This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. We were gone for over a week and we never worried about our dog; we knew she was a good hands and getting lots of attention and great care. Ashley sent us pictures, videos, and updates. This was the first time Lily really had extended play with other dogs plus Ashley's kids; it was clear our dog was happy, safe, and probably didn't want to leave :-) Couldn't have asked for better care or a better experience. Our 20-year-old was put on insulin about 10 days before we were due to leave and our regular cat sitters backed out because they were uncomfortable with giving shots. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found Dana through Rover. Dana was highly experienced with injections, understood each of our cats' peculiarities and also offered to continue feeding the ferals that we've been doing trap-fix-release with. Will be very patient with your animal and make sure that they are as comfortable as they can be. Should not have issues with watching or walking your pet and am open to any lengths of walks. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.
About: I have been helping to take care of animals of all kinds since I got my first dog at 5 years old. Now 21, I have over 15 years of animal care experience by helping the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. My house is very secure and has lots of friendly neighbors with their own pets who would love to play and meet yours. I also live with 3 other people, which means your dog is never left unsupervised for too long.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I have one dog named Zeus who is like a child to me and one cat named Tito who I also adore! Sometimes I think I like animals more than people😂. Animals always love me and I always treat them like my own:)) I currently do not work so my schedule is always open no matter what time or day of the week! I’m free almost all the time:)) I have an open yard with a long chain I use for potty breaks or outdoor play time! We also have many neighbor dogs who love to make new friends!
