Rich/aka Kemba on Rover because his profile pic was with an Akita! Regardless of that, Kemba was the perfect match for Rocky! He sent us some photos of their adventures out and about, and a sweet video walking (with a loose leash, no one was being pulled like a kite!) with a friend's dog. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I love all dogs and would love to care for your pet! I understand that they are your family and will treat them like they’re mine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide care for your family member. I can accommodate whatever schedule is needed to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and healthy. My yard is completely fenced in and I have a very safe neighborhood for walks as well as trails nearby. Safety is super important to me.
About: I am a dog lover who owns 3 dogs. One pit bull mix, one Dashhound mix, and a pit bull puppy! I am also a foster home for rescued dogs through East Coast Canine Rescue. I have one dog who is very high energy and needs to play outside daily! I will kick a ball for him, and he runs for it with his toy in his mouth. I have part of my yard fenced in for pups to run around like crazy. I am a stay at home mom- my time is very flexible. We have two crates if necessary. Treats galore! My dogs are like family- We love on them like our children. Your dog will be treated like our own. We can give baths as well. Your dog will be very comfortable at my house. It will be a pleasure to have them. I have a very relaxed schedule that will cater to your dog. My dogs live like kings. They are cared for very well. Your dog will also be treated as family. They are able to go out whenever they want.
About: I have taken care of my own pets from a very young age, and have fostered both cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments and breeds! I also have worked in a veterinary clinic, and know basic animal care, restraint, and medical administration! I'm currently in school, and have weekends completely free! I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection. Debby’s genuine affection for her clients gives both Mookie and me a sense of peace and comfort while we are apart!”
