About: Cats have always been a big part of my life — I’ve grown up with them for as long as I can remember. About: Hello Friends! We are Yamini & Pawan, and are new to Rover. We have taken a passion for taking care of pets ever since Piper, our golden-doodle, came into our lives 4 years ago. We love to play, snuggle, go for walks with her. As dog parents, we know how difficult it is when you have to leave your pet. Our aim is to provide a safe & cozy haven when you are away. We have taken care of friends & family dogs, and our doodle loves to play with other dogs and is amicable. We work from home and are almost empty nesters. We have enough flexibility through out the day to take care of your pup’s needs, meals, and daily walks etc. We look forward to having your pet with us, please let us know your pet’s daily routine, any special needs and behaviors (anxiety, belly rubs etc.) that we should be aware of so we can make your pet most comfortable while you are away. We can accept drop ins starting 8 am and pick ups no later than 10 pm. We live in a townhome with paved walkways and a dog park. Pets have full access to our home. No restrictions on furniture or beds.
“Houston is a very particular, somewhat fearful and needy little angel whom Alessandra was able to provide just the right environment for. After each visit, he came home happy, healthy and tired! When I dropped him off at the bigger daycare centers in the area, he would be shaking before we even walked in the door. He cried when I left him and he was so stressed and overwhelmed when I picked him up, he would take long trauma naps through dinner and breakfast the next day. In Alessandra's home, he is able to roam and lay wherever, whenever; he gets plenty of walks and enjoys her backyard. More importantly (for him), he has a limited number of playmates, so he can avoid the burnout and feeling of being overwhelmed and there is plenty of space to take a break as needed. This intimate environment seems to do much better for him and we are very appreciative of the love Alessandra shows Houston. We get lots of photos and updates every day. I find Alessandra to be very flexible, communicative and easy to talk to. We won't be looking elsewhere unless she is fully booked!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped train my family dog. Family and friends have relied on me to help walk, feed, and play with their pets ever since I was little. I’m currently a senior at William and Mary. I am available all day Friday through Sunday and any time past 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday. I am very flexible with my timing and have lots of time to spend with pets! I will be living in dorms that do not allow pets. For that reason I can not do over night pet sitting at my residence. I work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week! I’m happy to walk/tend to your dog during the week for short periods of time. I have more time on the weekends to dog sit as needed! I’ll care for your dog(s) like I would my own while looking after them. I’m very tentative and look/listen for their signals to know if they need to go out or just want some attention. I always make sure if there’s been a mess to clean it right away and cover/block off the area for a bit so your pet won’t try to lick up any chemicals. I also make sure that their collar/leash is on securely before taking them out for a walk to prevent any incidents from occurring.

About: I’ve had dogs for my whole life but only recently started sitting for other people’s dogs I love all animals and children I’m also a babysitter for family and friends I recently got back from army training so currently I’m not very busy so I have plenty of time to walk your pup, play with them and go on hikes I have a huge fenced in yard and two very friendly medium sized dogs for your pup to play with I can crate your dog if needed

“Never has our German Shorthair Pointer, Reagan, come back from a dog sitter happier than when we picked him up from a two week stay with Drew yesterday. That says it all for me. Usually when we pick him up after a week or more away from him, he is yelping and crying and can’t wait to get away from the sitter and back home. Yesterday when we picked him up, he was happy to see us, but was in no hurry to leave Drew! We got regular pictures of Reagan from Drew, so we had peace of mind during our vacation that Reagan was happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Drew to sit for your dogs.”
