About: Having two dogs since they were puppies and raising four cats has taught me a lot about animal behavior, patience, and daily care routines. I've experienced everything from the teething phase to handling older pets, all which have made me a confident and attentive care-giver for all kinds of pets. I'm currently a student in high-school so my a.m. time is limited. However, I am very much willingly to assist in after-school jobs and opportunities. I will happily take pets for walks for a desired amount of time and/or play with them. About: Caring for cats has always come naturally to me. I understand their rhythms, respect their space, and love getting to know each one’s unique personality. When I was a kid, I would always take care of our next-door neighbors' cat whenever they went away. About: My entire family loves dogs. We will take such good care of your dog. I had dogs my entire life and truly enjoy them, they are my babies. We have trained our dogs and are very responsible with making sure that they are happy, loved and well taken care of. Both my husband and I work from home. About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

“Ian really is a treasure! My partner had an emergency hip replacement so we're using Ian for daily walks with our biggest dog for 3 months (and maybe more). Our Finn is a giant dog (over 105 pounds and dog reactive) and Finn loves Ian. She sent daily text updates, plenty of pictures, and a video each day of my vacation. Sammie even was able to fall asleep with her in her bed similar to how she is at home. Sammie loved their dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. I highly recommend Melissa, Dan, and her family for watching dogs. You will feel at ease knowing your pup is in wonderful, loving hands :)”

They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”
