About: Although I didn’t grow up around cats, I recently had the opportunity to foster a cat through the local humane society! She was a young and energetic cat who was rescued as a stray, but had to be kept in isolation from other animals due to a communicable illness. Once we took her in, giving her the space to rest and rehab comfortably, she made a quick recovery and was adopted after a couple short months, once she was medically cleared! This taught me so much about tending to the needs of rescue animals and specifically monitoring any health concerns!

“A few days before our international trip, we stumbled across the Rover site. It was serendipitous, as was our luck in finding Amber. She was everything we wanted in someone who would be in our home and taking care of our cats. She is professional, organized, smart, hardworking, down to earth, and considerate. When we met for our consultation, we were very impressed with her, as well as very reassured by how receptive she was to our needs and situation. We were gone 16 days, and she kept in daily contact with us, providing updates and photos and videos. She went above and beyond, handling our worries thoughtfully and treating our cats as a as though they were her own. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, and Amber was flexible with her schedule so as to try to be in sync with their patterns, in addition to her other obligations. She offered our cats shelter, food and water, treats and playtime, cuddles and reassurance. And in doing so, she gave us tremendous peace of mind. When our one cat would go exploring for extended periods, Amber was mindful to track her adventures. She even took the initiative to look for her if to much time has passed since T had come home. Amber also checked in with us about the house and property, and made a great impression on my dad and sister (who came by and appreciated her efforts too). We can verify that our cats took to her as well, as we had cameras set up and saw how responsive they were to her! :) One of our biggest challenges taking this trip was what we were going to do about our cats (this was our first time away since we adopted them and we know our situation is a little unusual). I am available seven days a week rain or shine and my hours are flexible. No matter what, you can count on me to walk your dog. If you require any special requests just let me know and I will see what I can do. If you need your pet washed I can do that too. I look forward to walking your dog!
About: Hi! I grew up with cats and dogs, and had small animals during college (much to my dorm RA's chagrin LOL) - a hamster, gerbil, snake, and a rat. Currently my daughter and I have four wonderful cats, including an orange female that keeps us on our toes 😁, and a Betta fish. With friends and family, I am surrounded by dogs - from Chihuahua to Greyhound - and I love them all! I often pet sit and walk a variety of pawsome pups 🐾 ❤️. I'm comfortable with any type of pet (feline, canine, reptile, bird, small mammals, etc.) and would be honored to care for yours. Let's face it, pets can be better than people, and they deserve to be treated with the unconditional love they show us!! 😊 I am self-employed, and have ultimate flexibility to care for your pets on your schedule, day or night! I am available for one-off arrangements, when you are traveling, or on-going regular care. I'm especially happy to spend as much time as needed with your fur babies, to ensure they are well-loved and enriched while you are away! In my own home, I can care for caged animals, such as small mammals, reptiles, birds, or fish. They would be kept in a closed room that is off limits to our cats. For your cats and dogs, I happy to come to your home and spend as much time as needed feeding, cleaning, playing, walking, etc. In addition, if the fit is right, I am happy to welcome your dog into my home during the day for doggie daycare.

About: I have had cats for over 20 years. My cat passed two years ago. i kept my daughters lab for 6 months a year for several years. I even took him to work with me! I have six grandchildren that have 4 dogs. I have been watching their dogs for the last 5 years. They travel a lot so I stay at their home and take care of their 4 dogs and pig. I am retired and live by myself. I will be able to spend all day with your furry friends and give them unlimited love. I will be available by text or phone call if you want to check In at anytime. I am happy to send pictures as well I have a back yard and I live on a quiet street so I would be able to take your dog for plenty of walks. I am very familiar with litter box’s and how to take care of your cats as well
