About: I’ve been dog sitting for 4 years and have been around all kinds of dogs my whole life. I’m experienced with different temperaments, routines, and care needs, and I always provide patient, attentive care. I mainly have experience with older dogs (1 year to senior) and don’t shy away from the many needs dogs require in their twilight years. I primarily have been dog sitting for a close friend with two beagle mixes and can tell you they gave me enough experience to be able to handle the high energy and stubbornness that comes with their breed. I’m a huge animal lover so it’s all worth it in the end when our furry friends are happy and thriving! I work a full time job 3:30 to midnight so my hours of availability are mornings until 2PM and I have off on weekends currently. I strive to prevent messes when possible and make sure pets are fed, watered and their spaces are well maintained and home owners spaces are left the same or better than when they departed.

He brought our trash cans up our driveway, and brought it our mail before we even reached out to ask, and even took a photo of bees getting into our home while we were away in which we were able to prepare for before we returned from our vacation. He was wonderful for us and from the looks of our blink camera taking some videos in real time, the dogs loved him as well!! About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I have worked with animals professionally since I was 16 years old and have spent the past three years working in animal shelters as a Behavior Specialist, helping dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments feel comfortable, safe, and successful. In addition to my shelter experience, I have four years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My background in animal behavior allows me to recognize body language, reduce stress, and provide individualized care based on each pet's unique needs. Whether your pet loves adventure, needs extra patience, or simply enjoys a consistent routine, I am committed to providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care while you're away. i’m currently working full time and have off on sundays and monday. On the days i work, i work 9-5:30 sometimes getting done earlier on occasion. I currently have a whole separate room to separate cats from my own. I work in animal welfare and know how important sanitization is a well.
“I contacted Matthew for help with my energetic rottie, and he responded quickly and politely. Matthew sent lots of photos and pictures on his walk with Pablo which I loved. Pablo took to him soo fast! He looked soo happy and comfortable on their walk. It was nice to see all the photos along with updates about how he was doing. I think we will be using Matthew more wherever I get the chance. I would definitely recommend using him.”
About: I have taken care of dogs all my life. I have dog sat for neighbors, friends, family members, and more. I have never met a dog that didn't like me. I'm sure your precious pup or kitt will be the same. I am currently a college student. I am free during breaks throughout the school year and the summer! I can slide myself into your furry friend's routine and your vacation plans. Just give me the details. I love to take dogs for walks, play with them and spend time loving them. I will follow their routine because I know how much they will miss you and will keep things as normal for them as possible.
About: I've had a variety of pets in my life more often than not. Pets become family members and I want to be your pet's second family! Let me take care of their needs when you need time away on vacation or work prevents you from doing it. I'm willing to help in any way with senior pets and I have the energy to keep pace with your high energy pets. I am finishing my 24th year as a middle school teacher. If I have patience with high energy 5th graders, your pet will be a piece of cake! I am a 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. During the school year I am available for early morning check ins and any time after 4 pm. during the week. My weekends are open to fulfill your needs at any time. Between June 1st and August 14th my schedule to help you out is wide open. In your house it is your rules. I will follow whatever guidelines and directions you have for me. At my house, I am willing to crate or not. Whatever your preference. I do have a nice sized yard, but unfortunately it is only fenced in at my pool. I would have to supervise your pet in my yard.

“Rufus enjoyed his stay at Martin’s with lots of time running’s outdoors through the woods , playing with the other dogs and splashing in the stream and pond. We appreciated the pictures and videos during his stay. Martin was flexible with drop off and pick up times. Communication was great with quick response times. We could tell Rufus was comfortable and happy when we came to pick him up as he rolled at Martin’s feet for attention. Rufus was tired after his activity filled stay sleeping well the night we brought him home and the next day!”

“My husband and I are so happy we found Nan on Rover. The thought of leaving your pet while on vacation can create a lot of anxiety (especially a long vacation of 9 nights), but after meeting Nan and her family, my husband and I were immediately put at ease. Upon first meeting, it was obvious Nan and her family love animals. Our LuLu warmed up quickly to Nan’s dogs and had a vacation of her own with playmates all week. I know LuLu loved her walks, especially with Nan’s entire family, and she loved playing ball. The pictures and messages all week from Nan were very much appreciated! I find Nan to be professional and caring; her warmth and devotion to animals is evident. LuLu was joyous when “mommy” picked her up, but I could tell from her demeanor she was comfortable and happy in Nan’s home. I also think LuLu is missing her new friends. I highly recommend Nan, and we will definitely be using Nan’s dog sitting services in the future. A big thank you for taking such good care of LuLu!”
About: Pets are family members, and I will to treat your pet like they are a part of my family, regardless how long I have them for. I’ve cared for two dogs growing up and I’m experienced with walking, bathing, caring for dogs. I’m currently working from home, so my time is more flexible during the day and week. My weekends are also free depending on the weekend but I’m huge in communication and that would be discussed way ahead of time. I like to make sure pets have room in space to be free. I have lots of yard space and I also live in an area where we can go on walks or go to the park. I live in a very comfortable space where your dog can lay and stretch out.
