About: When not traveling on business trips, I work from my home office, so your dog will receive 24/7 care! I’ve had dogs my entire life and my first job as a tween was pet sitting for neighbors. My current rescue dogs are Jake; a senior Coonhound mix adopted in Tennessee and Kiba, an adult Husky-Great Pyrenees mix adopted locally and is a recovering escape artist. As a former paramedic, I have the skills to administer medications and medical care, as well as to deal with any emergencies. My large backyard is fenced and has a six-foot privacy screen! Our dogs have known that I treat them well, but that I am no “pushover”. In our house, I’m the “General”! I only give a command one time. When Jake or Kiba see the stern look and folded arms, they know to obey the command. I’ve also had a cat, fish, frogs, a turtle, a rabbit, Guinea pigs and even chameleons! I love all animals and would love spending time with yours. I work from home when not traveling on business (usually one week per month), so I am available 24/7 to care for your pet’s needs. I absolutely adore my fur babies and helping others care for theirs brings me so much joy. I also have now taken on chickens and fish as well, so I have a variety of experience. I’m currently a SAHM homeschooling my oldest and caring for my youngest. I enjoy animals of all kinds, they are my passion and would love to share that with others. Being a SAHM gives me more availability to do drop ins, walks, and care for critters. I have a fenced in yard, which is how I’ve always pottied my dogs, but I’m also happy to walk them on a leash, and have gone back and forth crating my own dog and am happy to do that as well.

“Daniel was fantastic with our dog, Moki. We were out of the country for 2 weeks, and not only was his long term price the best in the area, but his service was by far the best as well. He sent frequent photos and updates, and his updates were the most detailed and most fun that we have received from any sitter since we started using Rover more than two years ago. “Jack was ready and waiting for Violet when we arrived. He even had his own pets put away so she could meet them after we left instead of overwhelming her when we first dropped her off. He sent daily pictures so we could see she was doing well and enjoying her stay as well as enjoying her new doggie friends. When we arrived to pick her up he had her and all her things ready. Violet had a great time and I know we’ll use Jack again if he’s available. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like his own.”
