“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.
About: fostered 3 litters of kittens, pet sat for family friends with a dog and 2 indoor/outdoor cats, I have cared for a senior dog and also senior cats before. Im graduated from high school on summer break waiting to go off to college and looking for something to do with animals because I love them! I have no other job so Ill be available really any time Im needed There is a fenced yard with our family dog Ezra to play with, also 2 cats, I love walking dogs and dont mind letting them out or taking them out often. Lots of cuddles and time will be spent with your pet, and Ill wait with them to make sure they eat

About: My family has had a dog my entire life, but I got MY first dog when I was 12 years old. He was my best friend and his name was Tucker. He was an Australian Shepherd and we spent most of our time together. I taught him how to sit and shake his paw...we even mastered a high five. Tucker and I went through life together. He was my copilot, my swimming buddy, my listening ear and the best pillow to lay my head on. In his late years, Tucker's vision and hearing were mostly gone, but he could always find me with his nose! Near the end of his life Tucker lost the connections from his brain to his back legs. I had to carry him outside to use the bathroom and that was when I knew it was time to let him go. Tucker passed away in my arms in October of 2021. My life was forever changed by my furry best friend. He was lucky to have a furry friend for the last 5 months of his life. We adopted an American Staffordshire Terrier in July of 2021 and he has brought so much joy to our home and has helped my kids with the passing of Tucker. Rumble is our puppy and I have house trained him and he is very good with kids and other dogs. I am currently working from home so it gives me a lot of flexibility to let your pups out to play and to make sure they have a lot of free time throughout the day. My lap is always free for any pup that needs a seat and some back scratches! I have a very friendly dog that would love to have play time with your dog, but I also have a crate for my dog should they need some time apart. I have a large back yard and I have 30' leads for the dogs to run around on. I am willing to give treats if you wish and your pup is welcome to bring their favorite toys and a blanket from home to smell for comfort.
About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. With a flexible work schedule, I am able to provide in-home care 3 days a week uninterrupted and with a local home location, am able to check in on days in the office as well. Whether it’s daily check-ins, walks, or extended stays, I make sure every pet receives reliable, compassionate care as part of my regular routine—not as an afterthought. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether in my home or in my client’s home, to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health, and I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages. My home is equipped with 2 outdoor security cameras as well as a fully fenced in yard. In a client’s home, I respect the space while ensuring pets receive consistent care, enrichment, and companionship. In my home, pets are given a calm, safe environment with supervision, structured routines, and positive reinforcement. With my veterinary technician experience and animal care and dog training certifications, I’m able to administer medications, support training, care for puppies, and provide gentle, attentive care for senior pets. My goal is always to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life, from chickens, hamsters to cats, dogs, and even horses. I’ve helped care for cats and dogs for family and friends in the past, providing feeding, playtime, companionship, and general care. I genuinely love spending time with animals! I’m very patient and understanding, which I think is super important when it comes to pet care (and earning their trust!). I am a college student but I usually only have two classes in the morning, which leaves me free the rest of the day to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! I have a fenced backyard and a super friendly, medium-sized dog, along with a cat who spends most of her day exploring outside. If your pet needs privacy or separate space, I totally understand and have room to accommodate that.
About: I grew up in a house that had an abundance of animals at all times. Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, and birds. I basically lived in a zoo! I current work part-time as a receptionist at a retirement home, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your little fur babies! I make sure they have lots and lots of cuddles, plenty of food and water, and of course some time to get those zoomies out!

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”
