About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I don't have a routine yet but hopefully I will establish one soon. I have done numerous overnights with up to 4 dogs. About: I've taken care of dogs for my friends and family for over 10 years. My sister, my bosses and different friends all trust me for a few reasons. First, I love animals and have a good rapport with them. Second, I am clean and keep my word when I agree to show up at a certain time. People recognize this and trust me to show up. Lastly, I am a calm person who brings a tranquil energy. Each animal has their own personality which I respect and learn to work with, and some have more challenging behaviors then others. Some are not good with other dogs or cats, some aren't good with kids, some are timid and need a lot of warming up to and some are pretty much good with everyone. I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. Pricing varies depending if paying through Rover (they take $ from the total), or paying in person/on another app that doesn’t take money away. I am a photographer so I can take and print photos of your pup/s for an additional fee I have a flexible schedule with work and my free time. I have a reliable car to get me to a residence to dog sit I have dogs I walk and take care of on a daily basis and can add your dog to my daily routine as well. Whether it’s stopping in for a potty break, walking them, playing with them, or letting them out of their cages for a little.
About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I have plenty of experience working with animals. I started out as a farm aid at Turtleback zoo a couple years ago and left to go work with marine mammals in Florida. When I came back to NJ I went to Cape May and worked as a full time seasonal animal keeper. After my 6 months were up I went back to Turtleback zoo as a Relief Keeper. I left the zoo field December 2021 and started working part time at a local vet clinic where I work with all size dogs and cats. I also work part time at a vets office but when I am dog sitting I do not just do that your pets have more of my attention and are my priority. First, I love animals and have a good rapport with them. Second, I am clean and keep my word when I agree to show up at a certain time. People recognize this and trust me to show up. But she looked exactly the same way as when she was dropped off. She was so clearly loved and comfortable staying at their house. Michael & Tracy have a client for life!”
