About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! For in-home boarding we will be a mother-son team with pretty wide open schedules to care for our furry guests, and will provide a great big house and yard in a great pet-friendly neighborhood for them to enjoy! I can also sit at your home if that is more convenient for you and the pet. My parents dog recently passed away at the age of 17. My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Scarlet warmed up to them very quickly and came back the same happy dog she was when I left her. Shannon even went the extra mile for me, I had to pick up Scarlet early from her stay and Shannon exceeded in making it easy for me. She even went so far as to change the stay dates with Rover so I wouldn't be charged for the extra nights I booked. Great sitter and I would highly recommend her!”
“Emily and her family were so welcoming towards Willie during his meet and greet! She consistently updated us on how Willie was adapting during his stay with texts and photos, so reassuring! She was attentive to his little quirks (like howling at the storm and needing to clap to call him inside due to his hearing issues!). Knowing he had the freedom to roam outside in the fenced-in backyard allowed us to relax while on our vacation. We will definitely call Emily first next time we need a home away from home for Willie!”
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life, from dogs and cats to horses and other pets, at every stage of life. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets who need extra patience and care, including bathing and tending to their individual needs. Above all, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet in my care with the same compassion, attention, and respect I would give my own. I unfortunately recently got laid off. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your beloved pets. Most weekends I like to spend with my family but I am willing to work something out. I have a beautiful neighborhood with just shy of half a mile walk around the block for pets that need walking. Our home provides a nice open floor plan for bigger animals to feel right at home. If I'm coming to your neck of the woods then we'll discuss a pre-approved walking path that everyone feels comfortable with.
