About: They say grief is love with no place to go, so since my senior Belgian Malinois passed away, I've been fostering dogs and would like to get into dog walking. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.

If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. “This was our first time booking with Amy. I’m always nervous to leave my dog with new people, but Amy and her husband were very nice and reassuring. Made me feel at ease leaving him with them. She sent me pictures thru out the stay which I loved. He seemed to be pretty happy there and had a good time. He loved the fenced in yard. We would def take our Charlie back there again.”
