About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. If we’re caring for your pets in your home, we’re happy to follow any specific guidelines or routines you provide to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

Because my own neutered male is reactive to unneutered males, hosting an intact dog requires intensive behavioral management. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. About: I’ve taken care of cats for 16+ years, my dog for 7 years and counting, and I briefly worked at Canine Clubhouse for almost 2 months. About: I run a music teaching business as well as am a commercial pilot and flight instructor. I grew up with dogs my whole life (all golden retrievers) and I do a lot of pet sitting on the side for student's families. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. Feel free to ask me questions! I would love to watch your pup. :) I'm available for pet sitting any day of the week at any times! I can handle seniors aswell as active dogs. I would love to spend time with your pup. I have one super friendly dog that loves to play and gets along great with cats. I go on 3 walks a day with my pup. She is very active and friendly. Your pup will be able to relax and also get the outside time they need. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for running around and playing.

“We left my dog, Teddy, with Laura for 4 days while on vacation. This was the first time we have ever left him with someone else overnight and I was worried. Needlessly worried it turned out, since Laura took such amazing care of our Teddy. Teddy is high energy, but Laura knew how to handle him & keep him busy. He had his own space, but made doggy friends while he was there, and she sent an update every day with pictures and videos to reassure me. I can safely say Teddy had the best time! I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. In fact, we extended his stay an extra day. I knew he was well taken care of and was even getting his usual snuggles. Can’t say enough great things about Laura’s care! We will definitely be using her again.”
