About: I have owned a dog since I was 12 and I have always treated my dogs as though they were my best friend. Most recently I have the luxury to take my dogs to work since I own a business doing hair, photography and modeling. I decided to extend my love to babysitting dogs. About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. If we’re caring for your pets in your home, we’re happy to follow any specific guidelines or routines you provide to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.

“Amanda was just what we were looking for! Our fur baby is a11 year old Golden Retriever with some heath issues. We really wanted to find a caring person with children( she loves kids) we knew this would cheer her up,and we were right! As a matter of fact when we picked her up it was almost like she wanted to stay! She was depressed for the first day we brought her home, which to us it was a good sign that she had a good time! We will be bringing her to Amanda in October. I highly recommend her!”

“From the start I new my dog was in good hands with Laura. She took the time to get to know me and my dog Miles. I like that she limits the number of boarders she takes so it is not overwhelming. I appreciate that she showed me the set up for where the dogs stay. She sent me daily updates on how he slept, ate, etc, and videos of him playing with some of the other dogs. He was clearly having fun! She also sent a video of her interacting with Miles which meant a lot. She clearly enjoys the dogs and I feel very comfortable leaving him again, and look forward to another vacation!”
“Instant karma. Bronx quickly became a velcro dog to Jen and she got roped into his boo boo eyes. He adapted to her 3 little ones (and they to him) such that they could lounge in proximity on the deck out back. Jen will most certainly be a go-to sitter for us in the future.
