“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”
“We recently traveled for a family vacation and for the first time had to leave our boys Jasper and Pablo (cats) behind. It was a nerve racking feeling! I did some research and came across Kitty’s profile. I knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit for our boys. The communication was on point at all times. She updated us with photos of them and gave us little details of their behavior and activities. We only had to provide the food, she provided everything else. They returned home happy and so well behaved, we think she trained them because they were already good boys but came back even better. She also sent them home with a toy that Jasper loves and the cutest “catlander”. Kitty was flexible with time and availability. My only complaint is that I know that they love her more than they love us lol I’m ok with that. Kitty has loyal clients with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER.”

About: I have always had at least one cat my whole life and since I was 10 years old, one (to several) dogs. Spending time with my dogs and husband is my favorite activity. I also have experience with guinea pigs, hamsters, and turtles. I work a full-time job from home and I am able to make my own schedule, I just need some heads up to accommodate a schedule change. All dogs are crate-free in family room unless there is behavior issue during the day, and all dogs stay in the bedroom with us at night. - Dog walking schedule: 6:30am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and before bed time. In weekends we take dogs to fully fenced dog parks for 30~60min. Schedules are adjustable as needed. I'm currently stay at home 24/7. We wake up 6:00am for the first walk, and a short walk every 3~5 hours. My working station is in the family room right next to dogs, so I can take care of the dogs quickly if anything happened. I do not have any children. I also do not have any males in my home, if your pup is weary of new men (No offense fellas!) I do live in a condo building, so your pup will need to be able to walk up stairs. There is an elevator in the building, but we will take the stairs if they fear or are uncertain of the elevator. Your pup must be OK walking on-leash, as we are not allowed to have dogs off-leash on the property. If your pup requires off-leash potty breaks, i recommend drop-ins instead of boarding.
About: I’ve been a pet owner/parent since I was a child. I’ve owned Pugs, Frenchies, Rotties, Great Danes and even mixed breeds from puppies to seniors. This has given me the knowledge to understand that all pups are different and may need different attention depending on their stage of life, but rest assured all pups will receive safe, reliable and loving care. At this time caring for your pet is my only job so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and care for your pups! I’m available for boarding with a drop off window between 9:30am and 7:30pm weekdays, with the exception of 5:30-6pm which is typically when I like to feed the pups unless instructed otherwise. I like to allow about an hour and a half of rest after eating for proper digestion before any playtime. Checkout should be no later than 10:00am, or you will be charged the daycare fee for that day and your pet must be picked up by 6pm.. On weekends drop off times are after 2pm but there may be an opportunity for some flexibility that can be discussed if an earlier time is needed. Daycare hours will run 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. “PLEASE NOTE” that all pets must be up to date with shots and flea and tick meds for daycare and boarding. Proof will be required. Your pets safety is very important to me which is why I require dog friendly pets only and no puppies under 5 months. If you are unsure of how your pet will handle boarding I suggest trying a couple days of daycare to get them adjusted. At no time will your pet ever be left alone in the yard or unattended in my home. If something comes up and I need to run an errand, your pet will be crated/pen for safety. I have central air to keep the pets cool and if your pup feels a bit overwhelmed at first while boarding by my resident dogs, I can offer separation if needed.

My job allows me to have flexible hours and availability during the day so your dog will get proper care and walks. I work from home full time so your dogs will never be alone. I am happy to bring any dogs I sit on runs or to the dog park so they will get plenty of exercise. Additionally, they will get plenty of love of attention. When I’m not pet sitting, I love playing sports, whether it be basketball at my gym or tennis outside! The beach is also a must during warmer weather. Your pup would be welcome to join me on any of these adventures! If I’m not outside being active, I am always spending time with my friends, going out to dinner, seeing a movie, or taking in a show. I also love lounging at my apartment on the couch with a good book/tv show! In Malvern I have a small balcony but there is a gated dog park that is included in the complex - in Philadelphia we do not have a yard but are very close to Rittenhouse Square, Schuykill River Park, and many others!

I do live in a condo building, so your pup will need to be able to walk up stairs. There is an elevator in the building, but we will take the stairs if they fear or are uncertain of the elevator. Your pup must be OK walking on-leash, as we are not allowed to have dogs off-leash on the property. If your pup requires off-leash potty breaks, i recommend drop-ins instead of boarding.

“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”
