When my family and I adopted my Shi Zhu, he had numerous of kidney issues which meant I was responsible for providing him with his medication. About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. I deeply care about animals and would love to do what I can, especially since I cannot have my family pup & chinchilla with me at school. I will surely abide by clients' wishes regarding their caretaking directions and preferences. I will also be mindful and respectful of being in another person's space, and clean up after myself and the fur babies.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I live on a farm and i love animals of all shapes and sizes! I have also house sit for two years in a row with a family friend who has 2 large dogs. I have house sit for weeks in a row including multiple walks and potty breaks! I am a full time student. I am still available most days but my school must come first. Every day except for Tuesday and Thursday I am available after 12. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class from 8am - 3 pm. I would love to still help you out with your fur babies just be sure to keep my schedule in mind! I always treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect. I follow your pet’s routine, ensure they feel safe and comfortable, and keep their environment clean. I love giving pets plenty of affection, playtime, and attention, while also making sure they’re secure and happy when you’re away. Your pet’s safety and trust come first!

About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. I’m also able to provide in-home boarding as I do not currently have a pet in the home. I also am able to offer drop-in services to address any home needs (mail, plant care, shoveling or vacation mowing), dog-walking, and light housework. Additional services like dog-walking upon request- let’s make your time away painless without concern at home.
