About: Cats have always been a big part of my life — I’ve grown up with them for as long as I can remember. I also worked for a pet sitting company, where I cared for cats of all ages and personalities. About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped train my family dog. Family and friends have relied on me to help walk, feed, and play with their pets ever since I was little. I’m currently a senior at William and Mary. I am available all day Friday through Sunday and any time past 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday. About: Throughout my life i’ve grown up with dogs and later in life with cats. I have also worked at boarding places here and there and currently work as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. Currently I am working full time at the clinic T-F 8-6. I will sometimes work a Saturday job seasonly but that won’t start until around spring. “Ben has been a fantastic overnight sitter for my golden retriever. My dog stays at his house, where he also has two friendly dogs that get along great with mine. Ben sends regular updates and photos—usually of the dogs out on walks or my dog happily getting belly rubs—which I really appreciate. He also has a great fenced-in backyard where the dogs can safely play. The best sign of all was that my dog was genuinely excited to see Ben again on a repeat visit.
